Helping the Holy [Mission]

Mission specs:

Aiming to earn some extra coin to help his mother, Ashborn decided to take part in a couple of missions. Ironically, the first one he picked would be right up his alley. "I never imagined there'd be a task that would fit me like a glove" the young necromancer spoke as he went over the contents of the mission details. The spiritually inclined were looking for people who wanted to bring a delivery of food, clothing, and medicine to a place of worship within Hoshigakure, however, due to the strained relationship between the shinobi and religious folk, it was important not to reveal their affiliation as it could result in them refusing help.

With that in mind, who better than Ashborn to play said role? The young Yamaguchi, far from the typical shinobi, would be perfectly capable of playing the part. Not wearing the Hoshigakure headband, as that would be a dead giveaway, the emissary made his way to the location of the organization. Arriving well on time, even a bit earlier than agreed, it became clear that his cover worked perfectly. "As I expected, they don't suspect a thing" the necromancer thought to himself. Wasting little to no time he quickly gathered the different kid of goods he had to deliver before beginning his journey to the place of worship.

As he headed to his destination, the location described in the mission details, Ashborn made sure to maintain a casual pace, not allowing himself to leave even a single hint that he was a shinobi in case there were watchful eyes looking from the shadows. Even if he wasn't the prime example of how a shinobi should be, the Yamaguchi still wanted to avoid worsening the already sour relationship between the spiritually inclined and the Hoshigakure forces. In the middle of his journey, the necromancer decided to take a little break, taking the opportunity to look at all the goods he had to deliver. Food, clothing, medicine. For some reason he found it hard to grasp the fact that there were still people who were in need of these necessities.

Nevertheless or whatever the situation or circumstances, it was simply a mission he had to complete. So after a couple of minutes of catching his breath, Ashborn would return to the task at hand. Another hour would pass before he finally arrived at the place of worship, noticing it was somewhere he hadn't been before. Not that he had any reason to, he wasn't exactly a believer nor was he the faithful type. If there was something or someone he believed in, perhaps it would have been the God of Death. Religion aside, he would enter the building and look for anyone fitting the description of a priest. Once he found the person he was looking for the necromancer would simply accept his payment as he continued to uphold his act of hiding his shinobi affiliation.

With the transaction complete, all that was left was for Ashborn to return and fill in the mission report.
