After recovering from his injuries and being assaulted by the mysterious man, Rakuzan would be saved by a few Medical personnel, healing his wounds. Unfortunately, his eye couldn't be healed, so he would resort to wearing a black eyepatch in the meantime. Heh, the One-Eyed Samurai - it had a nice ring to it. The Envoy would make sure he had everything, from ninja tools to Ryo, before sitting on the Crude Canoe and sailing straight towards his new destination with the oars. He also activated his Byakugan to perceive any attackers within 100m of his position to react accordingly. If he wasn't welcome in the Island Country, then he would simply have to get stronger someplace else, and he knew the right place.
