Loser Interrupts [IO, nk, Goon]

Hey, there was another similarity... he didn't know much about his own clan. In fact, what Kozata knew about the Shinkou clan came from the mansion alone... and who knew what kind of lies it could be feeding him? He knew that it certainly wasn't friendly, and that there were only two reasons that it kept him alive at all: that its own existence was tied to Kozata's own, and that he enjoyed seeing Kozata fall prey to stronger ninja (or seeing him beat up and wreck weaker ones. Either way, it loved to see drastic examples of human weakness).
"Hey... that's cool... I don't know much about my clan either. Something tells me I don't want to learn more, though..." Indeed, there was dark power to be found in his clan's bloodline. He had seen it, used it. That boy in the Land of Fire had fallen prey to the Dark Pulse and the Evil Matrix had completely destroyed that chunin, Levi. Well, destroyed his chakra, that is. At any rate, the mansion was now speaking to him.
-Well? When are you going to give me his chakra? Tell you what, boy... please me enough, and I might let you in on my secret...-
Well, what an appetizing offer. He'd have to see what he could do for it sometime... but just wiping this guy's chakra out wasn't in his best interest as of that moment. He was here to get stronger, and that would let him wreck more ninja.... that would make the mansion happier, right?
"Ah, so you're a taijutsu user. Well, at the very least, I can actively suppress one of my four seals to prevent it from sapping your chakra. Do you know your elemental nature yet?" If this guy had fire, too, then that meant that Kozata would just be able to eat his jutsu.... but he wasn't going to do that. He hadn't done it to anyone yet, but he felt that it would be rude.

"Your clan is part of you, you'll eventually learn more whether, you want to or not, shit sucks. Goon said with a smile, he remembered a time when he didn't care about learning about his clan. But then, he got older and eventually, he wanted to learn more, part of because Mukuro was so insistent. It drove him crazy. "As for my elemental nature, Earth. And that sounds good. So whenever you're ready let me know and we'll begin." Goon said answering the question and taking a step back, stretching out his arms, legs, and body. It's been a while since he trained, he did not expect it to be crazy and ruthless like when he was with his mother, or even as intense as when he used to train with the assassins. But he could ever be too sure. 

"Be careful, Goon this kid me seem alright, but he seems to be wary of inner being himself. Just stay on your toes." Mukuro had spoke, and it had seemed he had realized, what Goon suspected. He realized a few things about Kozata, but he wasn't entirely too sure about those yet though. Oh I've realized already, but this will most likely be the only way I could judge that. Don't forget this kid is more than likely more skilled than I am, so i have to be on my toes. Goon was ready and waiting only waiting on Kozata, to tell them how they were gonna train, and to be ready himself.

Well, that was true. Since he had become genin, he had found it a little easier to deal with his inner entity, and supposed that this control would only grow easier over time. However, his somewhat limited mind could only help but wonder sometimes why the mansion wanted to put him in harm's way so much. Most of the time, it seemed as if it were to please the being and give it entertainment, but sometimes, it became more serious when Kozata was in danger. In the case of his visit to Tengakure, for example, this had happened twice: once at the gates, when he had been surrounded by strong chakras who simply ignored him, and again when he had met that guy in the lab coat, whose sheer power had made him almost run for it.
He had foolishly attack the man instead, and had almost died for it. Oh well, he was alive, and nothing could change that (unless this Goon guy killed him).
"I guess we could start with some warm-ups and jutsu applications, then move on to a spar, if you like." Kozata would see how Goon took this suggestion, as it was a pattern he followed frequently when training with others (which didn't happen often, as one might have already concluded).

This training was gonna be far different than what Goon was used to. A nice change of pace though, hopefully not having to worry about impending death. Anytime he'd train during the circus, or with his mother, they always tried to kill him. Sometimes it felt good to move away from that world. "I'll be back when something interesting happens. I need my rest."  Mukuro disappeared from Goon's sight after he spoke, not giving him anytime to reply, Not that it really mattered he could talk to him in his head, if he truly wanted.

"Sounds good to me." Goon said giving Kozata the confirmation he needed. "I'll be following your lead, as a good chunk of my training, with others, consisted of just trying to survive. So I've never really had any proper training, so to say." He thought briefly back to the times his mother tried to kill him, as he waited on Kozata to begin.

Was this guy REALLY weaker than Kozata? What was his clan's ability? Unknowns like this either freaked Kozata out because of his innate fear of, well, a lot of things, or they didn't because his simple mind merely didn't tend toward such things. This was one of those cases where he was too stupid to consider the strength of the person he was training with. Rather, he kept his genial smile on, as a genuine sign of amiability. Well, if this guy wanted to train up his chakra first, that would be fine. Kozata needed some exercise himself, what with the large amount of chakra he had been using lately. Having more control couldn't hurt, right?

Kozata settled into things, channeling his chakra as he ignored the mansion's quip. Until he told Kozata his name, he would try and give it as little room in his head as possible. Maybe he could choke it out of the inner entity, although that seemed more and more unlikely by the minute. At this point, Kozata would speak to Goon.
"Well, since you're a genin like me, I assume you already know the basics of chakra control. Honestly, I don't know much beyond that either." Well, depending on how a person defined "much", that was a lie, but Kozata didn't think too highly of himself.
"In that case, I guess we could start with techniques that we both want to learn. There was one that I was looking at that drains chakra from other people that relies on medical principles rather than seals. Considering that it's a contact-based thing, I thought that you might want to learn it as well. However, we could just go straight to the more advanced things that we would probably still need to learn, like temporary paralysis or body flicker." These were all techniques Kozata had looked up the mechanics of, and had been planning to learn on his own until now.

Medically reducing chakra, sounded interesting to Goon. Goon had a slight fascination with the human body, plus a lot of extra knowledge of it, but he didn't go into med, cause he liked being on the front of the lines. Plus what he seemed to know of medical ninja was they were the stand back and help type of people. Don't get him wrong Goon liked to help people but they seemed to like to go the extra mile. Goon was more of a researcher he liked more studying. "I'd say you know more of chakra than give yourself credit for. But that is just my thought and from what i have observed."

Goon never thought much about what he wanted to learn before, now would be a good time to figure it out. "Oooooh......anything that has to do with medical sounds good to me. Plus those techniques even sound good honestly. I also kinda wanna do something with my earth element. If you know of anything that would be able to help. That would be lovely. If not it's cool." Goon being the scientist that he was loved learning new things no matter what it was. As long as it was new it sounded good to him. He was a lost soul when it came to figuring out what he wanted to do though, he came here with no plans. Next time he'd know better.

So, it seemed that he had found one of Goon's more consuming interests. Medical jutsu, huh? Well, in that case, he would just have to focus on chakra absorption today. It was something he, too, was interested in, but not because of his own pursuit of knowledge. In fact, this was the yuumei influencing his thoughts. The more chakra he could absorb, the more would be fed to the yuumei. In that case, better to get as much as possible.
"Well, chakra based techniques work on the basis that what belongs to your opponent no longer belongs to him, but to you instead." Kozata would begin to speak as his hand moved, maneuvering the seals on his left hand to create a bare patch on the tip of his forefinger. "I guess you could call it stealing." With that, he would reach down and tap a squirrel who had made the mistake of passing by them. He focused on the same purpose that his seals had, but a different method, drawing the chakra through his skin organically rather than relying on the engine-like mechanism of a fuuin seal.
After a few seconds, the squirrel slumped to the ground, drained of what little energy it had.
"I guess that's how it's done..."

Goon watched as the squirrel went from a scampy little bastard, to an almost lifeless being. He chuckled a little as it happened, that technique looks like it could definitely be useful in the future. If Goon understood the technique right, from what he gathered from kozata's explanation, and demonstration, plus his own knowledge. All it took was healing in reverse, Goon thought he could try it himself. "I guess so, but let's see if I can get this right. It seems simple enough in aspects."

So Goon focused his chakra into his hands, but instead of giving, he tried to get it to pull. Thinking he got it right he waited a moment, waited for something to pass by him, And something did. More or less, someone, one of the men coming through the area to train passed through. They were all test subjects to him anyways, Goon got the guy's attention. They chopped it up for a few, the whole time Goon was shaking the guy's hand, feeling the chakra flow from the guy. Goon watched as the guy went from energetic to something lower in energy levels. Goon didn't do too much cause then he'd just be a dick, so he released the man's hand, so the man could be on his way. "Something like that, right?" Goon said as he turned back to Kozata. If it involved the human body, Goon was able to pick up on things faster than most.

Wait, what? This guy laughed upon seeing someone's chakra drained like that? Kozata thought that maybe he was similar to the yuumei in some aspects. Regardless, it seemed that they had both got the chakra absorption technique down pretty pat.
"Yeah, I think you've got it. Well, I think we have time for one more today." They had just covered a pretty good medical technique, and now they should probably focus on something different. He already knew the summoning technique, so that wasn't something he could really do, so... why not do the temporary paralysis technique? It seemed simple enough as something a couple of genin could learn. It was easier than the chakra absorption one, that was for sure.
"Let's do the temporary paralysis technique..." Kozata started. "It's a ninjutsu technique that focuses on stopping your opponents movements. Apparently, they're supposed to feel like they're being restrained by steel cords or something like that." It was a weird jutsu, but he supposed it could be useful for capturing little jerks who wanted to leave Kiri. Surely, there weren't any of those, right? Kiri was a fantastic place!
He focused his chakra slightly, noting the yuumei's silence. Was it just sitting there, watching?

With that, Kozata would be finished. That was, with a little practice. The squirrel he had drained before was up and about now, moving around weakly. What a pathetic being. Did such things even have to exist? Wait... those were the yuumei's thoughts, not his. He had to resist these kind of violent, chaotic things, otherwise, he would be overwhelmed by darkness. And of course, that was a bad thing, right? Or was it? Was being aligned with such an internal being such a bad thing? Certainly, he woudln't want to be taken over by it, but at the very least, they would be in sync with each other.
At any rate, Kozata focused on the petty being before him. He stretched out his chakra, feeling out for the animal's physical form. He had to attain this quickly, or else he would look like some kind of incompetent idiot in front of Goon, which would not be good at all. With this kind of jutsu, he had to try very, very hard. Even though he had a large and powerful chakra by now, he was definitely not good at ninjutsu at all. His dream, believe it or not, was actually to be good at ninjutsu. He found that people who were good at ninjutsu were generally more accepted and less likely to be called a "loser", which was a fate that he wanted very much to escape from. This was a new village, and his life was new as well.
He found the squirrel's physical form easily, and reached out to it, then squeezed slightly with his chakra. He felt the power rushing forth from him, and hoped for success. It would all depend on how strong his own chakra was, and how proficient he was with casting and envisioning this jutsu.
As he soon found out, he wasn't as bad as he had thought. The things he had been worried about were completely unfounded. After all, he wasn't a loser any more. The yuumei chuckled as he heard these thoughts.
-YOU SEEK GLORY? YOU SEEK RECOGNITION? CAST ASIDE THESE PETTY THINGS. BECOME THE SPIRIT OF EMPTINESS, THE MAN WHO CAN DISAPPEAR FROM THIS WORLD.-
What in the world did that mean? Kozata decided to keep that in mind as he continued his training from that point onward. Could humans do without recognition? Could they keep a strong psyche without having some little glory or fame of their own?
Or perhaps... did he have to cast aside his humanity?
Once again, he didn't know if that was a good or a bad idea. The world didn't need more evil people, right? Werent' there enough bad people out there to mess things up?
Regardless, he had succeeded in paralyzing the squirrel. The jutsu ended, and Kozata let the animal go.
"Well, I think I'm done here. I guess I'll see you around..."
He would see Goon soon, of course, but he didn't know that just yet.
He headed home, a little happy that he had learned so much, but also a little dejected that he was going through such horrible moral crises. What kind of a person was he if he was having thoughts like these? Surely, he needed to seek the council of someone wiser.
