The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic) - Page 2 Empty Re: The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic)

Fenrir couldn't see much of what was going on at the gate, nor did he care.  He knew that there had been some sort of conflict, and currently it appeared that the first to move was losing.  That didn't matter to Fenrir quite as much as what was going on between the two Kages.  It appeared that the very sight of Xyxer and his army had been enough to cause a full on surrender before the combat even started.  Red would speak in his mind, Well, that was boring.  It was in fact boring, but perhaps for the best.  While Kiri would have inevitably crushed the resistance that Konoha could muster, they would have had losses as well.  He would glance in the directions of Jinzu and Mors, the two genin he had intended to spar with, and his thoughts were confirmed.  Neither of them were very powerful, and while Mors claimed immortality, Fenrir had yet to see any substantial proof of it.  Along with this came the realization that Fenrir wasn't ready for this battle, and likely would have been little more than a distraction for the enemies while Shinobi who could actually do something killed them, most likely Xyxer.  Looking back at the two kages, he wondered on how they had become so strong.  Many Ninja could train for their entire lives and still only reach Chuunin, but these two had spend half that and were leading two of the greatest villages in the world.  It amazed Fenrir that anyone could reach such levels, and gave him more motivation to become equally powerful.  He wanted to be able to take a village with his sheer presence as well, but that goal was a bit high for now.  Since there would apparently be no battle, he would relax himself a bit, continuing to watch the event unfolding before him.

The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic) - Page 2 Empty Re: The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic)

Fortunately for Yazu the army before the gates was not a crowd of screaming hooligans but a rank and file line of hardened soldiers, which meant that the sound levels were not any higher than a dull roar.  Having already activated the sharingan before the attempted travel beyond the ANBU, he could react to anything despite it being in a spiffy leather sheathe. The movement uncharacteristic of the stone soldiers, the sound of the releasing on the clasp holding the blade in place both signals to the boy that he would not make it to the frontline unhindered, unfortunate too, since he would no longer get to be at the front of the theatre for a good show. Yazu would turn in reaction to the movement shifting the tightly packed group of soldiers spotting the hand as it drove the blade free from its sheathe, reactively Yazu would cover his body instantly in the blackened Earth spear,  following that action in only a fraction of a second the threads would exit from his skin beneath his pants flooding the area the blade would connect with a thick padding of threads blocking the blade from interaction with his tendons, they would also begin leaving through around his neck as Yazu could clearly see the direction the ANBU's right hand would be heading, it was disguised beneath his mask and would not be noticeable until he actually caught hold.  The blade would scrape through the hardened threads, painful sure, but not lethal, with Yazu standing nearly unharmed feigning injury.

The hand would clasp the neck and would be pierced 25 times by the 50 sharpness threads as they shot clean through the hand and began wrapping around the ANBU hand, as the red eyes penetrated beyond the mask making direct eye contact with the ANBU.  By the time the thought to toss Yazu would enter his head, Altar would have to realize he couldn't do so without shredding his own arm as they were woven deeply into the tissue.   Beneath the mask Yazu would grimace, memorizing the mask and noting this event instantly.  He knew he had made a mistake attempting to come through, but this man was willing to attack an ally while they were waiting in a crowd and break formation by throwing him.   The words would bleed out like a violent whisper, "Release me, and I will release you.  Your point is proven."  Having no issue with breathing since he was nearing completion of a technique that would make his own lungs obsolete.

The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic) - Page 2 Empty Re: The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic)

So it would begin. And so it would end.

The threads of the boy would fail to make any harmful impact to the young ANBU past wrist length, his threads poorly placed throughout and the armor protecting him. Rather, the young ANBU would continue through the pain, and bring the blade in his left hand upwards diagonally through the side of the boy, biting deep into the soft flesh still found there. After this, of course, the ANBU would release his grip on the child's throat. He knew of the child's bloodline. Choking him would be inconsequential. The child would feel an incredible pain and they would most likely be favoring their right side for a while, but by a miracle, he would survive. The young ANBU had taken precaution not to harm any meaningful areas of the child's thread body.

Of course, this would happen at the max allotted speed and at the exact moment Altar grabbed the boy's throat, the threads barely beginning to pierce his skin at that moment in time. If this action proved inconsequential to the boy, or he continued his daring attack on the ANBU, then Altar's actions would change.

If the thickheaded boy finally learned his lesson, med nin would rush forward to take and treat the boy, and treat Altar's hand, as it seemed he was preparing for a fight or something or other. Neat. Time for him to jet from this clusterfuck.

The lightning pulsed and ran down the surface of his skin, directly from the hand of the man in the bear mask.  The pain was excruciating but not lethal, Yazu could tell the man held back the assault as opposed to killing him outright.  Yazu figured it had to do with needing able bodies for the assault.  The white body went limp and the threads retracted, as Yazu collapsed from Altar's grasp.  His right hand would ignite in blue chakra and reach up to his neck and instantly begin healing the wound before the medical nin ever found their way over to them.  The jutsu previously active would be dispelled following the attacks while he would spend the remaining time healing his wounds and regaining his ap, from his proper place in the ranks.

It was time. Like the snakes they were, Konohagakure’s ninja couldn’t help themselves but to try and attack their leader while his guard was down. Thankfully, this was Xyxer himself, and Aryll knew it would be far harder than that to kill the man she called her friend. He hurled his kunai towards the man who had doomed them all, and with this, Aryll, or rather, Thane,  stepped forward. If the fool managed to survive this, she would make sure to secure the kill herself. The Abysswalker was not to be bothered with lowly, treacherous scum such as this.

And besides, this was her chance to win his approval. Aryll simply couldn’t dissappoint.

The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic) - Page 2 Empty Re: The Sudden Flood (Kirigakure Observation Topic)

Having recovered ap and wounds in the time it took for all of Konoha to come forward and kneel, and all of the conversing that seemed to occur, Yazu was ready to enter the battle.  Standing from where he was being treated, after noticing several others leave, he would move swiftly.  Blood still drenching the front of his shirt and armor, whether he was in any condition to fight being of no importance to the blood thirsty adolescent. The sharingan flashed active once again, the deep crimson hue contrasted by the black eyes scanned the area for viable targets, noting obvious clan identifiers and obvious kkg's his target here would be likely one that could bring him greater personal wealth and trophies.  The boy could cover the area in walls of flames but that wouldn't be fun Yazu tended to enjoy the one on one fights.  As the armies charged forward so would Yazu hiding among the soldiers would attempt a deep infiltration as opposed to riding his masked beasts in gloriously, any removal of the spotlight from the Mizukage could be a fatal decision, so the boy would hold his trump card until he found the right opponent.

With guesstimated time elapse just gonna call full ap except -1 for sharingan. exiting to side thread

The time had finally came, the moment Mors had anticipated and hoped for. His blood started to boil, as the signal was given. What had happened before that, no longer mattered, it was time for the storm to destroy all in it’s way. He pulled two kunai from the pouch he wore, tucked under his shirt, and wielded them one in each hand,  the point facing back in the left and forward in the right. Stepping out of the formation he was following, he’d move forward and proceed to look for a fight worth his time, heading towards the shinobi who were starting to finish up being on their knees, with their false bravado.
