Challenging Fates (Mission, Hunter)

Vergil had been planning for something to do as he steadily walked towards the ninja. He either wanted to tell him to surrender, use a technique, perhaps draw his blade cut his opponent down. All this time, however, his slow actions would cause the other ninja to act first as they decided to pull out from their pouch the weapon they had intended to use against Vergil earlier. 'Now he intends to use that?' he thought as, while he was still two meters away, the ninja decided to let the kunai loose in his direction before it immediately exploded upon leaving the ninja's hand. Vergil, having seen the throw coming, hopped back into the open clearing for about three meters as the explosion would be too far away to reach him. His opponent, however, wouldn't be so lucky as, apparently unbeknownst to the shinobi, there was a thick tree, about three meters in width, directly behind him which prevented him from being able to hop directly back and away from his own explosion. He would thus be caught in the fiery destruction of his own making, his body becoming vaporized by the flames, as Vergil watched in slight astonishment.

He watched the smoke clear as the only things remaining of the ninja would be pieces of fabric from their clothes and bits of blood and fleshy bones. 'A suicide move? Hmm...' he thought to himself as he relaxed the grip he had on his Yamato and sighed. His contractors wouldn't be happy about this as he adjusted the collar of his vest and walked out of the clearing in the direction of the Leaf Village.

Daiki was in a new place that was sure, but he was able to tell when there was a tree directly behind him. As soon as he would loose the kunai from his hand , his body would already be on the move to begetting out of the way of the blast to come. Due to the speed of both Daiki going in one direction, to the left side of his original position at a diagonal, he would also not run into any trees or anything of the sort when traveling at the diagonal. With speed of the kunai traveling directly for the tree dweller, Daiki’s right hand would be caught in the blast. While the pain would be excruciating, he would use the smoke created as a cover for the next phase of his attack, so even the Sharingan wouldn’t be able to see it. He would throw three shuriken. One directly for the tree dweller and the other two about 1 meter to his right and to his left. 

The motion of throwing the shuriken would be immediately after the explosion from the explosive tag. Daiki grabbed a kunai while grabbing the shuriken, but he would hold onto the kunai knife, and it was already strapped with an explosive tag. He would then use this to throw at the tree dweller no matter the direction that he would choose to dodge the first three projectiles. The kunai with exploding tag would be throw immediately after any counter move would be attempted by the tree dweller.

Vergil was on the verge of jumping back from the explosion as he watched the flames within the smoke dying out. As he was watching, however, he noticed three fast moving objects pop out of the smoke as one was coming directly for him while the others traveled towards completely different directions. Since his left hand had been up slightly during his jump he would bring his still sheathed Yamato up in order to block and deflect the one shuriken that was coming towards him. This would cause the shuriken to bounce and fall to the ground as the other two continued to fly past him and sink their steel into faraway trees.

As soon as he deflected the shuriken and allowed the other shuriken to continue their path he would bring his right hand up to his left and form a ram seal as chakra formed around his feet and he planted one of his feet on the ground in order to move rapidly and directly away from his opponent's position into the far end of the clearing, after having made certain he planned the trajectory perfectly enough to not run right into any obstacles, as he would stop with his back to a tree 10 meters away from the clearing's circle. This would be done before the explosive kunai the ninja had thrown in his direction would be able to be set off or get anywhere near him. He would also move ten meters to his left at his normal speed, dodging any and all trees that happened to be in his way, in case the incoming kunai managed to fly all the way to his new position. Now that he was at a safe distance Vergil was planning the best course of action to take as he looked into the clearing to find the ninja's right hand was missing from their first kunai toss. Blood was dripping from their wound as Vergil shook his head. 'This guy is annoying. Is throwing paper bombs all he knows how to do?'

He thought this as he turned and walked away through the forest, passing by all the trees, heading in the direction of the Leaf village. 'Either way I think this ninja is best to be left to professionals. I'll make a report to my superiors so that they can take care of him.' He would keep his guard up as he walked further and further away from the conflict in case the ninja tried to get him with a cheap shot of some kind. If he was uninterrupted he'd walk all the way back to his village.

Daiki watched as the ninja ran away from him. Even though his arm was gone, he was still able to laugh at the idea of such a high level ninja of the leaf would run from a scrawny kid with a second hand katana.
