On the high seas...

The fog still clung close to the water as the boat made way. With the wind at their backs and filling the sails the boat began to make good time. Despite the nice breeze the waves were not as bad as they could be. Thus, Lucian and Taios would make good time in their travels-even the fog would lift an hour off of the Volcano village. Before long the pair would see the distant islands of Shimgakure passing by and even pass the ruins of Kirigakure. Naturally Lucian would remain on deck for most of the time taking in the sights even if they just be water. Sooner or later the pair of odd travelers would make land. Land in the land of lightning. That is assuming no pirates or unforeseen catastrophe befell them.

Taios stood by his friend.  His armor clad to his shoulders, blade in hand.  Keeping watch his eyes scanned the horizon and behind.  While his other hand cracked another ouster before eating it.  He had a huge bag of them of course after all.  He would shove another in Lucians hand everyone and then before earrings himself.  It was a boring trip so far. But soon the land of lightning would be upon them.
