Practicing Wind Wave

Mezurashii sighed as she stretched, training ground 66 was empty as always. She did her basic stretches and kata's to make sure her muscles wouldn't cramp up.

The redhead then spent a good few minutes circulating her chakra and focusing her element. She took a deep breath before reviwing her technique in her head.

She opened her eyes and took a deep breath, he hand flowing smoothly through the well rehearsed signs.

"Wind wave!" she said loudly, focusing her chakra to her fist's she slammed them onto the ground. A small draft of air poofed into existence before disappearing, Mezurashii sighed and focused her chakra again, this time circulating her chakra to her fists before performing the jutsu.

Repeating her earlier actions Mezurashii ran through the hand-signs and slammed her fist's onto the ground. She yelped when her feet removed themselves from the ground and she landed on the dirt ground with a loud 'thud'. So technically the jutsu worked, but it wasn't supposed to knock her off her feet!

"Right..." she muttered to herself, adding a bit of chakra to circulate at her feet so she would stick to the ground, she repeated the jutsu again. This time managing a strong gust but it dissipated far too quickly, simply kicking up dust before fading into a simple breeze once it hit the three metre marker. Mezurashii sighed as she rubbed the back of her neck, this would need more chakra and a tighter lock on the air pressure.

Keeping that in mind the goggle wearing girl visualized the air pressure to be tight and compact, running through it again she raised instead a single fist and brought it to the ground. Her chakra tight and compact like it should be and she was sticking to the ground pretty well.

The reaction was more than satisfactory, a strong gust of wind that caused a passing cat to be knocked over. It shrieked as it rolled a few times, standing up it ran away as quickly as it could, obviously it just been terrified..

"Whoops" She muttered, looking around to make sure no one saw and sighed. Though is she thought about it she probably did the feline a favour, after all if it came around here when she was throwing weapons it would've got a lot more than just a scare, and now it wouldn't come wandering around here again.

The redhead flexed her chakra and found it to be running a bit low, she stretched slowly and sighed happily as the tense muscles loosened up. Who would've known that a little bit of jutsu training would of caused so much strain? She sure as hell didn't, shaking her head she grinned to herself, she couldn't wait to try this in a spar. Maybe she could show Itami and Nakara, actually... what is Nakara's element?

Mezurashii took a deep breath as she sat down under a large tree. that took more out of her than expected. Standing up she headed tothe bath house, planning a relaxing afternoon in the hot springs. For once.
