Genin Exam

Genin Exam:

It was finally time for the young Hoshigaki to undergo his own Genin Exam to graduate from the Academy and begin his journey as a full fledged Shinobi of the village. Given his age he was definitely more excited for this then others mainly because at least if he succeed in passing this he would be a Genin and being a Genin at his age drew less eyes and stares then it did if he was an Academy Student at the age of nineteen. It was just another thing people spoke about and pointed out besides his size, so the sooner it was taken care of and resolved the quicker things can go back to the stuff he was more use too.
 
Bringing himself out of his own thoughts it was time to get ready for the day and begin the long walk to the Academy so he would be there on time, his morning routine was mainly some exercises to wake himself up, a shower to get cleaned up, some basic skin care mainly to make sure his skin wouldn’t dry out and cause issues, it was one thing for people with regular skin if he gets dry skin and allowed it to go on for to long it caused his scales to get brittle, sometimes it was a pain to be apart of the Hoshigaki clan but the benefits they got from their Bloodline was more then worth it in the long run. The enjoyment of being able to swim and explore the waters as much as you wished was like getting access to a whole other world that very few got to enjoy.
 
Now that he had gotten dressed in his typical garb and was all set for the walk across the Village as his home was as edge of the village as you could get without being outside the walls. The walk was a long one but honestly it was one filled with sights and people to interact with on the way there, Mako waved to those he knew and took in the sights that he could on his way to the academy. Thanks to his family’s company he knew a good chunk of the regular folk around here. Now he was almost to the academy and it was time to get on his game face, though he knew if he relaxed it to much it would scare some of the kids there after all he had shark like features and some kids thought he was literally a shark coming to get them for some reason. So he had to be aware of what he was presenting when he came to school, but at the end of the day it was just something he had to deal with. Now that he was in his class standing in the back because the seats were way to small for someone of his size, he waited for the instructor to show up so they could begin the process needed to take the exam.
 
From what he had heard and learned the exam would test their ability to use the Clone technique and the Transformation Technique both jutsus that Mako had spent plenty of time learning and mastery especially the Transformation technique, he could turn into basically perfect copies of things that unless you really knew the person or had those fancy eyes some people got from their bloodlines he was safe. So Mako was more then confident in his ability to show a passing grade for this exam, as long as it didn’t veer of the course of the past ones. With a bell chime the instructor came into the room and called attendance and went through the basic routine of school, but eventually it was time to explain what they would be doing for the exam and how they would be getting graded. It seemed that they would come in one at a time and display their mastery of the techniques and a group of three instructors would give a pass or fail to the student. So it was once more another waiting game of being near the middle of the roll call. It was times like this that Mako kind of wished he had a last name that started with an A so that he could just hurry up and get these things done with but it is what it is.
 
Eventually it was finally his turn, he had seen some kids crying as they had failed and others excited as they walked out showing off their Headband and promotion to genin. Now it was time for him to show his stuff. With his entrance into the room it was clear of obstacles and only a long desk at the front with the three instructors sitting at it discussing the prior student, when he entered the talking stopped and a few people checked their paperwork thinking that he was in the wrong place but once they had checked it was right for him to be there they went over the rules and explained what to do and gave Mako the go ahead to start his exam. First he did the needed handseals for Clone technique and once the clone appeared he had to do some basic movements that was expected of a clone of this level then he followed up with the transformation technique and turned the clone into one of the instructors which got a small applause due to its likeness and perfection. After that he dismissed the clone and awaited their decision, though he didn’t have to wait long and they let him know that he had passed the exam and was now a proud Genin of the village and handed him the items that you received on graduation which was a headband and some paperwork that showed  you had gained the promotion. It was a basic thing but now it was his and he no longer needed to come to the school.
 
Now he needed to go home and let his parents know about this and rest for the day.
