TNA: Youta VS Goon

Tengakure's New Age Round 2 Matchup: Youta VS Goon

Held in a small arena built specifically for this. Stone floor, circular 25 meter diameter arena, 10 foot high walls surrounding with a viewing area above. No rooftop to save on expenses. After the Tenkage had announced the rules and sat, the bell that indicated the match to begin chimed.

[Fight will start when both entrants have posted, if a post has not been submitted within 48 hours regardless of entry it will count as a forfeit on their part]

Goon sat in the back waiting to be called on again, it was time for him to actually fight. The last fight he had took another turn of events, shocking himself and the crowd. He was motioned towards the arena, he walked down the long dark corridor with the light at the end. He felt he was walking to his death, it was very eerie.

The crowd cheered as he made his way yo center of the arena. Pulled back his 'fro, and sighed. He always seemed to be one of the first ones to these things. He waited for his opponent, humming Mary had a little lamb to himself.

Youta entered. With same stuff on herself like the first match (of course she collected the stuff she threw, so it's all good). Was the same arena so no problem there. The only possible problem she intended to solve stood right in the middle of the thing.

Goon would bow as the white-haired female walked into the arena. He would then take a basic fighting stance. As she got closer he'd say, "I'm Goon, nice to meet you." She was another person in the village he hadn't met. He'd wait and see what she was gonna do, he went into the last haphazardly, and paid for that mistake. He wasn't gonna let himself do that again. He planned on just sitting back and analyzing before trying to strike, and going in head strong wasn't an option.

Her opponent seemed like a good mannered one. But this was a fight and Youta did not feel like up for pleasantries so her response was rather simple. Unsheathing Shigure she would slightly nod at the guy saying "Youta. Likewise" She could respect her opponent sure, but it did not mean she had to go out of her way for him.

When the fight started, the guy did not rush to attack her. He was obviously being rather careful about her. In return she would not rush to close the gap either, if he was a long range fighter he would have utilized his advantage. If nothing happened for a moment the girl would resheathe her blade and ask "Not going to attack?"

Youta seemed to just wanna get this fight on, Goon realized neither of them would attempt to make the first move. After several moments of just standing she'd speak again. He figured she was trying to draw him towards her, so he went with it, to test the waters. he performed the hand seals (Ram-Snake-Tiger) for the clone technique. Making two copies of himself he'd send them towards and so would he, he didn't expect it to do anything but it was worth a shot. The clones and Goon were switching spots, in a hope that it might work.

Youta would watch with a straight face as her opponent performed the simple academy clone technique. It was obvious from the hand seals he used as well as the fact that there was sound of only one person running, not three. With that and by observing the impact on the ground as the guy was running, she would know which one's the original.

With that in mind she did nothing and allowed the guy to get within two meters of her.

This was not what Goon wanted to do, but he felt he needed to or else the match probably would of never started. So he got within two meters of Youta, still switching spots with the clones, he ended up on the left side of her. When he finished getting close enough he'd  drop down supporting himself with his right hand, and perform a leg sweep with his left. Being turned around, He'd then kick off the ground with his leg, flipping over dropping his left knee into her abdominals.

So the bunch got close. Surprisingly only one of the three attempted an attack and that was also the only one that made any sounds, quite so marking himself as the original.

His attack was rather slow and easy to read to Youta replied with the same kind. She would spin on her left leg, turning to face her opponent then with a light jump avoid the sweep kick and aim to land onto his chest. At the same time both her hands would go to Shigure's hilt and sheathe, in case she needed a swift and powerful attack.

She had dodged Goon's attack and was now coming down towards him, he saw her reach for the hilt of her sword. Goon figured the best thing to do was to not dodge, there was no way way he could escape the sword in time. As she was much faster than him, and with the sword this was the only way he could get close to her. So Goon's back slammed on to the ground, and he got the air knocked out of him.
