It's medicinal (P, NK, IO) Empty It's medicinal (P, NK, IO)

Haru would blink twice, his eyes coming open suddenly. He was once again thrust in the familiar situation of wondering where he was, and when he had fallen asleep. Seriously, he spent more time in his life sleeping then he did awake… He REALLY had to kick this habit, but he simply couldn’t help himself. He loved it. Lifting up his head to look around, he raised an eyebrow. The world seemed to be upside down… how odd… He glanced around, gazing at the green grass on the ceiling, and the brown stalagmites hanging, and then he realized… He was upside down. He glanced down… up… whatever…. and saw his leg was caught between a few tree branches. He had no idea what he was thinking when he chose to sleep on a tree branch, but apparently he had fallen down and caught on a branch, all the while, never waking up. He was a REALLY heavy sleeper.

He struggled with the branch for awhile, trying to slip his foot out. No good, he was stuck in there good, and he couldn’t reach around to grab a branch at the angle he was hanging at. He didn’t want to break the tree branches, as there were so few trees in Tengakure, and it seemed a waste to kill the trees... maybe that was his senju blood talking? Either way, he didn’t want to break the tree limbs. So, he would wait for help.
”A little help here?!” He would shout into the empty air. Hopefully, someone would hear him. If not, well… the blood was starting to rush to his head. Not a comfortable position to be in at all, that’s for sure. ”Well, this sucks.” He would mutter as nobody had yet shown up. He sighed, crossing his arms. ”HELOOOOO!?” He would shout again. Come on, he had better places to be then here…

Keisuke yawned as he strolled through the streets of Tengakure. Tears began to form in the corner of his eyes after doing so, forcing him to wipe them away. He had woken up a bit earlier than normal so it caused him to be a bit tired. He wanted to take a nap, but it seemed he couldn't do so. That's why he decided to take a small walk through the village. Keisuke held in another yawn threatening to pop up and scratched the back of his head. 'Man, I don't even know what time - ' he thoughts were cut off from the sound of someone yelling for help. The young boy stopped walking for a moment and looked around for the source of the sound. Yet again, the same voice shouted. The noise felt as if it echoed in his ears. God, this was going to give him a major headache!

Eventually, he found the thing - person, he meant person - making the noises. The guy seemed to be.. stuck in a tree. Keisuke walked over and gave the stranger a deadpan look. "What the hell are you yelling for?" he questioned.

Haru’s eyes narrowed as the kid entered his line of sight, asking what he was yelling for.
”Oh, you know, just hanging out.” He would say sarcastically, fidgeting his leg. ”Would you kindly climb up and get my leg out of these branches?” He would ask the boy in the same tone of voice. The blood rushing to his head was turning him bright red, and it didn’t feel very good at all, that was for sure. He would wonder what would happen if the boy just turned and left, as he looked like the type who might just do that. He supposed he would have to cut the limbs that were constricting his legs, though he wondered if he couldn’t just manually move the branches… The idea crossed his mind, obviously, but if he did that they would snap for sure, unless he ripped off his own leg in the process which was a big time no-no.

”Hurry up, kid, pull the branch up and it’ll let my leg fall free.” He would instruct. His robes were beginning to hang down awkwardly over his head, and Haru was reminded how thankful he was that he actually wore clothes underneath his robes.

Keisuke continued to give the stranger a deadpan look, not sensing the sarcasm in his sentence. "That doesn't answer my question," he replied, "And I hope you know there are moments when I'm not kind.. luckily I am today." The academy student made his way over the tree and began to climb up. Yup, this guy was definitely lucky he was feeling nice today. Otherwise Keisuke would still be on the ground laughing the whole time. Soon enough, he made it to where the stranger's legs were.. tangled? No, that doesn't sound right. Dang it, what's the word? ..Forget it. Not like it matters anyway. Keisuke tugged at the branch, performing what the guy had instructed him to do. However, he pulled it up a bit too quickly and caused it to.. snap. "Woops," he spoke in monotone.

Anyways, that should have gotten the guy out of the tree without a problem. Keisuke would have simply jumped off the tree casually, the branch still in his hands. It didn't seemed to do anything much to it. Besides, it was just a simply branch. What could possibly go wrong? He landed safely onto the ground and began to speak, "You're welcome."

Haru rolled his eyes as the boy proceeded to make what he assumed were threats, saying it was lucky he was in a good mood or something. Haru waited, tapping his free foot against the tree limb he was stuck to as he waited for Kei to free him… and then… he heard the snapping sound. A monotone “Whoops” came from the boy as Haru began to fall, his face already contorted with anger. He would spin in the air, his robes billowing out underneath him like he was some kind of batman impersonator, angling his legs to connect with the ground without knocking him off his feet. Once his landing was successful, the boy followed him down, apparently convinced Haru wanted the tree branch to be snapped. That Senju blood really did have some strange side effects, but Haru couldn’t help it, he wholeheartedly though that the boy should experience some consequences for his actions.
”You just broke the limbs… Why do you think I was staying there if they could be broken so easily?” He would ask, effectively telegraphing his next move.

So with that, Haru’s fingers would begin to glow blue as a chakra scalpel formed in his right hand, before swinging for the boy’s arm. If his hit connected, Kei’s arm would come clean off in a pool of blood.
”You ripped the tree’s limb off… an eye for an eye seems fair in this situation, don’t you think?” He would say as he attacked.
Luckily for Kei, Haru was still disoriented from the fall, and his attack was much slower then he could move normally, and certainly within Kei’s tracking range.

Keisuke rose an eyebrow at the guy's reaction. His face seemed as if he was constipated, well that was in Kei's point of view anyway. He played with the branch in his hands as the stranger began to speak. Just what was he talking about? He didn't break anyone's... oooh. He was probably talking about the branch in Kei's hands. "... What the hell are you doing now?" he asked once he saw guy's hand turning blue. Or was it glowing? Oh well, all he knew was that the thing was blue. Due to his awesome, incredible, boss/beast reflexes, Keisuke dodged the left and evaded Haru's attempt to slash his arm off. He was currently a simply foot away from the stranger who was now his opponent. Not even giving him a moment to react again, Keisuke put the branch that was in his right hand to use.

The boy attempted to hit the back of the guy's head with the branch at full strength. If his attack hit, he would leap back by a meter. After all, he wasn't very good with head on attacks. Keisuke would settle into a battle stance, the branch in his hands. Though, if the thing was broken he would have tossed it to the side. "Well, I didn't expect to be fighting today," he mumbled to himself. He then waited for the stranger's next move, still in the direction of the guy's left side.

As Kei dodged Haru’s chakra scalpel, the world continued spinning from the high concentration of blood in his head, and the dizziness heavily impaired his speed. Haru would manage to see Keisuke swinging the branch at his head, which only served to increase Haru’s anger. So now he was going to use the tree’s limb as a weapon? That was like ripping someone’s arm off and beating them with it. Which was exactly what he was gonna do when he caught this kid. To dodge the stick being swung at his head, Haru would make a quick set of handsigns, preforming the substitution technique, replacing his form with a rock about ten meters away. Now, where was he? Oh, yes, delimbing.

To that end, he would reach over his shoulder, pulling his spine out casually, extending it to about a meter long, and hurling it at the boy. Unfortunately, his aim was off, thanks to the dizziness, so the blade landed in a rock to the boy’s left, at his feet. Haru would take a wobbly step to face Keisuke, both of his hands now glowing blue, chakra scalpels on each of his hands.
”You’re lucky I can’t see straight… I’ll just have to handle this personally…” He muttered, beginning to run towards him, attempting to slice the chakra scalpels across his chest in an X formation. If they connected, the scalpels would dig into his chest, cutting upwards, digging through his heart, and killing him. In his raged, dizzy, and slightly delusional state, Haru did not think about this fact, nor did he contemplate the fact that killing Kei would be very bad looking on his personal file.

A wicked grin was seen in Keisuke's face once the stranger had disappeared in a puff of spoke. "Substitution, huh?" he said. Seems like this guy was resorted to jutsu? Then he might as well join in the fun. His grin grew wider as he tossed the tree branch to the side. As he prepared to look for his pre - enemy, he meant enemy - he couldn't help but notice that annoying whizzing sound in the air. He immediately leaned his body to the right, expecting something like a kunai to pass by his side. Apparently he was wrong, for instead he saw a... spine? Yeah, a spine ebbed into a rock. Wait, why the hell was a spine being thrown at him! He turned his head in the direction of where the projectile was thrown and saw the stranger. The guy was apparently getting ready to charge at him with... those god damned chakra scalpels. "Shit," he mumbled.

Keisuke quickly grabbed the spin as fast as he could. Before his enemy could have slashed at his chest, the boy leaped back by a foot once more. He then attempted to slash at the guy's left shoulder using the guy's spine. This fight was just getting weirder and weirder by the minute. He didn't even know this stranger's name! 'Might as well just ask' Kei thought to himself. "What's your name anyway?" he asked. Man, he was asking a lot of questions today.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, Haru couldn’t think straight. The kid was using his own spine against him as a weapon… how ironic. As Haru reached him with his charge, the boy stepped away from his scalpels, using the bone sword to slice at his shoulder. Well, he couldn’t have that… he raised his left, armored hand, blocking the attack with his forearm. God, how he was thankful for that shield of an arm. He would hold the sword in place relatively easily, he had quite a strength advantage over the boy. Then the boy… asked for his name. Not something you should do in a fight to the death. It definitely was NOT proper fighting procedure, but… what the hell.

”Haru.” He would say simply. ”What about you?” He would ask, before making an attempt at forcing the bone blade away, hopefully staggering Keisuke long enough for the next strike to get in. If he was successful in knocking back Kei, he would jump into the air, aiming two of his feet to drop kick Kei in the chest, knocking him down. Haru would then quickly roll to his feet, waiting for his opponent to stand. It wasn’t that striking a downed opponent was below him, but he still had the bone sword, and he could pretty much impale Haru with it if he tried to do that. Which would be bad. And painful. And embarrassing. Mostly painful.

Seemed his strike was blocked with an armored hand... That was new. Keisuke grinned once the guy had finally revealed his name. At last, the author of this post wouldn't have to use terms such as "guy" or stranger." Hm, he guessed that Haru wasn't a bad name. Not bad at all. "Keisuke," he replied curtly. Afterwards, the academy student could feel Haru trying to.. push him back most likely? Yes, that is definitely what it felt like. Unfortunately, Kei was forced back by a few feet as he nearly dropped his weapon. He regained his ground quick enough to notice Haru trying to attack him. Wait.. why would he jump into the air. That just made the attack way too easy to dodge! The boy leaped away by a whole meter from his position on the ground. Once Haru was still a meter or two in the air, Kei immediately charged forward and leaped into the air.

As he drew in closer to Haru, the boy would attempt to perform another slash. This time the strike was vertical, aimed for Haru's chest. Now, Keisuke really wasn't someone who enjoyed being airborne in battle. He wasn't even sure if this would simply backfire on him in some way, but he really didn't care. Sometimes, you had to take a risk. This was one of those times for him.
