Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Nobu listens as Sakaiza asked about Taijutsu. Some of the simpler techniques such as Leaf Gale and Dynamic Entry are useful for setting up other moves. On their own they aren't particularly dangerous. Nobu quickly pipes up, "Yeah, I can show you a few of those moves. Let's head to the training grounds."

Once they get there, Nobu would take up his fighting stance. "Alright, the Leaf Gale is simple enough. It is mostly a sweep. A rear spinning kick to the lower part of the opponents body. It is meant to knock them off their feet." Nobu does a quick demonstration, showing proper form (or at least his form) for the move. "The move uses your rotation to build up momentum and speed." Go ahead and try it out.

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Fri May 27, 2016 10:51 pm
As the two walked from the village gates to the training grounds, Sakaiza bean to wonder. With the two entering the jounin exams, he couldn't help but considering the well being of their third member, Giichi. Giichi had yet to train with either Sakaiza nor Nobu, and yet the two seemed to be always training or sparring with each other. Sakaiza then started to wonder if Giichi had also entered the jounin exams. If he did, then he must have done a lot more training than what was evident to Sakaiza. But then again, Giichi was always gone doing things with his bugs, so it was quite the possibility that Giichi could be on a whole different level than even Sakaiza. But for some reason, Sakaiza still felt that he and Nobu had surpassed their teammate. Especially if they were the only members of Sunaga Seven to enroll in the jounin exams.

It was a decently scenic route that the two took, allowing them to pass by small crops, the academy and even the cemetery which Sakaiza had the incident at. Passing it by made him begin to think about the life he took that night in the name of self defense and his mission. He wanted to tell Nobu, for that feeling had seemed to build up inside creating a mixture between guilt and satisfaction, but he didn't want Nobu to judge him. Would he even judge him? Probably not, the two were friends and comrades, they trusted each other. But still...

"Listen Nobu..." Sakaiza would begin but at a volume much too low for Nobu to hear. Realizing that Nobu had not heard him, Sakaiza just figured that it wasn't the right time to tell him, and so he would wait.

The two arrived in the training grounds and Nobu began to inform Sakaiza about a technique. It was called the leaf gale which he mentioned was truly nothing more than a leg sweep. But at the same time, it would be important in its own way, creating a window of opportunity for other jutsu to exploit that opening.

"Yeah I get that." Sakaiza said quickly in agreement to Nobu's preliminary statement. Nobu then gave the demonstration, and Pein watched it closely. It seemed rather similar to the first portion of the leaf whirlwind, employing a simple leg sweep that served as a feint. Therefore, learning this jutsu would be easy and simple enough for Sakaiza. Thinking back to when he first learned the leaf whirlwind, he got himself in the correct mindset to do the technique. He would have to generate and channel momentum, keep his leg strong and firm to knock an enemy down and still be ready to spring from the leg sweep into another jutsu. Just as Nobu finished his performance of the jutsu, Sakaiza nodded. In turn, he quickly dropped down to the ground and pivoted his palms upon the sandy floor. He extended one leg out and parallel with the ground while the other's knee served as a rotational joint with the floor. He pushed off with his hands, rotated with his knee and sent his other leg out and flying in one quick motion, exactly as Nobu had done. Sakaiza then followed through with the leg sweep, letting his leg go all the way around his body and ended it with his foot being placed flat on the ground. He quickly rose to his feet and looked at his companion.

"Well that was easy enough! What else do you got for me?"

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Watching as Sakaiza quickly understands and replicates the Taijutsu move, Nobu nods. He expected no less from his skilled comrade, and so he would move on to the next jutsu. "Nice, now this next one is a bit harder to explain." Nobu scratches his head as he tries to think of exactly how to word it. The technique known as "Dynamic Entry!" was unique in its ability to generate your full momentum into the movement even from a still position.

"The next move is Dynamic Entry. It causes you to launch forward with all of your momentum. It is really just a jump kick, but it requires the user to generate explosive speed from each and every muscle in the body, allowing one to move in the blink of an eye seemingly, from a still position." Nobu gathers up his focus and from a standing position, he launches himself ten meters and strikes a boulder with his full speed. If Sakaiza had his Byakugan active, or was incredible perceptive without it, he would notice the tensing of Nobu's muscles, much of which was in the core and legs in order to generate this force.

“I’m not the best at explaining things, so I hope that manages to get the idea of what is needed across.” Nobu looks over at Sakaiza watching as he works on the move. He wonders how much training they would be able to get in before the exams, and more importantly if Sakaiza had known any defensive Taijutsu maneuvers that he could add to his repertoire. Offense was important, but so was defense. The other participants would likely be skilled, maybe even a great deal more skilled than he was.

Nobu would also have the opportunity to work on stopping an opponent if they decided to spar. Looking around the training grounds, Nobu notes that this would be a pretty good spot to practice with it being fairly open and such. Nobu knew that he would also have to end up learning proper ways to defend himself against other styles of combat as well, notably Ninjutsu. It seemed straightforward enough. One would really just need to dodge the jutsu, but Nobu wasn’t very familiar with how fast they moved or how much they would hurt beyond the little bit of experience he has from watching folks around Suna.

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Sat May 28, 2016 12:14 pm
Upon a successful completion of his first attempt at the leaf gale, Sakaiza began to focus on the next one. It was called the Dynamic Entry. According to his teammate, it consisted of explosive momentum in order to propel the user forward. The momentum would be in the form of a leaping kick which Nobu stated required extreme muscle disciple, control and unity. Through the use of the momentum and the muscle attributes needed for this jutsu to be successful, the kick and leap forward would supposedly happen in the blink of an eye. After the explanation came the demonstration. Nobu had braced himself then launched himself forward and quickly. Doing so, Sakaiza could clearly see the movements of his teammate and thought on how he would apply it himself. However, another thought came to his mind, he was wondering when Nobu had learned to move so quickly. From their previous spar, Sakaiza far outpaced Nobu. But now it would seem as if his comrade's speed had rivaled his own. He smiled, quite satisfied with the progress that his teammate had made. The two would be quite the formidable combination together, and they still hadn't even reached half of their potential, they were only genin!

He watched Nobu strike the boulder then kick off of it and return to his resting stance. He stated that he was not any good at explaining things but it was quite the contrary. Based off the demonstration, the explanation that he gave to match it seemed to align pretty well. Sakaiza had a pretty good understanding of how the jutsu would need to be conducted thanks to his comrade and so now it was time for the application of what he learned.

He readied his body, position his left foot forward and his right foot back ready to swing forward as soon as he was ready to begin the technique. He looked at the boulder which Nobu had kicked and noted the slight indent on the boulder where his foot had struck it. That was going to be his target. With his eyes focused on the bulls eye and his legs in position, he now placed his arms properly. His right was forward and resting on his lunged forward left knee and his left hung beside his left leg. As Sakaiza took several seconds to ready his body, he finally decided it was time to begin. Remembering that Nobu said the jutsu required explosive speed from every muscle upon his body, but he felt as if the jutsu would still centralize on some of the lower body muscles considering there was an ample amount of running and a kick to finish the jutsu off. But Sakaiza heeded the advice of Nobu and began the technique. He sprinted forward at his max speed and when he reached the leaping point where Nobu had begun his jump, he jumped in turn. He leaped off the floor with his right foot and thus brought his right knee in and towards his chest as he extended the left leg's foot forward and sternly thus delivering a powerful kick to the boulder.

Finishing the jutsu, he looked at Nobu and smiled. He kicked off of the boulder and landed on his feet and let out a, "Damn that was a lot of fun! I don't kick much so I'm trying to get used to it for spars, you know what I mean?"

Sakaiza finished his statement by brushing off the small amount of rock ash from his clothes and awaited for his comrade's response.

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Sat May 28, 2016 1:13 pm
Ichiro was once again in the midst of an intense training session. This time he had to turn earth into a swamp to hopefully catch prey in and watch them drown and suffocate to death all while laughing maniacally as they do so. That would be the case if he was some actual movie villain anyway; Ichiro did the usual training regime like normal. It was just him alone and his two clones again. The last time he did this he had subjected his clones to physical torture as he continuously shot earth dragons at them and had them run around and try to dodge it. What's worst is the fact he did that for an entire day until he felt he was comfortable enough to be able to perform the jutsu in the heat of a battle and also there was the fact he had the clones fight each other just to make them easier targets. However he had different plans for this training. Last time he even took the time to read on ridiculous and very useless info about  those hand signs and their zodiacs which again...was literally a waste of time. It didn't matter now he just needed to get ready and so when he heard of swamp he thought of water and this being a earth jutsu, Ichiro immediately thought of mud and what fun things you can do with mud? That's right this may have been a ridiculous idea but Ichiro thought having a mud wrestling training/ competition was an actually a good idea to learn how to use a jutsu. Thus that's what he did hosted a mud wrestling contest for the day. If anyone knew Ichiro they would know he does things for the community and is never selfish and this is why he was going to enjoy this so much. He had found a nice open area to set it up and made rules and all the other things one would find at a mud wrestling...arena? Either way he did all he could...and waited….and waited longer….and waited even more longer than that but no one came.

So since no one decided not to participate he made some clones. Now he was obviously going to do what he did before, have the clones fight each other while he slacks of and study the scroll for the jutsu. Well no, he wasn't going to do that but instead he was going to get more involved like last time. Ichiro had dugged a large enough hole to fill it up with mucky muddy water and so all three of the Ichiro's removed their t shirt and sandals and got right into the pool of mud. So basically Ichiro decided it was better to get into the mindset of being mud. He continued to examine the scroll as his body was half way into the pool and watched the clones while doing so. The clones where actually having a blast as they ran around dunking each other under the mud and even suplexing one another.

This actually went on for quite awhile as he tried and tried again with all his several attempts of trying to learn this incredibly awesome and defiantly powerful jutsu. Now look, Ichiro doesn't train much so this was a first in a while. He could be in volunteering in a hospital right now but he's not as he now spends his time training like some darn maniac. That's the thing about Chi, he can never just sit there and expect to learn something without any sorta hands on experience which is why he was now just relaxing himself and sinking into the mud. This was the closest thing he could possibly get to in Suna as he there isn't any actually swamps that he could get the feel off. This didn't change his training and he wasn't the type to easily give up. So he learned the hand seals and memorized them. Ichiro has been working on trying remember things more easily even going to the extent of sometimes making a rhyming tune for the animal that represent each hand signs.  On to the next part!

It was lowkey getting boring so the redhead thought it was time to explore the village for a break. Of course him exploring the village turned into a whole different training session. Ichiro flew around high in the skies testing his “jet boosters” which were made like his chakra cannons. He even tried flying around while popping of a few shots of energy up into the sky so he could get more comfortable with his….transformations. He wanted to know his limits and weaknesses along with his strengths and if this was really useful. Sure the regular intake of Nature Energy is probably going to make him crazy but he can figure out a work around. Not only that, Ichiro was actually kinda getting better with controlling his anger and impulses and flying! Yes the redhead was an aerial Ace as he flew through the sky with his wings spread out as he soar over the village.

The best part about this all was he can still do the hand seals to the swamp of the underworld jutsu and was that actually helpful to him. It was extremely thrilling flying through the sky and memorizing hand signs like nothing could go wrong! Well something did go wrong and he was about to feel the hurt from it all.

Ichiro lost concentration on flying since he was more concerned on learning a jutsu so as consequence, he stopped flying. The giant webbed hand like wings shrunk back into his body and his skin was slowly reverting back to its normal color as he was freaking out falling towards the ground. He was so freaked out that he couldn't even get the wings back out as he was more concerned with not hitting the ground and going splat!

And somehow he managed after randomly creating cannons and using the force from blasting them, Ichiro was able to somewhat make a safe landing. Well if you count flying between two guys who were training; Also when he flew past them it was like a slow mo moment as he looked at the darker skinned guy and the other all while saying “Check out my restaurant!!!” Then back to actual speed, he crashed right into a sand dune causing all kinds of dust and sand to fly into the air. “That could have gone way better….so concentration is key on flying.” he mumbled to himself as he just laid in the pile of sand. Now he was covered in sand and some mud, bravo.

On the good side, he wasn't tired at all. On the bad side...he was dizzy and didn't know where he was. Other than parts of his skin still grey, he was okay! Looking at the other two, Ichiro gave them both a weak wave. "Uh...Hi?"

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Nobu would continue to watch, inspecting the moves of his Sunaga 7 comrade. He ended up launching the move right into the same spot on the boulder, likely further weakening the stone. Nobu nods upon Sakaiza’s completion of the technique. He had learned the jutsu without any issues or difficulties. Noting the speed of Sakaiza, it looked as though they were both rather quick, both of their speeds greatly improving since the last time they had sparred as well. Thinking of Giichi, Nobu wonders how his training was going. Likely he was getting a great deal of personalized training in with his family and fellow clan members, so Nobu wasn’t overly worried.

“Alright! You learned that technique even faster than I had! Very nice work!” Nobu would say, congratulating his friend. It was a simple technique and not incredibly difficult, but that wouldn’t stop Nobu from giving Sakaiza some positive reinforcement.

Listening to Sakaiza’s words on kicks, Nobu can’t help but chime in. “Kicks are wonderful! Not only do they give you a greater range to strike from because of their length, but they also tend to have stronger and more developed muscles from using them all the time to move around. I mean, don’t get me wrong though. A solid punch can be a great deal faster at reaching the target, and so both are key to success in combat. I just don’t see a punch having the raw power of a kick or knee. Although, from what I have seen of Gentle Fist style they don’t seem to focus on it. I guess it is because you folks don’t need the crushing force to do serious damage.” Nobu lets out a laugh as something crazy begins to happen.

A strange looking man shoots across the training grounds right between the two of them training, Nobu hearing something about a restaurant. Who was this person? Was he an ally? Not taking his eyes off of the new shinobi, Nobu notices a Sand headband and relaxes a bit. Stepping forward, Nobu offers the stranger a hand in getting up.

The first thing that crosses Nobu’s mind was the strange appearance of what he had just witnessed. This guy was using what looked like large chakra pumps to try and control his landing. But then, where were they now? And why was he grey? Nobu had little room to question where someone’s abilities came from though, so he would not press on the subject.

With a smile, Nobu introduces himself. “Hi, I’m Nobu Sen Katto of Sunaga 7. But you can just call me Nobu. I haven’t seen you around. Might I ask your name?”

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Sun May 29, 2016 10:56 am
As Sakaiza dismounted from the boulder, his feet landed firmly on the ground in front of Nobu creating only a meter and a half distance from his friend. As he looked upon the face of the jinchuriki, he could see the approval glimmering in Nobu’s eye. It made Sakaiza happy to know that within their team they had constant challenges imposed on each other by each other. That sense of always trying to better themselves was healthy, for it made it seem like they would never just sit around and be content with it. In today’s time, Sakaiza and Nobu had already gotten food, completed a mission and had begun some degree of training. Nobu taught Sakaiza the skills that he knew Sakaiza was lacking on. Nobu likely had never seen Sakaiza even lift his foot off the ground to deliver a kick besides today, so in Sakaiza’s book this was a huge degree of progress on its own.

It seemed as if Nobu said Sakaiza learned the Dynamic Entry quicker than what he had learned it. Part of Sakaiza was not surprised by this, for he knew that he was a quick learner. His sharp eye allowed him to analyze someone’s movement down to the tee, his photographic memory allowed him to remember each and every step of the process and his analytical thinking permitted him to alter the technique ever so slightly to be more suitable for his own capabilities. But simultaneously, a part of him was surprised. He was not used to extending his leg for kicks and it was a generally foreign motion to him. But his teammate Nobu was quite used to kicking, for many of his jutsu consisted of strong kicks. Sakaiza couldn’t help but wonder why the Dynamic entry had given him trouble.

“Sheesh, don’t flatter me, brotha. I might blush” Sakaiza joked.

He wasn’t sure if Nobu felt a little discontent with the fact that his less experience teammate learned a jutsu faster than him, so Sakaiza tried to make light of the situation. However instead of seeming upset, Nobu demonstrated his advanced knowledge of kicking techniques. They were normally more powerful than punches due to the fact that the muscles they used were those exercised almost all the time. They were used to stand, walk, run and even to sit. It made sense. But still, Sakaiza’s palm attacks did not rely on his strength. Though he knew some jutsu that did rely on strength, so he could attest to the point Nobu was making. However just as Nobu finished talking, something uncanny happened.

“Check out my restaurant,” Sakaiza heard as a voice and body carried perpendicular to himself and Nobu before the body crashed into a nearby dune. As a result, sand and dust from the pile kicked up and was carried off by the wind away from the Sunaga Seven members. Following Nobu’s lead, Sakaiza took several steps forward to meet this new person. As he got close, he noticed the sand headband upon his forehead so he knew that he was an ally. So Sakaiza took extended his hand out towards the opposite side of the crashed shinobi, seeking to help Nobu assist the shinobi getting to his feet. If the guy wasn’t too prideful, he would grasp each of the two shinobi’s extended hands and they would lift him to his feet.

He said hi, followed by Nobu introducing himself.

“And I’m Sakaiza Hyuuga. Obviously the looks of Sunaga Seven” Sakaiza joked with some amount of truth to his statement.

He wondered who this person was, and how exactly he was just casually flying throughout the village. There had to be something special to him, and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. Sakaiza knew Nobu was also quite the curious fellow, so between Sakaiza and Nobu, the new shinobi would have lots of questions to answer.

Oh man did his collision hurt. He didn't show it external but he was really in serious pain internally. He winced a bit as he tried to move his body and was still dizzy about it all. One moment he was Dr using in the sky with his wings, soaring in the sky, doing dive bombs. Was going home to cook and I should probably stop before I do a parody of Boyz N The Hood. Yeah that was his plan but he managed to mess that up entirely. Now here he was looking at the two guys trying to help him up.

Ichiro looked at them with a confused face, then he frown, and went back to a confused face after the mention of something something seven. “What the heck is a Sunaga? Sound likes some form of dish.” he said jokingly as he grabbed on to the two and was pulled up off the ground. He quickly dust himself and examined them once more. Ichiro looked at Nobu and then to the Saka guy. “Nobu and Saka of Sunaga. Yeah okay, I'm The chef, Chef Ichiro.

At this point all the weird things like his skin and eye color went all back to normal. It just happened. Not like he was going to say anything about it becausw usually people get freaked out about it…..another reason why he didn't tell his parents of this discovery. They’d probably kick him out just because of it.

Ichiro looked at the two and well awkwardly stood there. He wasn't used to being social plus he sorta just came out of nowhere. Then again he had this weird feeling they were about to bury him with questions about what they just witnissed and he really have no way to cover that up or brush it off now.

So…..uh. Yeah. Stuff you know? Things...and uh...the weather is nice? Can't blame him, he's not sure what people even talk about. He's been training and cooking everyday and all they for the past few weeks so of course he fell out the social loop.

Still despite all of this, he went over the hand seals over and over again in his head.

Patrol (Sakaiza) - Page 2 Empty Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

Nobu looks at Sakaiza as he says that he was the looks of the team. At first, Nobu thought that he was out of his mind, but then he realized that his comrade was likely correct. He was probably the most normal looking of the team. Giichi had weird holes in his body filled with bugs and Nobu was a scrawny youth with scars all over his body.

Nobu helps along with Sakaiza in lifting the older boy. It seems as though everybody around Nobu had been older than he was. Well, everyone but Ryu that was. Nevertheless, the young Nobu would just smile. If anything, Nobu was glad to meet yet another Sand shinobi. All of the ones he has met so far have been quite friendly, so Nobu had little reason to doubt this guy.

"Sunaga 7 is our team name, dude. And the only dishes we serve are knuckle sandwiches!" Nobu laughs at his own horribly corny joke before returning to the matters at hand. This guy called himself Chef Ichiro, so maybe he was good at preparing food. Just as Nobu was about to ask about it, the man said a string of words that lead to how nice the weather was. Nobu thought he was awkward around people, but this guy seems to take the cake.

"The weather? Nice? I don't know about how nice it is. It feels like I'm being cooked out here. If it wasn't for this cool water I might still be seeing things." Nobu comments on his vision just earlier in the day during the guard shift of the cloaked man.

Looking at the mans coloration change to a more normal tone, Nobu continues to wonder. "That's a pretty neat thing you can do there. I've never seen anything like it. I take it you were in.... well over the training grounds training? If so you could train with us. We were just practicing our techniques, but I would like to test my abilities out against something as unique as what I had just gazed upon." Nobu readily offers, his desire to better himself and challenge new types of combatants clearly apparent. Nobu would need these skills in the upcoming Jounin exams if he wanted to be a true contender to those of higher ranks.

"I must ask though, are you able to take a hit? I know that myself and Sakaiza practice in high contact, trying to push each other to better themselves. I just would hate for us to overdue anything. This is training and we are allies." Nobu asks with a slight chuckle.

“I assume you would be alright with this, Sakaiza? It would likely aid greatly in our preparation and training. Can never get enough practice in, right?” Nobu would quickly ask his teammate. He had hoped that Sakaiza would also be up for the challenge, but he also understood that Sakaiza had been tired and so if he declines Nobu would understand his reasons to do so.

OoC: I don't know what your stats are Chef, so I don't know how fast/hard to attack, hence Nobu's question.
