Albel's Chakra Training <DONE>
Sat May 05, 2012 10:30 am
Albel walked out to the forest for todays training. Today he was going to work on his chakra control and to test the limits and duration of his chakra. "I think I'll start out with the tree climbing exercise," he thought to himself. Albel performed the hand signs of the Tree Climbing Technique then focused his chakra down to his feet. He took a deep breath in and walked to the tree nearest to him. The tree he chose had to of been at least 60 feet tall. He placed his feet on the tall tree and slowly began to walk up it. This was his first attempt and so far it was going well. That was until he lost his focus. He temporarily lost control of his chakra and began to slide down the tree. He was about 15 feet up so the fall wasn't to dangerous. Once Albel met the ground he though to himself, "Dammit, I lost focus. At least I managed to make it up farther than I originally anticipated." He put his hands together again and focused his chakra to his feet once more. He pulled out a kunai this time before climbing up the tree so he could mark how far he made it up. He placed his feet back on the tree and began walking again, slowly at first. As he quickened his pace he began to realize that it was becoming a bit more of a challenge to maintain his chakra control. He slowed down a bit to reapply his focus back to his feet. He made it about 25 feet this time before losing control. He quickly marked his place then pushed off the tree, flipping backwards. He gracefully landed onto the ground with little impact, then thought, "Maybe if I get a running start I could practice maintaining chakra at that speed, and possibly make it further up the tree." He began to run towards the tree, focusing his chakra at his feet once again. He hit the tree and sprinted upwards. He kept at the same pace as he went farther and farther up the tree. "So far, so good," he thought to himself. He kept running and running till he was at the top of the tree. "Wow, I can't believe that actually worked!" He said excitedly with a smile on his face. He sat on the top tree limb and rested against the tree. He was tired and completely out of breath. "Time for a break," he said to himself. Albel slowly climbed down the tree watching his steps so an accident wouldn't occur. He jumped down once he was close enough to the ground, then sat down in the grass, reached into his pack and pulled out some Senbei (Japanese Cracker.) He rested his back against the tree and began eating. He needed to regain his strength for his next part of training.
Albel was done resting and ready for his next part of training. He would work on his Surface Walking Technique. He walked to the nearby river. It was shallow and there would be no risk in falling in. Since he pretty much had his chakra control down. He assumed this training would be easier than running up a tree. Albel formed the signs to the surface walking technique, then focused his chakra into his feet again. He walked over to the river and placed his first foot on top of it. To his surprise his foot stayed afloat as he moved his other foot onto the river. He maintained his chakra and started to walk across the surface of the water. Albel then sped up his pace till he was at last running. He was still maintaining his chakra and all was going well. He had pretty much mastered the technique, so he decided to call it quits for this part of the training. He slowed down then walked towards the bank of the river. He stepped onto the land, and began walking out towards the beginning of the forest.
Next he was going to test his limits with the clan jutsu: the Shadow Imitation Technique. He wanted to increase the duration of the jutsu and was so far able to have it last for only five minutes. First and foremost he need a target to train on. He formed a few hand signs and used the Clone Technique (Doppelganger Technique.) He had the clone walk in front of him, he then made the hand sign to the shadow imitation technique. Albel's shadow darkened then quickly moved towards the clone, connecting to its shadow. He raised his hand and waved. As he anticipated the clone waved back, next Albel began to run. The clone ran with him. Then Albel stopped and so did the clone. "Good, everything is going how it should," he thought to himself. He stepped back and released the jutsu. The clone stayed in place as Albel stepped backwards, getting some distance from the clone. He had finally stepped back with a good amount of distance between him and his clone. He was now going to test how far he could get the technique to go while maintaining it. Albel made the hand sign, and his shadow became dark again, racing towards the clone. It successfully hit the clone, locking it in place. Albel held the jutsu for as long as he could. Soon 5 minutes went by. Then 7 minutes. Finally 10 minutes had arrived and Albel was becoming tired. His chakra was getting low, so he released the technique, then made the clone disappear. "10 minutes," he said to himself. 10 minutes was all he would need in a rough situation. Before he knew it he had passed out from all of that days training. He woke up about an hour and a half later. It was already dark out, so he decided to head home and return to sleep. He had walked out of the forest and towards the village. Finally arriving at his house, he went to his room and collapsed into his bed. He fell asleep as soon as his body hit the bed.
