TNA: The Grand Finale - Page 4 Empty Re: TNA: The Grand Finale

Aqua, having already used the necessary hand sign, would then begin to call to the elements. Knowing that that Anbu was standing still through his use of 'rain tiger at will' technique he would cause a massive amount of water to create endless waves 2 meters above the anbu's head, threatening to beat him down at 70 speed, if anything it would blur his vision immensely given the large amount of water, and hopefully Altar, whom he would also sense was standing there for a time, to walk away from the bottom of the arena. This was a last ditch effort as aqua has used all of his best moves to end this fight. During this time clone two would dissipate, giving Aqua back his much needed stamina. This accomplished though his skill and the time that he had known Water Heavens Convergence.

At the moment Youta had created a blast in the door Aqua would begin to fly in a diagonal path upwards towards the sky at his top speed, hopefully trying to avoid the trees and the platform at all costs.

[Aqua uses great exploding colliding wave with call of the elements, 29 stamina for Aqua]

If Aquas actions were to interrupt Haru's attempt to catch Youta with wood, she would throw three kunai at the ANBU, then clap her hands summoning a gale that would carry the blades at incredible speed, however overloading and undoing her cloak.

If not, then she would learn that the ANBU could somehow still track her, as the wood pursued and captured her, despite the girl's invisibility. Seeing no way out of the trap, she could focus on her senses and recognize who the man under the mask was.

[btw, kunai would go at 112 speed with 83 sharpness]

Unfortunately for aqua, Haru was actually not being touched by the rain, due to still being under the half dome that he created to block the water dragon jutsu. Even if he still could be protected, the water would hit the top of the dome (which was about a half meter over his head), the water running harmlessly down the sides of the dome.

Because of this, all of his actions would be successful, and all three of the genin would be captured in the traps, immobile. It was very likely they would not be able to escape the confines of the traps, so he assumed the fight was just about done. He would open and lower the dome that surrounded Aqua, so that he was visible as well as the other two.

He would wait for Takeo to make an announcement, or else continue this fight, which he felt had dragged on for quite awhile.

(Since Haru didn’t sub onto the dome, he stayed under the one he made to stop the dragon. Just to be clear.)

TNA: The Grand Finale - Page 4 Empty Re: TNA: The Grand Finale

For once Takeo paid attention to the fight. He didn't expect the Genin to be the one's victorious in this fight. If they did, he would have likely sent Haru back to the Academy right on the spot. The latter part of the fight Takeo had difficulty paying attention to, mostly because of the trees. However the fight ended soon after, allowing him to not bother activating his Byakugan just to watch the fight unfold. A push of the arms and he was standing, the crowd slowly falling silent as they took notice of this movement. "People of Tengakure, did you enjoy the glorious display of our combatants?" While he didn't yell, his voice carried itself throughout the arena with ease, all thanks to the choker around his neck. He paused, the crowd erupting into cheers for all four of the fighters.

Takeo waited until the crowd naturally died down, which took a few minutes. "I give thanks to the ANBU operative for taking the time to come down here and show us a glimpse of the power that they possess." This was of course worded specifically in order to show that the ANBU had not gone all out. After all, dealing with three Genin should be an easy task that requires little to no effort. Once again the crowd clapped, though Takeo continued his voice projecting over the applause. "The three Genin before us performed well throughout the entirety of the TNA. While none of them managed to gain the required amount of victories, certain performances must be rewarded."

Now came the moment which Takeo had not looked forward too. He had debated on just giving all three of them the rank of Chuunin, however he had to remain strong-willed when it came to matters like this. Feelings were not something he wanted to consider when it came to promotions, only ability. His left hand swept out dramatically, stopping in the direction of the sole female."Youta Rentai. I recall the time I first met you. Such a weak, feeble child you were back then. But now look at you, one of the strongest Genin of this generation. Your performance throughout this tournament has been unmatched by any of the others. The rank of Chuunin is yours." Once more the crowd would cheer and clap. Takeo did not join in with this, as he was thinking over what he would say next.

Once the crowd had died down he moved his hand over towards Aqua. There was a brief pause, as Takeo tried to recall what the boy's real name was. Deciding he couldn't be bothered to strain himself too much when it came to this he just spoke, "Aqua. You displayed a variety of techniques throughout the battle, as evidenced by the new forest you have so generously gave Tengakure." On the outside he was smiling, on the inside he was seething at the amount of cleaning up would be required for this entire thing. "Your other performances were also impressive. What I see before me is a Genin that has for a long time had the strength of a Chuunin. It makes me wonder why you did not try for promotion sooner. Chuunin is now yours." As before the crowd played its part, providing the cheering that would give the morale boost to the defeated Genin. It was while this was going on that Takeo continued to think, this was becoming quite a pain.

Finally his hand moved over towards the last of the Genin. Takeo hesitated, though it was only brief, before speaking. "Altar Shinkou. What I see before me...is a Genin level fighter." It took some effort for Takeo to maintain vision of the boy, the want to look away while he spoke was incredibly high. "Your performance throughout this tournament was not bad. However it was not at the level I consider to be Chuunin. Do not be disheartened however, there is always room to improve. I see vast untapped potential within you. Get stronger, and I guarantee next time you will achieve the rank of Chuunin." Takeo really disliked doing this, maybe next time he'd let Xyxer handle this part. Yeah, that seemed like a good idea.

"People of Tengakure, let us once more show our appreciation for the future of Tengakure." As the crowd erupted into cheers, chants, clapping, and all that good stuff, Takeo spun and made his way towards the exit. He had to go about finalising all the paper work and the like. He made a note to give the three a couple of days off, they deserved at least that much.

Bar cheered along with the rest, and especially loudly for who he believed to be Haru, (After all, there weren't THAT many other Hyuuga or Byakugan in Tenkage, were there?) Youta, and Aqua.

Youta's shroud slowly faded away as she was bound by Haru's wood. The fight appeared finished as the others were captured as well. In a bit the crowd went silent and the female noticed Takeo's figure, it would appear the Kage was going to call this over. She stayed silent, with a small grin as Takeo spoke, he seemed to like making announcements. She was the first to be awarded with Chuunin rank, Aqua second. Altar did not receive the higher rank, however Youta got to hear his full name - Altar Shinkou. He had the same last name as her master, this peeked her interest, but this was not the time to ask about it, she will find a moment later.

If the bounds were released, the girl would pick up her sword and leave the arena.

Altar watched with some relief as the Tenkage, Takeo, appeared, announcing the end of the fight, effectively concluding the tournament. He then went to each person in turn, starting with Youta. He praised her unparraleled skill in combat, and quickly awarded her the rank-up. Altar couldn't argue with that. She had earned it. Next came Aqua, Takeo commenting on his wide variety of jutsu and ability. Once again, a rank up to chuunin was bestowed upon Aqua. Then, finally, Takeo pointed to the boy.

And called him a Genin. Altar faltered a bit, quickly catching himself from displaying his surprise. Takeo went on, hiding his mild insults within his speech. It stung, but Altar knew it was true. He was nowhere near a match for anyone. Still, to be called weak and unworthy in front of a mass of others, as well as his peers and an ANBU, was depressing and embarrassing. It seemed his entry into this tournament had been a mistake, a fluke at best. He hadn't even given much of a final fight. It had all been for naught. He had accomplished nothing through his trying and this endeavor.

Altar would keep his eyes to the floor, forcing a faked smile as the crowd cheered for the newly appointed chuunin, the names of Aqua and Youta being cheered for. However, he noticed a significant lack of his name. After all, he was the loser of this endeavor. He was the weak. He was the unworthy.

Altar would look to Aqua and Youta, wearing his forced smile and keeping the tears threatening to pour from his eyes at bay, and mouth out the words 'good job', as his voice wouldn't have been audible over the cheers and shouts of the crowd.

After doing that, considering the ANBU would probably have released them, having no reason to keep them trapped, Altar would quickly make his way to the exit, leaving the spotlight to the two newly appointed chuunin, the ones that had earned it. After all, he remained the lowly Genin. There was no rhyme or reason for him to remain there, and take up space where he wasn't needed or wanted.

Haru released the three genin, releasing the hand seal. As Takeo spoke, he decided to make his way out of the arena, slipping through the trees so that when the crowd looked away from Takeo, it would look as though he had vanished. Ninjaness and stuff like that that looked cool. He felt bad that Altar had been excluded here, but he also felt sympathy. He had failed his own chunin exams on the first attempt, after all. He’d just have to make sure Altar got promoted next time.

Aqua would bow to everyone and fly away. He needed to do some paperwork of course for the village, but for now he needed to rest. He had used some very chakra consuming techniques here and he was ready for a nap. Dissipating the orb of water that was created along with his clone he would fly away at top speed.
