Task: You happen across a very troubled Genin who is very disappointed with life as a shinobi. You overhear him muttering to himself that he is going to abandon the village tonight and live a life of true freedom. Being the upstanding citizen that you are your job is to turn him in before he can go through with this life changing act

Yuurei’s skills continued to grow as a ninja, but he knew that he couldn’t slack off now. The more things he had done for the village, proved to give him the recognition of his growth, but it also ensures that his village was kept safe and nobody would put harm to the village in the future. Still, if there was one person he had to help with their growth, it was his partner Gin. The Uchiha had made sure he was going to help him out, and it was why he decided to tell Gin, that they were going to meet up at the Training Grounds that they had trained in before. This would be good for both of them, and he knew that Gin himself had gotten stronger.

Yuurei’s morning was the same as his routine required him with making sure that he had everything with him. When he had done that, he had made his way to the kitchen, eating everything that his mother had prepared for him today. When he was done, the young boy would make his way out of the house and make his way to the roof of his house. His eyes scanning the area before he started running off in the direction of the training grounds. His movements were as sharp as ever as he would jump off one roof and then to another. His eyes looked to the ground level to see the people of the village moving along with him at a slower pace. Then his eyes moved to the sky as he could see that it was a beautiful day and a great training day.

His travels would come to an end soon enough as he could see that the houses were coming to an end. His movements shifted as he started running down the walls safely as he made to the ground. Of course, he didn’t stop running as it wouldn’t take a few minutes before he made his way to the training ground. He could see that he was the first to arrive between the two, which wasn’t surprising to him. The Uchiha had landed on a post log as he would take a seat on his legs as they were and his feet would be pointed towards each other. His eyes closed as he knew this might take a while due to Gin’s tardiness.

While his eyes were closed, things around him became clearer, and it wouldn’t take long before he would hear someone not too far from him. Yuurei didn’t want to be nosey, but it was clear enough to hear.

“I can’t be here anymore. This village has too many rules. I can’t do anything I truly want. If I hurt someone I get in trouble. If I do things the Kage doesn’t like I get in trouble. I just can’t deal with it. I need to leave this village, and enjoy myself outside in this world.” He said to himself as it seemed like he was training right now.

Yuurei’s eyes would open up and he found that concerning. If that ninja left the village, then that meant he would be abandoning Sunagakure, which the Uchiha wouldn’t allow. Still, instead of approaching the young man, he waited for Gin, so they could do that together. He kept tabs on the young man thought as he wasn’t going to let him disappear from his sight.

This time he was sure to be on time, Gin had thought. But no matter how sure he was, it was simply a thought. The young ninja would wake early enough to clean his room, to avoid his mother assigning him chores, packed his weapon pouch, ready his clothing and showered. Once he was fully clean and dressed, he looked upon the clock and made sure it was revealing the right time. "Good, I'm forty minutes early" he said happily before sitting down at the table with a plate of bacon, eggs, and homefries.

Gin was nearly finished when his mother had called to him, "Gin! I need help with something!" this irritated the ninja.

"What is it!?" he called back, not slowly his eating pace.

"I need help unboxing and moving the rest of the furniture!" the mother called from another room.

"I'm going to train with Yuurei today, mom!" Gin called back before chugging down his orange juice. He quickened his eating pace, knowing that if he stayed any longer, his mother would find any excuse for him to stay, she's always been persistent.

"Your friend can wait for you, I need help now!" she called again, but Gin ate faster, if he could pretend he didn't hear her and rush out the door, he could avoid her, "The sooner you finish this with me, the sooner you can see your friend" Gin's mother arrived into the kitchen, giving him a stern look. Annoyed and frustrated, Gin finished his breakfast and followed his mother to the storage room.

An hour had passed before Gin finished, he then rushed out as fast as he could and flew above the building tops, cursing his attendance. Eventually he found Yuurei at the training ground. He landed upon the sandy floor before Yuurei who sat upon the log post, "Morning" he grumbled.

Yuurei kept a watch on the young man as it seemed like he was training and going over what he was going to do tonight. It seemed like there was a lot going on in his mind, and Yuurei shook his head. He didn’t understand what was so hard with abiding by the rules here. It wasn’t hard and he found it fair. The Kage gave them enough freedom for them to do a lot of things within the village, so he couldn’t put himself in the same shoes as this man. Instead, his body would turn to look at him as he kept his chakra sensory intact to make sure that he couldn’t escape from his sight. He was hoping that Gin would be able to hurry upon his arrival, but that wasn’t the case.

Still, he was able to scout their target right now, and he could see what he was good at. While waiting he could see that the man would be able to use Katon and that he was skilled at Taijutsu from where he had stood. Yuurei’s never moved from the log post he was on as he didn’t want to alarm him by getting closer. Soon enough, another nice amount of chakra would appear, and it would seem like Gin would finally make his arrival. Yuurei’s eyes would turn to his older friend as he had greeted him.

“Morning Gin. See you’re late as usual. I guess you had something important to do rather than training?” He asked him as he pushed himself off up and off the log post.

He would land on the ground as he would have a smile on his face as he approached Gin until they were close enough to whisper.

“We won’t be training today. Well, at least not with each other.” He paused for a second to see if that chakra he sensed was closer to them than before.

When he noticed that they were in the clear, Yuurei would whisper again to Gin.

“We are going to capture someone in this training ground with us right now. I heard him speaking to himself about leaving the village. I for one won’t allow anybody to leave this village without permission from our Kage. We will take him in and get rewarded for stopping someone from possibly betraying our village. So are you fine with that?” He asked Gin wondering what he would say or do at this moment.

Yuurei would step away from him at this point as he turned in the direction where the young man was and started heading towards him. When he got to the location, the man in question would turn around when he felt the chakra of the boy get closer to him. He would be on guard, but when he noticed that height and age of how the boy looked he smiled at him.

“Hello there how could I help you today?” He said to Yuurei wondering what he would say.

“Me and my friend came here to train today and I was wondering if you could help us with our training today. We are trying to better ourselves as ninjas and would like some help with that.” He asked him wondering what he would say to both of them.

“I guess we could do a little sparring, and possibly I can give you some tips and stuff. Whenever you want we can begin.” He would say this as he would put a seal of confrontation as he waited for Yuurei to do the same thing.

Yuurei would keep the smile on his face as he would look at this man and he would see that he didn’t suspect anything right now. That was good because he knew what they needed to do right now. He would kindly do a seal of confrontation, but wouldn’t attack as he waited for Gin to be ready as well.

"It seems fate doesn't enjoy the idea of me having a good attendance." Gin wasn't embarrassed but mainly annoyed, he had hoped he wouldn't have to deal with such bad luck when it came down to a mission, otherwise his timing would probably be a death sentence for either him and/or Yuurei. When Gin heard they wouldn't be training, he was going to ask why until Yuurei cut him off to explain the situation.

That exact moment, Gin held his position, as if tightening his body, he did his best to resist the need to turn his head about, wanting to look for the traitor, but he couldn't recall seeing anybody upon entering the training ground, albeit, his focus was solely on Yuurei. "I agree with you, however we should come up with a plan and time" he told Yuurei, he was going to suggest a time, but they were interrupted by another person. Noticing the headband upon the boy, Gin began wondering if this was the boy Yuurei was talking. Taking a look about and seeing no one else, he concluded this must be the target.

Yuurei asked the boy to spar with them, Gin knowing that Yuurei knew that he never enjoyed the idea of being dragged into social circle without a heads-up, and with the crucial information Yuurei supplied, there would be no way he would start a sparring match with a stranger without that a reason. Gin gave a half-smile to the boy and a nod. He took several steps back, every so often looking towards Yuurei's direction.

Yuurei would see that Gin had moved back from him, and it seemed like he knew what was going to happen. This was good and with the confrontation seal placed, both of them would get into a fighting stance. The Uchiha would close his eyes for a second and opened them up as his eyes would become different. The man would see this and he was surprised that he was going to fight one of those right now. This was interesting indeed, and he would make the first move as he would rush straight towards Yuurei. The Genin would take out his Kunai in this instant as he was a weapon fighter, and now a taijutsu specialist. He could see that the guy was close to him, and he would swing his kunai towards the ninja.

He was quick on his feet and he would see that the man would move his head to the right to dodge the attack, and he would follow up with roundhouse kick from Yuurei’s right. He would see this happening and he would jump back to avoid the attack as he would skid on the ground as he would look at the man in front of him. It was then that he could see that a Kunai was being thrown at him, and he could only shake his head as he deflected the kunai with his own. While doing that Yuurei would grab another Kunai as he would toss it straight towards the man. The man would see the speed on that throw and he would barely dodge it as he could feel pain from the graze of the kunai.

“Not bad. You sure you need me to teach you anything?” He would ask Yuurei as he was a bit confused on the matter.

“Yes, I do I’m sure you haven’t been giving it your all. I’m here going all out from the start.” He said to the ninja.

He would look over to Gin wondering if he would come and join them. His eyes looked at Gin, and then back to Yuurei as he was getting ready to attack in a second.

“I thought it was going to be two on one, so when does he join. When he joins I will go all out.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei laughed a bit as he would just look at him and then to Gin, and then back to him.

“He will join soon. I think he was looking for an opportunity so be careful.” He said as he started running straight towards the ninja in front of him.

When he got close to him, he would throw the kunai straight towards the man, and when he did that, his left hand would grab the katana and unsheathe without hesitation as he would swing it at the man in front of him. Of course, he was holding back as he didn’t use any of his jutsus as of yet. The man would dodge the kunai and then when he saw the katana he could see that he couldn’t hold back against this person. Yuurei had grazed him once again as he would rip his shirt and he would start to bleed from the attack.

He would shake his head as it was time to get serious.

It wasn't long before the "sparring match" started. Yuurei immediately started with opening his sharingan. To come off so strong, the only reason was because this ninja they met had to be the traitor. They soon exchanged weapon throws, such precision and determination from both sides told Gin to watch his step, that every move will have to be placed like chess. The traitor pointed out Gin's hesitation and the ninja replied with a smile, "I like to play chess" short and dumb answer, regardless if this person was seen as an ally or enemy, socializing is always a pain to Gin, nevetheless, he had to play dumb, the element of surprise was on his and Yuurei's side, and they needed to use it to their advantage, up until the last moment.

Gin pulled out a kunai, then quickly moved, circling around the two other ninjas the moment they got close enough to one another. Once Yuurei pulled out his katana, Gin got to desired position, on the traitor's other side, now Gin and Yuurei were flanking their sparring buddy.

"This may be 'check'" the traitor said, slightly smiling. Gin took advantage and moved in, slashing with his kunai, but the enemy pulled out another kunai and deflected Gin's, his strength was good enough to throw Gin off his balance before delivering a swift kick to the stomach and sending the medic flying back 2 meters, all the while, he formed seals with one hand, he then used the force of his own kick to propel him to spin, then took a deep breath and exhaled a blast of wind that whipped out towards Yuurei, the gust spun and gathered sand, now a small sand tornado was made, spinning like a top and heading towards Yuurei, "Wind Style: Dust Devil Jutsu".

Gin tumbled but got to his feet, he was amazed by the power of this guy's ninjutsu, this task seems to be harder than he had expected.

Yuurei would see what he had done with Gin as he had gotten him away from him, but while he was close, it would seem like things were getting interesting. He could see the tornado coming, but it caught him by surprise that he didn’t have enough time to avoid it. He would instead cover himself as he was blown away from the attack as he would be lifted into the air as well. When he got about a ten meters away from this ninja, he would flip a few times to land safely onto the ground as he would look over to the man he and Gin were fighting with. The Uchiha would cough up a bit of blood, but he would also notice that he had wounds on his arms and legs from trying to block the attack.

This brought him to crack his neck a bit as he started laughing as he had got wounded once again. This guy had some strong attacks from what he could tell, and that meant things would be entertaining. Yuurei would switch the katana into his right hand as he had tossed it into the air and when he caught it he rushed straight towards the traitor. He would swing his blade down on the man once again, but this time instead of being grazed by the attack, he would dodge it completely. This was interesting as Yuurei’s eyes would follow the man as he would see where he was going. He was getting ready to do something as Yuurei could see that he was performing hand seals again.

Instead, of allowing him to finish, he would shoot out a senbon from his mouth that would be tossed much faster than if he was holding it in his hand. The ninja’s eyes would open when he saw the attack coming, and he would do this his best to dodge the attack but saw it was too close to dodge, so he moved his arm to block the attack. He could feel the senbon pierce through his skin and he would shout in pain as it stopped him from performing hand seals. This allowed him to get closer to him, and when he was ready to slice through the man again, he would be hit with something. He got cocky, and he let his eyes off the man, and he had done a sweep with his leg.

“Sweeping Sand.” He said this as Yuurei would look at the ground as he was going to drop.

The ninja would pick himself up as he would continue his attack as he would spin around before thrusting his kick right into Yuurei’s gut.

“Wind Style: Blow Back.” He said this as a huge wind would pick up with the kick as Yuurei would fly back as he would hit the ground and roll on the ground a bit.

The Genin had giggled a bit as he was on the ground as he coughed out more blood. This was fun, it was amazing, but it was time to get serious. He found prey worth cutting up, and he couldn’t help it. Yuurei started getting up from the ground as he was shaking from his legs as he was looking at the guy he was so call sparring with.

“I think we should stop, I think I went a little too far.” He said as he looked at Yuurei.

“Stop? Hell no! I’m just getting started. Let’s continue, I will be coming at you, so prepare yourself.” He said to the man as he took in a big deep breath as he prepared to take him on with everything that he was.

As Gin looked up, Yuurei had crossed the distance between himself and the foe, nearly delivering a swift swipe of his blade, but ultimately missed. The two exchanged attacks before Yuurei was blown back again. Seeing him actually having some difficulty sent a shiver up Gin's spine, he couldn't hold back now; if the traitor believe this to be a actual sparring match, then he was holding back; the only thing that was keeping either Yuurei or himself from being dealt a every and maybe even fatal blow was this element of surprise, and Gin had to use it now before anything.

Gin pulled out a smoke bomb and slammed it onto the sandy floor below him. Smoke erupted and enveloped him, hiding him within; he then quickly formed seals and conjured three clones within the smoke, then sent a shuriken flying out of his cover, however the other genin quickly deflected it with his kunai, he was expecting such a tactic, such a move is used as an example in the academy.

One of the Gin clones ran out of the smoke and dashed towards the traitor with a kunai in hand. "You need more practice" the traitor genin chuckled, seeing Gin running at it, he then moved his kunai to deflect the incoming kunai, but the moment his phased through Gin's kunai, he realized that this Gin was an illusion and a distraction; another shuriken flew out of the smoke and headed his way, "tch!" his first moment of annoyance as he completely shifted his body for his right hand to quickly pull out another kunai and deflect the incoming shuriken.

"Damn!" the genin realized GIn's intention, he didn't intend on landing a hit, just forcing him to move his body in a way so that his entire back is exposed to Yuurei.

Within the smoke, Gin crossed his fingers, hoping his plan went through, for he was relying on sound now while the smoke continued to cover himself.

Yuurei would see that Gin would go on with an attack of his own instead, and he would smile when he saw the smoke bomb going being used. This was good, and it caught the attention of the man they were fighting. He would watch the smoke and soon enough he could see things unfold. He remembered Gin using this on him, and it wouldn’t take long before the man would turn to face towards Gin. He decided it was time to use a technique that would take him out of his misery. Well, his hand shook because he had to hold back and make sure that he didn’t kill him. Still, he had to do something that would make sure that this guy couldn’t escape. Still, with his back turned against him, Yuurei figured that it was time and throw one his powerful jutsus on him.

“Sacred Spear.” Yuurei would whisper this as he would reach his hand out with his katana towards the spine of the traitor.

A condense amount of chakra would mimic the sword that he would be holding as it would shoot straight towards him at an amazing speed. The Genin they were fighting would notice that there was an enormous amount of chakra being sent his way, but before he could do anything, he could feel himself being pierced right in his spine. He had to make sure that he didn’t kill the man, but had to make sure that he wouldn’t allow him to walk for the time being or ever in this sense. The young man would turn his head towards Yuurei as he was shocked by the pain and power that came from him.

Yuurei would only smile at him as the blade would return back to its normal form. The man would drop to his knees as he would lay on the ground as he was losing consciousness.

“I thought you wanted me to teach you stuff. What was tha…” He would stop talking as he couldn’t take the pain from that attack.

Yuurei would look at Gin, and he would rush towards him.

“Stabilize and we will take him where we need to take him. The quicker we do that, they will pry the information out of him and see that he was trying to leave, and we will get rewarded for it. I did do my best not to kill him.” He said to gin as he was really trying not to kill him even though he wanted to.
