The real Ryu:

Ryu awoke for the morning after his mission for his leader, still, the pair had not returned from the chuunin exams. Ryu performed his morning ablutions and other hygiene requirements before dressing, he readied a selection of clothing and begun dressing. starting with the compression leggings Ryu pulled them up to his waist and then covered them down to his ankles. Next Ryu donned his lightweight bodysuit that covered his entire body, however, he did not pull the face-covering over. Ryu then started by winding compression bandages around his toes and feet, then around his ankle and up to his calf, finally wrapping it around his mid-thigh, once the bandage had been completely uncoiled and its maximum length reached he secured the velcro together to keep it tight so it stayed in place and also could do its job. Ryu then repeated the process again on his other foot and leg. Ryu then pulled on a pair of black, long shorts that once secured around his waist covered down to just below his knees, where they then met his compression wrappings. 

Ryu then began to wrap his hands and arms with a similar pair of compression bandages, firstly he unspoiled the bandage in its entirety. Ryu wrapped the bandage around his hand and up to his arm until it was connected together and held in place halfway up his bicep with a velcro binding. Next Ryu then wrapped his hands in actual hand wraps, firstly Ryu held his hand out with his thumb and fingers spread out, he looped the thumb hold over his extended thumb and then began to wind the bandage across the front of his palm and then around the bottom of his hand and over his knuckles, he then wrapped his knuckles twice more. Ryu then continued to wrap his hand by moving the bandage to his wrist and continued the wrapping motion until his wrist had been wrapped three times. Next Ryu layered the bandage up slightly moving closer to his knuckles each rotation until he wrapped his knuckles another three times, his entire hand now covered by the bandage, with very little skin exposed except above the upper knuckles of the fingers, to complete the wrap Ryu wound the bandage around his wrist until it was at the end of its spoil, he then secured the velcro fastening together to hold it in place, Ryu then continued to wrap his other hand and arm the same. Ryu pounded his fists together several times to test the wrapping making sure it was tight but breathable, it appeared to be sufficiently compressed.

Ryu then pulled his chosen t-shirt over his head and nestled it over his torso. The t-shirt was dark grey and plain, it was loose fitting and reached just below his waist. Ryu then picked up his clan ring that sat on a metal link chain from his bedside table and secured it around his neck. Tucking the ring under his t-shirt he then picked up a belt. Ryu wound the belt around his waist and through each of the loopholes on his pair of black, knee-length shorts. The belt was there to keep his shorts in place if combat occurred, but it also had a secondary function. Hanging from the right side of his hip was an extra loophole, this loophole was there so his katana scabbard could be tied to it and he could wear his father's blade with pride. Whereas his other weapons were mostly concealed for a more professional reason. Next Ryu removed his pair of tantos from their holster and checked the blades, once he was satisfied with them he added them to the leather x crossed holster that stored them and swung this holster over each shoulder so that they sat on his back with the handles aiming diagonally towards his hips and out towards the floor. Ryu then pulled on his jacket which was a black, very light summery material with no buttons, on the back of the jacket was another village symbol emblazoned across it. He then pulled the hood/face-covering of the lightweight bodysuit from underneath his t-shirt and jacket and let it hang over the back of them like a hoody would. Ryu finished getting dressed by wrapping his headband across his forehead. Ryu added an extra step to his clothing of hanging his i.d. badge around his neck but over his clothes so it was clearly visible, after all, he was a guest in this village, a heavily armed guest. Finally, Ryu packed his hip pouch and leg holster. He evenly split his shuriken and kunai up between the pouch and the holster but stored all of his extra equipment in the pouch, such as wire, spikes, and food pills. Once they were supplied he wound the leg holster around his left thigh and the pouch he put on the back of his right hip.

Ryu stood up happy with his preparation for a day of exploring the village, today would be the first leisure day he had since entering this fine village. Ryu walked towards the door and as he rested his hand on the doorknob he sighed and unclasped his katana from the belt loop and placed it next to the door. He decided that he should not walk around the village with such obvious armaments, he kept his concealed tantos and smaller weapons. Ryu exited the room and walked downstairs, as he entered the main room the elderly owner called out to him "Would you like breakfast, Mr.Nara?". Ryu smiled at the elderly man, who had been an excellent host so far "No thank you. I will be exploring the village today, can you recommend anywhere for breakfast?". The elderly man held his index finger up and turned around, he jostled around behind his counter for a few seconds before bringing out a leaflet "This has all of our recommendations on it, enjoy" The man smiled again as he handed it over and then went on about his day.

An hour later Ryu sat in the outside area of a restaurant and was enjoying a breakfast burrito as he watched the people of Hoshi go about their daily lives, he was enjoying his leisurely time, what could possibly go wrong?

Ryu took another bite of his delicious burrito, all the ingredients entered his mouth in the same bite and he was in heaven. Surely there was nothing that could break this moment of peace. The real Ryu had been through many trials of late and had mostly failed them, this next trial would likely be his last if he were to fail it, not that in this very second that was known to him. As the fake Ryu approached from his behind and built chakra into his hand to launch his attack was the first signal the real Ryu got that something was amiss.

The thought snapped through Ryu's mind as his passive ability to sense chakra noticed the attack forming outside the palm of the man, but his ability had not picked up any source of chakra prior to the attack. Although in that instant Ryu could not think through the situation his instincts told him that he must dodge and with all haste. In the same instant chakra flooded to his left hemisphere and the gate of the opening activated. At the same moment, as the fake Ryu was to unleash his alpha strike the real Ryu would use all of his instinct to dodge, he kicked his feet off of the ground and flung himself backwards over the chair and pushed himself, unknowingly towards his attacker. As Ryu hit the floor hard and began to skid hopefully under the attack that was aimed at his sitting height his right eye would change shape and colour. The pupil would elongate and lose its black and grey colour, the pupil also covered the entire height of the eye socket. Simultaneously his veins would bulge and become more prominent as they connected to the Byakugan eye.

As Ryu slid past his target he would roll onto his front and use both his hands and feet to push himself upwards, providing he could use his enhanced vision to identify the attack was over. As he rose to his feet he would be 1m away from his opponent and using the enhanced strength and speed of the first gate he would cock his left fist backwards and fire off a ranged tai attack at the centre mass of his opponent, who was now visible thanks to the bloodline of the Hyuuga.

Ap, tings' & math:

Ryu would notice the large amount of needles spreading from his palm in a wide fan pattern, the one hundred and eighty degree angle that would spell the man's doom, as the needles form and shot, the man suddenly jumped backwards, towards him. This would prove to be incredibly fatal, as the needles would be able to travel about three fourths of a meter out before the man was showered with them in mid air, sort of. He was fairly low, but with how wide the spray fanned out, some of the needles would definitely hit him, and they did. Puncturing through whatever defenses he had, the man would suddenly feel a massive amount of pin pricks on hs back, before the man skid passed Ryu, going very quickly. Ryu felt like he could not compete in speed with this man, and the poison had already hit him, now Ryu just needed to avoid the man for a couple of moments before he succumbed to the deadly toxin in the needles. Just to be safe and able to dodge the man, Ryu activated his sharingan, as even if the man saw it now, it would make no difference. 

If the man continued to attack him, even knowing that the poison was worming his way through his body and was going to kill him swiftly, then Ryu would activate Genjutsu Binding on the man, holding him in place hopefully just long enough to disrupt whatever attack the man might have made.

OOC: Calling a hit because the senbon are fired in a spray of needles, meaning it is a half sphere, so Ryuzaki jumping back towards them when you noticed the chakra gathered in the hand meant that you would run right into them.

AP Jutsu and Math:

Ryu had attempted to hit the floor and skirt under the attack but had somehow still taken impacts all over his back and legs. The chakra needles soaked in poison entered his body, instant piercing through his armor and rendering it useless. However his counterattack had provided successful, his target had tried to counter but apparently, he had not been able to in time and took the taijutsu puncture to his center mass. Ryu's clothes were shredded and a small amount of blood trickled out from his mouth, he had taken a serious blow but was still able to fight. There was poison inside his system but it did not currently seem to be affecting him, was it because of the adrenaline, because of the gates, or was it just his imagination. Ryu decided that he needed to finish this fight quickly and pressed the attack.

Chakra flooded through his system and entered the other hemisphere of his brain, in his mind a singing door was flooded with water and burst open, the second gate of healing was activated and he felt refreshed. Suddenly the damage in his body felt more minor than it was. Ryu brought his mouth closer together and spat towards his opponent who was still 1m away unless he had begun to move. However, instead of saliva, a senbon needle flew from his mouth and was fired at full speed towards his opponent's torso. Ryu dropped his shoulder and bent his knees, he followed up his senbon attack with another physical attack. At full speed, Ryu barreled towards his opponent attempting to smash into him wherever he might currently be.

Ryu was suddenly surprised as his solar plexus was smashed with an astounding force, and he could tell that his internal organs were rattled around and damaged, although luckily, if you could call it lucky, only his stomach was outright destroyed. Considering his assassin training, the pain was not enough to knock him out, and as he still wanted to attempt to complete the mission, he decided to try something, and a thick purple fog suddenly exited his mouth at the same time he had to exhale all of the air out of his lungs due to getting hit in the solar plexus, and this made it so that he could not see much, and so suddenly the very fast senbon entered his upper torso and pierced his heart. The speed and impact force of the senbon was so fast, the hole that was ripped through his body was larger than the senbon itself, the force taking a bunch of extra flesh with it as it zoomed out of his back and crashed into the food stand behind him, embedding itself deep into the wall and probably into the room beyond. 

At this point, Ryu was dead, but the poison mist might be able to do something, although fairly unlikely, as the man knew he used poisons now and it was difficult. The man would be thoroughly in the poison mist, especially if he still wanted to use the bull rush technique he was about to use, but the assassin known as ryu was deceased, and had even less of a chance due to the opponent's special eye.

Ryu's attacks had been successful, the man seemed to be dead before he even fell, but he unleashed one more attempt to finish his mission. The poison mist exited the man's mouth as Ryu burst forward, as soon as he saw the mist escaping the man's mouth he held his breath, he assumed it was poison. With a thought, Ryu activated his breath seal that was embedded on his trachea, he was now able to breathe without taking in any of the harmful substances in the air. Ryu skidded to a stop before he impacted the man, not wanting to do any more damage than was necessary. 

Ryu started to move backwards away from the poison mist, it began to spread out. The byakugan still active, Ryu allowed all of the details around him up to his visual range to filter into him. The scene was chaotic, the short exchange had created a lot of damage. Luckily Ryu had kept his attacks localized to his target, but he could not say the same for the assassin Ryu. The sheer focus on the completion of his job, even with his dying breathe impressed Ryu, but this time he had been the victor if only by the skin of his teeth. It appeared that four other patrons of the restaurant had fallen in the initial attack by the assassin, the poison needles striking at vital points and quickly ending their lives. Ryu thought about rising the alarm, but then decided it would be better if he escaped the current situation since he was a guest here and it would be better if he was not involved when the authorities arrived. Ryu turned and began to run back at full speed to the place that he was staying.
