Seeking Advice (IO, NK)

Kiryu was relieved that his mentor seemed to agree with him that the Hogokage had used some questionable methods at least, even if she didn’t want to continue talking about the subject. Her willingness to oblige him in training was a welcome subject change, however. That was something that would be to his benefit no matter who he had to defend against.
 
The Genin offered a slight bow to Tsubaki. ”I would be honored.” He rose back to standing upright and looked at her before glancing down slightly awkwardly. ”Well, I think I’ve taken up enough of your time today. I appreciate you hearing me out, and I promise I’ll work hard to be a student you can be proud of.” With that, Kiryu made his exit from Tsubaki’s house and began the trek home. He had a lot to think about.

Tsubaki continued to stay seated as Kiryu would rise and start going out the door. He explained as he left that he would want to work hard at becoming a better student that she would be proud of. Tsubaki smiled and nodded to the boy, "I'm here whenever you need me." She would take a sip of her tea as he exited her home. Tsubaki didn't think that the boy would let her down, he had yet to do so anyway.
