Gohan blinks unexpectedly several times, watching as his friend bolts away and runs home. A very anticlimactic moment and a huge surprise for him, as well as somewhat annoying considering how much power he had finally focused within himself. Not seeing much point anymore, the energy is channeled immediately to his hands, then instantaneously fire in an intense eruption of a Ki blast that fires forth from his palm. The ball of energy hurdles forward towards a thick tree, whirling around with such speed before impacting the center of the truck. The tree cracks and explodes with cataclysmic force, the remnants raining small wood chips and fire down around him.

A somewhat satisfying conclusion, but he had wished that he would have been able to finish training with his friend. With a sigh he leaves the training field, seeking his father for further teachings and power. Hopefully they can train in the mountains of Kumogakure and he can finally reunite with Goku after all this time. It is disappointing to not have a friend to train with, and Trunks's unexpected departure made the boy wonder where his clan mate could have possibly run off too. With a sigh Gohan walked off the hill away from the burning tree and windy plains of the training field, back into town and jogging through the streets. He didn't want to take a break just yet, and he had finally gotten himself hyped up to perform a long day of intense training.
