Burnt to the Ground...

Arsonist? Or Act of God? [ Total Required WC: 4000 ]


A recent string of fires had broken out to at the Northern-most border of the Land of Fire leaving many confused and up-in-arms. Rumors had been spread about there being an arsonist on the loose, however, with recent storms as of late, there's a possibility that lightning striking could be the culprit, or even electrical causes due to poor wiring of old farm homes, barns, and sheds. The latter seemed the most plausible given that there has been no witnesses seeing anyone, and lightning wouldn't have just striken a lot in one small northern area when the storms have been all over the Land of Fire.

Masume, mission paper in hand, found a kunoichi at the most recent scene of the accident. She was tall and fair with a deep and dark crimson colored hairstyle that reached down to the small of her back. She had introduced herself as Scarlet, and she was a Jounin from the Leaf Village, supervising the potential crime scene investigation. The woman was mature and beautiful with a maroon lipstick on her lips, yet not a wrinkle in sight.

She had a stern and concerned look over her face, wearing her headband around her neck, loosely. She explained to Masume to look for clues and if there was an arsonist to track him down promptly while she gathers statements. She also stated that Masume and Masume's assigned partner could go to the other locations of the fires to investigate as well, or read up the report notes, though she encouraged seeing the scenes for themselves.

A partner? Well, this did seem to be rather complex and a rather serious mission. Perhaps more than one mind was needed.
