So much had happened in what felt like a very short period of time for the Nazar. In just a number of months both the villages he had been residing in were attacked by a foreign enemy and taken over. The first instance happened in Suna directly following the joint Jounin exams that had been held there for both Suna and Konoha to partake in. The exams had gone extremely well and had been very eventful, but the invasion of two men had drastically changed that. In the blink of an eye, quite literally, the Kazekage Koroshi Uchiha vanished from thin air and the village had been lost. Not only that, but the Hokage had also disappeared and no one knows why. The next in line for the succession as Kazekage took it upon himself to decide the fate of the village. And instead of fighting back against the invaders to defend their home, he chose the safe route and handed the village over to the enemy. Now Suna is no more and they've been assimilated into Kumo. At least those who did not seek refuge such as Kinzoku.
Those who fled and left in search of refuge could have gone wherever they wanted, although their options were very limited. Kinzoku had heard that some of them decided to go on their own to form a group of some sort though that had been all he knew. Other's like himself had decided to seek refuge in Konoha, Suna's one and only ally. Kinzoku had been one of those to seek refuge in Konoha and fortunately for him they had accepted him in with open arms. But it wasn't long until his new home had come under the same circumstances his old home had, the invasion of a foreign enemy. Although this one seemed a lot more deadly, having brought with them an entire army. It seemed like wherever Kinzoku went, trouble was not far behind him. This time they fought back instead of giving up right away though the outcome had been the same. The foreign enemy took over the targeted village. Only this time they did not force everyone to evacuate. No, rather Konoha would remain Konoha though under the rule of the Mizukage.
At lot had changed since Kinzoku first became a Suna Jounin and it made him wonder how a former Suna Shinobi he had known was doing. The last time they spoke he had mentioned how he would be going to Kumo to stay and protect someone, likely the one who had become Suna's leader however brief that was. That was quite some time ago and it was time for Kinzoku to take a little trip, away from the struggles of what had just happened and see how a friend was doing. Kinzoku found himself resting in a bed inside the Konoha hopsital. He had been here for quite a while, not sure of the exact length of time though it felt like forever. The medic ninja of Konoha worked tirelessly on his due to the severity of his wounds. His entire left arm had been shattered and rendered useless up to the shoulder. Along with that he had a few bruised and cracked ribs and likely a concussion to go along with it. Due to this, his recovery had taken quite some time even with the advanced medical skills of the ninja. What helped a lot with the pain and recover was mediation. As a Nazar mediation was a central part of Kinzoku's life. It helped him achieve a state of Enlightenment. It also helped him reach a state of mind where he could withstand the pain and help speed of the recovery process of his body. Kinzoku couldn't waste time laying in a hospital bed. There were things he needed to do, and it was about time he took a little trip. It had been a while since he had seen Nobunaga.
The Konoha medics urged the Nazar to remain in the hospital as he had no fully recovered yet. But he couldn't spend any more time in this place. They had done a phenomenal job in repairing the damage that had been done. Getting dressed, the Nazar draped himself in his usual attire. Black boots, black pants, black shirt with a black vest over that topped off with a large black coat over it all. To finish it off he wore a black hat which contained the symbol of his clan in the center of the hat. Pushing back his long brown hair, he gently placed the hat on top of his head adjusting it to be as comfortable as possible. His fight with Aryll not only forced him to receive extensive medical care, but it also forced him to have to go out and find a new shirt, coat and hat. His old ones had been turned to dust during their fight as a result of having his own jutsu shot back at him. Looking back at the fight Kinzoku knew there were a lot of mistakes made which he could learn from. But he had enjoyed in nonetheless, especially being able to witness how amazing the large robot had been.
Last but not least the Nazar picked up his most prized possession, his crossbow known as Peacemaker. Using it's magnetic contraption Kinzoku place it onto his back as it stuck there. Swinging his left arm in circles as to test it and his shoulder out, the Nazar made his way out of the hospital and eventually past the Konoha boarders. He informed the lookout guards, some Konoha ninja and some Kiri ninja, that he was taking a little trip to see a friend which wouldn't last more than a couple of weeks. After all he couldn't stay away from Konoha for too long. He had things which needed to be done, such as becoming a sensei. But that was for later. For now, Kinzoku reached into his pockets pulling out a cigar in one hand and a lighter in the other. Snipping off the tip of the cigar with his metal fingers, he lit the cigar before placing it into his mouth and taking his puffs. He began at a slow pace getting rid of the all the rust in his bones from laying in a bed for so long. It was only a matter of time before he had gotten to his full speed and was leaving the boarders of Konoha on his way to his destination, Kumo.
