Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open] - Page 2 Empty Re: Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open]

Sun Jun 24, 2018 2:50 pm
Well, he was just so popular, especially among the girls. The man can’t help that he’s an absolute legend among the Cloud. “His… body?” the ‘specimen’ inquired. “I’m afraid I don’t know what you mean,” she said through an awkward smile. Although she was rather shocked to hear that he had a twin, though she did her best to contain her surprise. The girl did and said all of this as she walked alongside him to a nearby training ground.

Kay was excited to learn jutsu and stuff, although she was disappointed she could not gun for the stronger stuff off the bat. If Max was a specialist in ninjutsu, this might have been better, although she was not sure if she would have been able to learn anything at all. Still, she was grateful that he was taking time out of his day to teach her some basics. It was rather frustrating to have to start from the beginning, without the ability to do all of the fun stuff until later. Patience is a virtue and all that jazz.

The less than five foot tall girl who weighed less than 100 lbs would listen to Max as he spoke, not quite understanding what he meant by it being specifically useful to her. Rat and Dog. Simple enough. She kept quiet with her attention focused on what Max was doing. She had never attended the shinobi academy like most other ninja in the village, instead teaching herself in her spare time as a servant when no one was around to see her, so her handseal skills were a bit rusty. As he explained the jutsu, she started feeling around in her pockets for something to make vanish before eventually deciding on the ole’ reliable kunai. She tossed it in her hand once for good measure, grasping the handle with the blade pointed outwards in order to attack Max if he tried taking her DNA.

Kidding. Instead, she would follow his instructions, placing her right hand over the two extended index and middle fingers of her left hand, her small delicate fingers wrapping around her opposite hand. Rat. She would then somewhat awkwardly transition into the dog handseal, which consisted of making a fist with her right hand and covering it with her flattened left hand. It was a simple enough jutsu, especially for someone like her who had exorbitant levels of chakra despite her lack of any remote experience. Focus on making an object disappear. She muttered his words underneath her breath, as she had developed a habit of doing so. -picture the carried object in your mind-” she quietly said as she did so, the sharp edges of the kunai appearing in her mind, the bandage wrapped handle, the small loop at the end of the hilt, and the diamond shape of the blade. “-imagine it being placed in a portal-” Within her mental scape, she imagined herself moving the ninja tool into a relatively simple cardboard box. It was not the most imaginative effort, but it was effort nonetheless.

The object should vanish in a flash of particles. This part she did not say aloud, but rather the voice of the chuunin echoed through her head as she watched the effect of the jutsu before her. The kunai that she had been holding began to dissipate rather quickly, at least to the girl, into a mass of particles at a relatively slow speed of 65, which Max would have no remote problem keeping up with. Kay just had no actual speed to speak of, as she was currently rocking a solid 5. The sheer amount of chakra she possessed had so far allowed her to learn techniques that were taught to her, particularly lower ones, with relative ease. Her eyes brightened and her smile widened as the particles faded away into nothingness, before turning towards the teacher who was younger than she was. “How was that?” she would ask in an innocent way, meaning she was not actively seeking praise unlike some certain *other* shinobi.

Max would watch and take mental notes as Kay managed to control her chakra and utilize the space and time technique. That particular style of jutsu was such an unfamiliar concept for Max. He was more in tune with how the body works, and how to best utilize those functions. The manipulation of space and time was such a hard concept to wrap ones head around.

The kunai would vanish with a flash of particles and Kay would be successful in her attempt at using the jutsu. “Ah, nice work. It is a bit of a strange concept, but once you get the hang of it things tend to go a lot smoother, almost to the point where you won’t have to think about it and can just perform it as second nature.” Max would say, his smile beaming at the student’s aptitude. It seemed as though the new genin that were showing up in the village ended up being a good batch, each quite capable of impressive chakra control and technique mastery in a short period of time.

“So, moving on to the next technique. Temporary Paralysis Jutsu is an incredibly valuable tool in ones arsenal. It uses your chakra to bind your opponent’s body up, locking them in place and preventing movement. As I’m sure you are aware, an opponent that cannot move is an opponent that will quickly be dispatched.” Max would say this while forming the Tiger hand seal. Only a single seal and a rush of chakra could completely disable an opponent. “Focus the chakra and imagine it locking the target in place.” Max would say this as he allows himself to be the “training dummy” for this jutsu.

Following up on the storage displacement technique came a more offensive one, one that would prove more useful in her arsenal. After all, she wanted. No, she needed to become stronger. Although this was not necessarily her idea of fighting.

“So, moving on to the next technique. Temporary Paralysis Jutsu is an incredibly valuable tool in ones arsenal. It uses your chakra to bind your opponent’s body up, locking them in place and preventing movement. As I’m sure you are aware, an opponent that cannot move is an opponent that will quickly be dispatched.”

Kay shrugged at this gesture. “This seems like it could come in handy in a pinch, but I’d rather it be a last resort.” Kay looked at her hands, trying to figure out the proper seal that Max just told her to use. “I feel like having to cripple an enemy in order to beat them is for cowards.” She said this with a fire in her eyes, a more determined look showing up on her face. It felt as though the more she trained herself, the more confident she was becoming. Becoming who she was meant to be.

Tiger.

Chakra flowed outwards from her body, through the air and towards her ‘opponent’. The jutsu would hold a power of 20 from her rather exorbitant amount of chakra. She would wait to see Max’s reaction before continuing.

Kay would speak up in regards to the technique, calling it cowardly. Max would take a mental note of this behavior, internally questioning where such was coming from. Part of him of him wanted to hold his tongue, not saying anything as folks were entitled to their own opinions, but then he remembers that being a Chuunin has a responsibility to the village to help the Genin grow and teach them.

“You say that is it cowardly to incapacitate your opponent? How so? An incapacitated target is much less of a threat, and this technique in particular can completely remove someone from combat while avoiding killing them outright or even maiming them. A crippled opponent is one that is far less likely to fight back, and as a shinobi you should know that there are going to be people out there that seek your demise. They will come at you with intent to kill. If crippling an opponent is needed to survive and come out the victor, so be it. Thinking anything else only puts you at risk, as you may hesitate when it matters most.” The boy would take a breath, allowing his words to settle in the mind of his Genin elder.

“If the opponent allows themselves to be crippled in the first place, they have already likely lost in a match of skill. I was shown such firsthand,” Max would say as he raised his metal arm, his attempt at making it clear to her. “Your enemies won’t hesitate to cripple you in order to come out the victor. While your sense of pride may get in the way, I want you to at least think about that before you dismiss such a tactic.” His voice was that of a child, but there was a firmness to the soft voice of Max. He hoped that she wouldn’t have to learn such lessons from firsthand experience as many have.

Her chakra would flare, the Tiger seal clearly formed. The chakra would immediately bind young Max with its forceful might, preventing his movements. “You have done well.” He would say, praising her success. “Now that you seem to have that down, what else did you wish to learn today?”

Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open] - Page 2 Empty Re: Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open]

Max thought the opposite. Interesting. “I’d rather fighting be like what happened in the Black Games. He didn’t work to freeze his opponent or cripple her in some way in order to win the fight. He won from his skills alone,” she spoke with a determined tone, conveying that this was what she believed as well. “It just doesn’t seem like a fair fight if the only way you can win is by taking away the other’s skill. Where’s the fun in that?” She had barely gotten the words out, when Max raised his arm, which seemed to grab her spirit and yank it away from her. “Your enemies won’t hesitate to cripple you in order to come out the victor. While your sense of pride may get in the way, I want you to at least think about that before you dismiss such a tactic.”

She sighed, breathing heavily out of her nose. Speaking quietly, she muttered under her breath, If the only way to win is to be dishonorable, then what’s the point of winning… Nonetheless, Max had a point that she disagreed with, even if it was still a valid one. After successfully performing the jutsu, she thought to herself once more, I guess while I’m here, I might as well keep learning some more. She thought to herself for a moment, coming up blank. “What strikes you as necessities for shinobi? Techniques that are a must have?” she asked Max, who might be able to suggest Body Flicker or Gen Release or something that happens to be extremely viable for combat, or even just something simple like chakra sensory.

Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open] - Page 2 Empty Re: Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open]

Max would feel the binding effect of the jutsu fade slowly, his control over his own body returning. Kay seemed to have issue with what Max said, but he simply needed to make sure she was aware of such a thing. It was his job to inform people, not force them to act upon such a thing. Her feelings towards such tactics were reasonable. They had a certain naiveté that came with the idea that fighting and combat were glorious things that were fair and just. Combat for sport, like in the Gladiator Games that she witnessed typically weren’t the same as in a real life or death situation. When your life is on the line, a wise shinobi utilizes all tools and advantages to come out the victor. But, she would likely learn in time. She was still young, which was a strange thing for Max to think when one considers his own age.

What were some key jutsu? “Well, you could learn Genjutsu Release. That is a technique that is absolutely key in combat, since once you are caught in a genjutsu it can be rather difficult to overcome if you are unable to break it.” He would scratch at his head, allowing himself a moment to ponder what else would be good for her to have. “I guess there is also the Body Flicker technique. It can be useful at times, though it can also be dangerous if you aren’t careful.”

Max would start with Genjutsu Release, telling her how to do so. “You start by making the Tiger hand seal, then you focus your chakra to floor your system. I generally imagine glass breaking when I use the jutsu. It symbolizes the shattering of an illusion and helps me focus fully on destroying the genjutsu. Such isn’t needed, but it may help. I hope you are ready,” Max would say as he forms the Ram hand seal. He would then activate Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique by pouring his chakra into the vicinity.

The whole area would twist and shift, everything around them on fire and in ruins. A large image of the titanic Kurama would stand firmly in the background, snarling and destroying everything in its path, the orange fox nigh unstoppable. After destroying what looks to be a hospital of some sort, its gaze would then fall on the small girl now standing in a field alone, with nobody else around her to keep her safe from its wrath. It would move in closer, slowly as to savor the thrill of the destruction in its wake. Nobody dared stand against its might, and it now found yet another plaything to torment before ending her miserable life. The aura of malice and hate emanating off of the creature was enough to bring knees to a quiver and one may find themselves unable to control all of their bodily functions. What did this little girl think she was capable of when face to face with such a fearsome creature?

Assuming the she manages to break out of the genjutsu Max would smile and then move to the next lesson. “So Body Flicker energizes your body by flowing more chakra to your extremities. This allows one to move much faster than normal, although in a fairly straight path.” Max would then form the Ram hand seal and begin allowing his legs to feel the invigoration of several times their regular chakra limits. Max would then shift in position near instantly, far too quickly for Kay to notice at all. He would tap her on the shoulder from right behind her right hand side. “See, like that. Just be careful not to accidentally hit any walls.”

Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open] - Page 2 Empty Re: Leave My Kidneys Alone [Open]

Well, it would seem as if Kay was not able to break out of the Genjutsu. A shame really, as someone with her raw natural talent would be the kind of shinobi he expected to advance quickly above her peers. Although he still wasn't sure exactly why it was she was so much more advanced in her chakra than her peers. Perhaps... A unique genetic trait?

The thought of unlocking the secrets that made this young shinobi tick sent a shiver down his spine. He couldn't just delve into her genetic structure to find out for sure, as she was a shinobi of Kumo. Such a shame... really...

"Max, why don't you simply take a bit. She wouldn't notice a small injury, this I am sure of." The clone within would say, tempting the boy. It wasn't going to be hard to push young Max to do this, as he was already teetering on the edge. All it would take would be a slight shove, one that Napa was happy to provide.

Max would take one of his syringes out while she was mentally overwhelmed from the horrors she saw. "This won't hurt a bit. Lets see if this will be enough for me to test. All in the name of advancing my studies. No hard feelings, of course." A single vial of blood would be drawn and stored in Max's pouch for study later.

Before leaving he would use the Genjutsu Release on her, allowing her to regain her senses completely. “Bye,” Max would say as he left the area in search of a proper meal.
