mitsui meets kage (Private) (No Kill)

Mitsui walked into the kage office. He would start by knocking on the door and assuming he would hear a voice behind him, he would walk in and bow to whoever was the new leader considering who has been tsutsikage and how much power struggling has happened, Mitsui had no care of who was the position holder now since it was clear that there have been many coups. Mitsui would bow in front of whoever was behind the desk. Mitsui would then ask what he could do for the kage and what he could do about whatever problems were happening. He would love to rank up.

Kozai had just finished another batch of paperwork for the day. He had also read up on all the ninja of the village, briefly memorizing their files and storing the information away in his subconcious. Looking at the boy now in front of him, a name and background came to mind. "Mitsui Hamamichi", huh. The boy seemed pretty interesting. However, he had yet to prove his mettle. Kozai sat back in his chair casually, sizing up Mitsui. What could he have come here for? Hopefully, he didn't want anything too overwhelming. "State your business, boy, and don't waste my time."

Mitsui thought it was a dumb idea to ask for a rank up and decided that requesting a mission was a better way than to directly go to the rank up. He thought that he should help kozai first so he could have a much bigger amount of leverage over him. Mitsui stated: I am here to request a mission. I believe that it would be the best service that I could give to you now sir. Mitsui would stay in bowing position and listen to whatever Kozai had to tell him. He believed that maybe after doing some missions that he could get a promotion.

From his scraping, it was obvious that this boy was a suck-up who wanted something from Kozai. How disgusting. Kozai decided to not kill him right then and there, but instead would sit up in his chair, showing no sign of his annoyance with this child. "So, why is it that you desire a mission? You could just go to the mission board and take one yourself rather than coming to ask me. It's clear that you're up to something. Come now, let's be honest with each other. What is it you need?" Kozai would gaze into the boy's eyes.

"I was thinking that a mission would be the best way to help you. I believe that maybe I could get a promotion after a number of missions. I have done a lot of hard work to be a shinobi and I believe that it would be helpful to you if maybe, I could get something for you or maybe even teach you something." Mitsui would stand up now and wonder what on earth this guy would do, maybe, Mitsui would have what he would hope for or maybe this crazy man would kill him. Mitsui was very curious about what will happen about it.

Kozai smiled slightly. Perhaps the genin could teach him something... something he desired. He wasn't sure though, so he inquired as to such. "What could you possibly teach me? Tell me, genin. What do you have that I don't?" These words would be spoken with false derision, while in Kozai's mind, the gears were working. If the genin had something special.... he would have to investigate it! That would surely mean... getting more DNA perhaps? Splicing it into something? Oh, the possibilities were endless. Maybe it was something simple, such as a jutsu. Or maybe it was just something else.

Mitsui was kind of frightened at how Kozai talking. thought that telling Mr Kozai everything Mitsui would know would not only take a long time, it would probably be better if he asked Kozai what he would want to know, if Mitsui did not know anything that Kozai could be interested, then tough, but if Mitsui did know, he would be able to help his kage in some way. He would ask: Would there be anything that you would want? I only know some but if I know something that you want to learn, than I can be a big help to you.

Kozai sighed. Clearly, the boy was just a little desperate for advantages. He leaned over the table to look directly in the boy's eyes. Behind him, very subtlely, a white form of chakra would begin to take shape. This would be the beginning of Kozai's display of power. That is, he would be attempting to have the boy get to the point. "If you don't have anything specific to offer me, then get out of my office. Don't try my patience, boy." Kozai had little of it, nowadays, especially for little ones such as this one. Should he prove himself...

Mitsui was slightly annoyed, he thought that the man would show an interest in something not some annoyance for what Mitsui would guess would have been the possibility of Mitsui knowing more than this man. Mitsui thought about what he saw of the man which was little but he guessed that maybe his earth element would be something that he could teach. Mitsui would say: I could teach you earth element, it is quite an interesting element in my opinion. It is the main element that my threads are based off of. I think that if you try to get the ability to make threads like I can, I would believe that you would need the element. If you have the element, then I am not sure what I could teach you.

Ooh, so the boy knew earth element. That was something that Kozai had been wanting to develop for a while. Now was his opportunity. Well then, he supposed he would have to grant the boy's request then. "Very well then, I will grant you a mission after you teach me how to use doton. Mind you, that this mission, should you accept it, could cost you your life. Are you sure this is the path you want to take?" He would ask this in a cautionary tone, testing the boy for signs of recklessness and immaturity. Not good things, hm.
