Roy Goka was firmly on the Hoshigakure ninja track. He had finally completed a few missions; met some people within the village, and could finally see himself a fully fledged ninja. Still, the goal of becoming a great swordsman was still far from reach. Roy had still yet to come across a sword that he was happy with, and his ninja bundle that he purchased was still on the way to him, so for now Roy figured it was a good chance to hone in on his natural ability.
Roy did not care too much about the Goka Clan. He knew that his bloodline had almost been wiped out due to the continuous wars of the hidden volcano, his father being one of them, and the information on the clan was not abundant. Roy knew that he would need to figure this out on his own or be lucky enough to find somebody help him do it. For now, Roy still had a lot to learn about the element he heard so much about, scorch release, and how he was able to harness it in his own jutsu.
Today would be the day, though, at a step in the right direction towards learning how to use the element. Waking up early Roy would stuble out of his straw bed, his body clearly inflamed by the straw from the bed itself and the linen rags that he wore to cover himself. Roy knew that all of this was coming to end soon. He would finally find a place that was better than this... Hostel that he was given refuge in, he just needed to get a little stronger. Roy had no privacy here, as the room housed many refugees from other villages as well, some young, and some old. All of whom looking to find a life in a new place and a new village. Still, Roy was not going to stay here much longer, it was time him to find a proper place to call home, and there were others that needed the space.
To start his day, Roy would leave the room and the hostel that he was in and find his way towards the city square. There, The scorch swordsman would look around a little find to find a light meal to start his day, then head to the water gardens to begin his day of training.
