Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Wed Feb 21, 2018 1:08 pm
A full frontal attack may not of been the best idea Tsume has had. The Chokyoshi got smacked with Miya's close line. On top of that, the heavy weighted boulder on him, rending him immobile. Tsume just watches as Miya then turns his back. "Rude, you'll regret turning your back now that I know you can heal." He joked.

Hakucho was now on his own, but he wasn't worried. Miya was focused on Cole, leaving Hakucho alone. Even if they were to attack Hakucho, he ruled the sky, an attack on Hakucho was risky. Hakucho, would just watch the battle for now, resting his energy. Tsume was forcing into resting, which wasn't entirely bad as now he could increase his chakra while Cole and Miya fought it out.

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Cole stood there and watched the exchange between Tsume and Miyamoto. Tsume wound up laying on the ground unable to move. Cole noticed that Tsume had cut Miyamoto and Miyamoto had healed. This meant that Miyamoto was skilled in medical jutsu as well as ninjutsu. Miyamoto turned and looked at cole while Tsume laid on the ground and said something that cole couldn’t really make out what he had said.

Miyamoto asked Cole if he was still good to go, and Cole looked at him and said that he was just getting started and was ready to keep going if he was up for it. Cole would wait for Miyamoto to answer while keeping his guard up in case Miyamoto attacked. If Miyamoto was still ready to go then go would get down into his fighting stance and get ready to strike or counter strike.

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Thu Feb 22, 2018 7:24 pm
Miyamoto heard Cole's agreement to continue well as he smiled at the boy.  It was time to finish their game of tag.  He was getting exhausted from all of this, but he was definitely learning something about himself, his chakra was beginning to feel more uniform inside his body.  It no longer felt as if he was going to burst with energy at any second.  He was reminded of when he first began to use the techniques of his family, learning them alongside his friend Ayato...he wondered where that shinobi ran off to, but that was neither here nor there as he remembered also being overcome by his own power at one point and time.  He had almost burned down a section of the wildlife reserve.  He had also had many encounters with the dormant energy that caused him to boil a stream killing a small ecosystem, and even letting his power explode out of him when he learned how to use the Temple of Hephaestus technique.

He was thinking in that moment of just what he would do, did his abilities allow him the power to fight continuously without recourse like this?  Of course not, but he was going to fight till he could not fight anymore.  With his top speed, He made just a simple Tiger handseal as at the speed of 175 a dense fog filled the area up to 50 meters radius including above them, enveloping Haku as well.  He canceled the Temple technique as he moved at a speed of 115, suppressing his chakra he would begin to move towards where Cole was.  The mist kept him hidden as his footsteps were silent...unnaturaly so.

His intent was to get close enough to Cole to get behind him to use the Body Pathway Derangement technique with a power of 85 To try and incapacitate him  He would track Cole using his Chakra Sensory so that he would be stalking him.  Only changing tactics if and when Cole caught him.

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Sun Feb 25, 2018 2:43 pm
The battle was to continue as Cole argreed to go on. Tsume was building chakra still and watching as much as he could. Of course, then Miya activated the hidden mist jutsu, blinding Tsume from watching further. Haku was still in the spar however, so when the fog enveloped. The good thing about Haku was that he didn't have his own chakra reserve, so chakra sensory wouldn't work on him. So while Miya was hunting down Cole with chakra sensory, like a predator hunting his meal, Haku was able to escape unnoticed at his max speed.

Now Haku was 50 meters away from the battle, above the fog cloud. He would wait for either the fog to fad or their sensei to appear from the cloud. Either way. Miya was screwed. He was running off a lot of chakra and Tsume and Haku weren't about to let Miya win.

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Sun Feb 25, 2018 7:46 pm
Cole watched as Miyamoto smiled at him before making some crazy fast hand signs. It was pretty fast that the fog rolled in, and it was thick as hell cole hadn’t seen a fog this quick his whole life. Cole looked around and couldn’t see very far at all he waved his hands in front of him. Well, atleast I can see my hand he thought to himself as he tried to come up with some way to either get rid of the fog or to use it to his advantage. He didn’t know if Miyamoto could tell where he was in the fog or not, so he had to do something quick and then it hit him. Cole quickly made a single hand sign before biting the tip of his thumb and slamming the palm of his hand down on the ground. He could see the summoning symbol spread out from his hand has puffs of smoke appeared. At Least cole knew that they did he just couldn’t tell from the fog.

After the puffs of smoke cole stood now 10 feet in the air on the back of a giant scorpion. He called the scorpion Shingui, and he was a big black scorpion that was one of the leaders of the race. His body was scarred from countless battles and he was missing the tip of his tail. Next to him stood a smaller Scorpion by comparison but still a big Scorpion standing 8 feet tall. He was called Kajiun and was slimmer than his counterpart but could easily tell that he was just as deadly.

Cole would yell “Kajiun, Shingui find Miyamoto and take him down but don’t kill.” The 2 Scorpion both would turn and look in the direction that Miyamoto was at being able to sense his footsteps on the grounds. Shingui would charge at his max speed of 75 at Miyamoto and swing a giant Pincer at the location that Miyamoto should be at. Shingui used cole as a measure of height and would aim to hit at Miyamoto’s chest with the back of the pincer.

Meanwhile, Kajiun would use his Burrow jutsu to send his tail out under the ground where it would grow to its full length of 20 meters and come up behind Miyamoto's location aiming to land a toxic sting of the scorpion's tail into Miyamoto's right leg.

Cole would jump off of Shingui while he was charging at Miyamoto's location and run under him at the same speed as Shingui. When Miyamoto would come into sight cole would aim to land a right straight punch at Miyamoto’s left cheek. SPD 125 STR 50

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Wed Feb 28, 2018 7:05 pm
By the time Cole was done summoning, the damage was done, as he gave the order to find Miyamoto, he was already at his back.  As the scorpions moved to attach, he was already in the air and on the bigger ones back as Cole turned to punch.  Miyamoto used the Body Pathway Derangement as he only moved enough to see the attack and react to it by firing off a punch.  Once Miyamoto's Jutsu did its job, and Cole's punch connected, and fell over onto him Miyamoto laughed as he canceled the Hidden Mist as he and Cole would hit the ground.

"This game of tag is over, call off your very impressively sized friends, for now, Cole..."  Miyamoto would start off as he would also call out to Haku and Tsume as he would allow the added-weight technique to be canceled.
"You two kept me less than a breath away from a loss almost every second.  Congratulations, but the spar is over.  We have all just literally gotten out of a tournament only to start up a very aggravating, high stakes, yet fun game of tag."  He said with a laugh before looking at Cole.  If he desummoned the scorpions he would a help fix the numbness of the body pathway jutsu before standing up and offering a hand to Cole.
"Tsume, and Haku...you both showed a lot of speed, but the lack of strategy will always harm you...it did with me when having to fight a bird almost a quarter the size of the arena.  Keep it up though, you guys still have a lot more to do before becoming chuunin.
"Cole your raw talent is impecable, your chakra control is terrific, but you cant go it alone.  I would like to offer you a spot on our team.  Me Tsume, and Haku, and finally Satoru Naara.  You would complete the team and as far as you have all grown and shown me fighting styles of those destined to be great...it would not surprise me to see you all fighting to promote yourselves soon."

He said the last part with a smile before stretching if Cole took his hand and got up.  A yawn later and he would begin to walk towards the village square.  He was hungry.
"If you all want I will buy dinner, my treat.  After all, there is only so much you can do on an empty stomach."

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Hakucho watched the the fog still hover below him, only relaying on sound. Tsume had to do the same, as he was physically engulfed in the fog. Then Miya's voice would be heard and the fog was cleared. Cole was battered to the ground, at Miya's feet. Suddenly, the jutsu that Miya placed on Tsume was deactivated. Tsume stood up and sheathed his blade. Tsume sighed, no improvement was made. Hakucho landed on his shoulder after seeing the battle was now over.

"Tsume, and Haku...you both showed a lot of speed, but the lack of strategy will always harm you...you guys still have a lot more to do before becoming chuunin." Miya said to the Chokyoshi duo. It would of crushed them if they were in denial of their power, but they weren't. They knew that, and that's why they train. Tsume nodded at the advice.

Cole was offered to be on the team by Miya afterwards. Tsume hoped he accepted, he wanted to have a full group as much as Miya. They just needed one more genin after all, and Cole was really good.

Miya then offered to by them dinner, his treat. Tsume smiled, "It would be rude of me to say no." He chuckled after saying so and then followed Miya to the diner for the promise of food, Haku was especially happy for the food.

Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK) - Page 3 Empty Re: Importance of Failure (OPEN) (NK)

Wed Feb 28, 2018 11:28 pm
Cole was on top of shingui one minute giving them orders to find Miyamoto when the next thing he knew Miyamoto was behind him standing on the scorpion as well. Cole turned to land a punch square on Miyamoto’s jaw but at the same time, he felt him touch his chest and then he didn’t feel anything from the neck down. Taking a good bit of the power out of his punch the scorpions turned to still fight when cole let out a wait. He knew that the next thing shingui was going to do was buck the both of them off of his back, and with cole unable to move his body at the moment that would not end well for him. The Scorpions held off on their attack, and cole accepted MIyamotos hand in getting back up releasing cole from the jutsu.

Both Miyamoto and Cole jumped down off of the giant scorpions back. Cole turned and looked at the pair of them “thanks, guys but you guys can go back now. Tell Vilect I said hi” he would tell them as he turned back around to face Miyamoto. The two scorpions would give Cole a slight nod and vanish in a puff of smoke Tsume was also back up at this point and cole listened to Miyamoto tell him that he had great speed but needed to work on strategy more. He then turned and looked at cole telling him that his potential was astounding and that they would like to have him on the team since they were down a man and he couldn’t go at it alone forever. Cole thought it over for a moment before taking Miyamoto’s hand he had offered him with a firm shake.

Cole had never been on a team before and had never really had alleys that he could call on in times of need either. Sure he has had teammates before but this was going to be different. They would be going on missions regularly together, as well as growing as a ninja with each other. Cole wasn’t sure what to make of this but at the same time, he was excited to belong somewhere. Ever since his parents were killed he hadn’t really even tried to make friends he just kept working on getting stronger and learning new things, and spending more and more time in the basement of his parent's house that was left to him. He had Vilect the scorpions sage set up patrols around the house and basement to keep his work safe. Which that alone tells you how much time he had been spending down theirs. This would be a good thing and he knew it he would make these people his new family. Sure they would never replace his parents or the bond that he had built over the past few months with the scorpions, but they would help to take his mind of the loss just like the scorpions did. Plus it was possible that he could teach them as much as he could learn from them as well.

Miyamoto broke coles train of thought when he offered to buy them lunch. This could be where I start to make friends cole thought to himself as he followed both Tsume and Miyamoto.
