FireForge: The Origin Story (Complete) Empty FireForge: The Origin Story (Complete)

Thu Aug 17, 2017 7:33 pm
Fenrir had recently made a very special request of a nearby craftsman who worked on various metals and tools nearby, one that would allow him to create his own weapons and armor, even on the go.  A few days ago, he had been wandering around the store of said craftsman, viewing various works that did not interest him in the slightest.  What did interest him was the tools used to make them, and as such, he had requested to purchase some from the owner.  Sadly, the man was unwilling to sell them to Fenrir, but had agreed to let him earn them through hard labor.  This wasn't labor in the shop, as the man usually worked on smaller things and rarely needed assistance handling his business.  Fenrir's job was to go and retrieve something that had been stolen from him, right out from under his nose.  The object in question was a hammer, but it was no ordinary hammer.  It was supposedly enchanted, and had been passed down from generation to generation in the craftsman's family.  If it's enchanted, we should keep it.  We could always take the tools ourselves, after all, he's just some guy.  Bad idea, the laws of this village would punish us severely for the theft of a family heirloom, followed by the theft of tools.  Also the likely murder of this man.  Besides, what's the chance of it being a 'magical' hammer. With both of their advice in mind, Fenrir had decided to simply help the man, agreeing to find his missing hammer.  Apparently it was stolen by some wannabe bandit who thought it was a weapon.  Personally, Fenrir believed that everything was a weapon if used right, especially a hammer.  According to the man, this thief had talked about being the leader of some big group, but this was unlikely.  Chances were, if he was actually the leader of a bandit group, he wouldn't have even been able to get into the village.  No, chances were that he was just some thug inside the village who needed to be taken care of.  From what he had experienced thus-far, the village was supportive enough of cleaning the scum off it's streets.  After all, they needed their ninja to take care of such troubles with these weak villagers being unable to protect themselves.

So, here he was, wondering the rooftops of the village, looking for a thug with a hammer.  Honestly, there was probably a better way to find the guy, but this was the only one Fenrir could think of right now.  After continuing about in this manner for a couple hours, Fenrir was inches from giving up when he spotted him.  Standing nearby, a rather large thug showing off the hammer to another, slightly smaller thug.  Now that Fenrir saw the hammer, he fully understood why the craftsman wanted it back, but he was confused as to how it could possibly be used for crafting things.  The hammer was a finely made tool, intricate designs up and down the wooden handle, and was surprisingly large, like, warhammer large.  The guy was holding it out in front of him, leaving his top open for a drop attack from the rooftops.  This is how Fenrir decided to do his job, assuming his friend would simply run.  This assumption proved true, and as Fenrir landed on the man's kunai'd corpse, the hammer was retrieved.  After a quick disposal run for the body, Fenrir was ready to go.

Returning to the shop of the craftsman, Fenrir would present him with the hammer, and the craftsman would give him his kit.  With a nod from the craftsman and a wave from Fenrir, their deal was over, and both had what they had wanted.  Upon his return to his home, he got out the other things he had prepared for his kit, including a hammer, since the craftsman wouldn't give him one; a chakra torch, for burning; and a metal wheel to use as an anvil.  With these together, he had made the first FireForge of many.

Hi Fenrir, you can't claim stats when you claim an item. So approved for FireForge but denied for the stats.
