Starting a Journey

Hitora would wake up, like it was any regular day in the village. He wanted nothing more than to make the upcoming trip a good one. He would pack up his bag tightly, bringing his regular outfit as well as his more formal attire, several sets of them as he shoved them in his dufflebag. He had not yet obtained any Ninja Tools, so he knew he would be under equipped when he arrived, but he needed to do his best. He had been invited to attempt the Chūnin Exams and he was going to do just that: attempt them as he was currently, though he was not much of a fighter yet and he knew that those going would likely beat him down early on if it came to a one on one fight at any point.

The young Uchiha had a hearty breakfast that his mother had prepared for him: Toast, Bacon, Eggs, Pancakes with syrup and butter, she must have been proud of her child as he had managed to get an invitation to the Exams pretty quickly after becoming a Ninja proper. She had spent a good amount of money on this feast knowing that it would be costly.

The Uchiha boy was wearing his usual black attire that was complete with his black pants, black shoes, black turtleneck and black jacket. He also wore a sheepish and sad smile on his face, he knew that they were celebrating too early as he was not likely to make the grade and become a Chūnin. The odds were simply against the youth in this matter that he was going to be going up against. Once he had finished his meal he kissed his mother on the cheek and cleaned up his portion of dirty dishes as was customary.

Hitora then made a final check of his bag that was full of clothing and smirked. He hefted the bag onto his shoulders and left the small home, wanting no more attempts at fanfare to be given to him. Hitora headed towards the village gates that let out closest to his direction of the land of Haven. Once he reached the gate the young Uchiha handed his letter of acceptance into the Chūnin Exam to the guard and waited for the stoic man to approve or deny his attempt to exit the village, hoping that he would let the Uchiha leave peacefully...
