Brightblinder

Name: Brightblinder
Appearance: Brightblinder has a blade length of 75 centimeters and a handle 25 centimeters long. The blade is gold in colour, with lightning etched along it's length. The handle and blade are connected by a guard shaped like dragon, made of gold. The hilt is white, wrapped in gold, and capped with a flame also made of gold. Accompanying is a sheath made of wood, specially treated and inlaid with gold.

Backstory: Anastasia needed a new weapon; not because the ones she had weren't good, but because they weren't suited for the shift in her fighting style that she would need if she was to progress beyond herself. This realisation came to her in a dream, along with the idea of the blade that she would need.

She was forever grateful to her family making them for her. Now that they had passed on their forging skills to her, she decided that it was time to make one of her own, using the same metal that was used in the forging of the rest of her equipment, allowing her skills and essence to flow into it. A weapon properly forged by its user had no greater bond.

Trait: Blinding Light

For up to 3 posts in a thread, by spending 20 AP per post, the wielder of Brightblinder is able to radiate Light Chakra through the blade causing a bright encasing aura of light around the blade. When swinging this blade toward opponents that cannot see through the light, they are unable to benefit from their reflex speed bonus based on their speed. Being able to see past the blinding light or awareness of the blade requires a sensory technique with power greater than the health of Brightblinder.
