Walk Around the Kage Tower and Get Paid? Sure!

Mission Details:

Hasumi was really liking the way the village was coming along, it looked a lot better than the decrepit one she had been borne into! The young girl was dressed in a bright sundress provided for her by Junko, her long black hair billowing about as she leaned over the balcony of the Kage Tower. Laughter filled the air as Hasu giggled and smiled, her bright blue eyes taking in the village of Tsukigakure in all of its magnificence. The only thing that could make made the view better would have been if Michiko was with her right now, but Hasu figured that her and her green-haired friend would get to stand together on the balcony soon.

Onlookers likely thought the girl airheaded, but in truth she was trying her best not to dwell on her thoughts. It wasn't an enjoyable experience, her mind often seeming to want to fixate on the terrifying events within the ruins of Tenga. If focusing on her thoughts led her to such stress, she'd much rather try and live in the moment and enjoy her current, superior, environment. Stepping back from the balcony, Hasu stretched out her arms and twirled about a bit as she continued to laugh.

After doing a couple of twirls the girl stopped and turned back towards the interior of the building, where she expected to find Junko and some of her friends that had helped her build the village. She'd listen in as they talked, doing her best to try and figure out what was going on. Eventually she would grow bored or be sent away as the discussion continued, and would head down to the bottom floor of the tower.

Though Hasu hadn't been formally inducted into the village yet she was practically a member, and so she decided to patrol the bottom floor of the Tower while she waited for Junko to finish her meeting. The blue eye girl would giggle and way at anyone who passed by the building, and if anyone attempted to enter she'd politely intercept them and ask them their business. She wasn't to knowledgeable on who was allowed into the building yet so anytime someone did request entry she had to make them wait while she got ahold of Junko or one of her advisors.

As the day began to end and the sun disappeared, Hasu realized that though Tsukigakure looked beautiful at night she was a bit afraid to walk home alone. Feeling completely embarrassed, Hasumi made her way upstairs and gingerly asked Junko if she would be willing to walk her home.

Junko had recently summoned some of the more prominent members of the community to assist her with setting up patrols for the Kage Tower. That morning, a young woman named Hasu presented herself at her office door. She knew that the young girl had recently finished her entrance exam and needed to be added to the roster so she decided to allow her inside. Junko would beckon her into the room and put her to work sorting papers if Hasu accepted her request. Junko would begin to fill out the proper paperwork to add her officially to the village at the rank of Genin. After finishing, she would present it to Hasu, and if she accepted, Junko would welcome her into the village.

After a few hours, both Ren and Azuki would come into the room and the three of them would begin discussing village security. As they got into more intricate details she would ask that Hasu go downstairs and patrol the bottom floor. Turning her attention back to Ren and Azuki, Junko would explain a handful of security tactics that she wanted to see implemented specifically for the Kage Tower. She’d guide them out to the balcony overlooking the village and point out a few different spots where she wished guards to be placed.

As the sun began to set, Junko would thank the others and usher them out of her office. She’d sit in the office chair and attempt to finish a few more things before going to bed. However, she’d be interrupted by a knock at the door, and upon investigation she’d find Hasu waiting for her. She’d ask Junko if she would be willing to escort her home, and she’d agree. First, however, she’d tell Hasu to wait outside the office for a moment while she collected a few of her things. After closing the door, Junko would walk over to her desk and pull out some scissors. She’d use them to make a superficial wound across her palm, which then would allow her to make a blood clone from herself.

Junko would motion to the door with her head and the clone would follow it’s orders. She would ensure to remain out of line of sight so Hasu believed she was with the real Junko. As they left the building, she would quickly heal the wound using one of her basic techniques and get back to work.
