Quinn had taken up to doing missions themselves more recently. There was a multitude of issues and problems that the village of Otogakure was encountering and Quinn was not one to sit idle. With work and circumstances forgiving enough, the Forgemaster found time in between their normal duties to be able to complete more missions available to the village and aid in its growth. That was always priority number one for the Blacksmith of Otogakure. This day Quinn had scheduled a multitude of missions to accomplish but did not feel like it would be that difficult or problematic to worry about. On the long list of tasks to accomplish, the first consisted of an escort service of an architect. Knowing that their family did a healthy portion of the work in the village, Quinn was curious how this individual would fare and be like for the growth of the village, a one 'Jamil Proctor' who had a loud mouth apparently.

Quinn encountered the bloke not after too long, in fact, they heard him coming a ways away. It was a wild world to consider that through all the noise of the village, a lone individual was a root cause of commotion and issues when it came to hearing them. Already Quinn could feel the potential headache the man poised to be for this mission. A target for assault, a target for mental assault, and a proprietor of headaches, how many roles could a single man fill? Alongside his vocals that could be heard was a small entourage of what looked like aspiring architects following the individual as he spatted about the world around him. Things he liked, things he did not like, and other objects of interest that were shoddy in craftsmanship or excellent works for those ill-equipped to handle the labor of construction.

As Quinn approached the man, they already spotted a few followers in the group and heaved a sigh as they approached the man, who was no older than a decade on them. "Quinn Foster. Escort. Genin of Otogakure. Blacksmith. Sister to Foster Construction. Owner of Fosters' Forge." They rambled overwhelming the group with their introduction. "Persuader of Departure. Deterrent for assault. Aware of problems!" They then added shouting in hopes of reiterating to the man the danger he was readily in alongside letting those who were following the man that they were in fact aware of their presence and intent. "Destroyer of Balls." They turned around to begin their escort of the individual known as Jamil. Many of the younger individuals following along felt the words that Quinn stated to their core, becoming silent for a brief period as Jamil simply laughed and began to follow Quinn through the streets of Otogakure. With the individuals following still, Quinn rubbed their temples as today was not quite as simple as they had hoped for.

Jamil did in fact have merit in his title and professional fame, as much of the commentary that Quinn heard from from the mule's mouth were things that even Quinn thought about or considered. Most of their conversation in reference to understanding was from their brother who was involved in a lot of the more modern construction within the village. Most of the praise came from buildings that the Forgemaster was aware that their sibling business was involved in. It gave a light smile to their step as Quinn transitioned to the back of the group rather than the front, allowing Jamil to walk himself to his intended destination within the village. There was a large volume of buildings that needed attention, though Quinn was not aware of which inherently as they assumed most of the construction needs were being met and approved through Kaito's directive and other village elders or leaders. Perhaps it was one of the clans that left in Sunagakure's exodus that requested such an esteem service as most natives were isolationist in nature.

Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise as Quinn began to see the trackers back on the trail of the Architect they were escorting. Breathing in, Quinn felt like it was an adequate time to try things out and figure out if this was the right time to expand on their capabilities. With that said and done, however, Quinn spotted one make a lunging leap toward the man with a sword in hand. Swift as a coursing river with the strength of raging fire, the Forgemaster showcased the alertness and dedication to their arts in a small moment as the blade was deflected, the attack slammed into the ground and a swing from Quinn left them stunned on the ground. With ropes in hand, they tied the attacked and began to carry them over their shoulder through the village, a strong deterrent to the rest of the group that aimed to attack. In hopes of bringing the focus onto themselves, Quinn was aware that this would make the others think twice or aim for themselves first over the Architect.

With the end of the road in sight, literally, Quinn chuckled and realized the reason for the architect Jamil to be here was to review and help the Skybridge, one of the few bridges that connect the main floating island of Otogakure to the other ones in the sky. This was a huge priority fix that required a better base structure because of the unique situation that was within the village. Receiving aid from such a well-established architect to bring in the community culture with other construction within the village was an appropriate response in Quinn's eyes. At the time of arrival, other shinobi were present and took over the escort and protection service being provided by the village. Quinn with a now conscious man in their arms, gave another chop to the back of his neck, falling limp once more. It was time to report in and hand off the individual to the village to find out who would be aware of the Architect's travels and why they would still seek to target even within Otogakure's walls.

The next two tasks provided by Quinn's list of things to accomplish to do involved construction and physical labor, excellent options for the blacksmith to showcase their abilities. Of the two, it appeared Quinn, that the work required would take them close to home. Although on good relations with some of their family members, the Forgemaster still had reservations about handling and dealing with others within their family. As much as convincing the family to let them take over the forge over closing it forever, the blacksmith tended to avoid follow-up conversations due to the nature of how they have turned around the business. Today with a mission to help with some minor construction efforts, Quinn was acutely aware of the location and fiddled that morning with their attire. Their headband was shined and spotless on their upper left arm and the rest of their clothes were as pressed and fresh as they could be.

The person requesting assistance is actually their grandmother. Quinn seeing that felt hurt and pain from the realization that the family had turned to some rough times to require assistance of even a shinobi to aid with fixing the old family home. Accepting the mission without a second thought, Quinn figured it was because they could not trust others with such an important and personal task. After sitting down when they got home from accepting the mission, the Forgemaster stared at the request and felt the frustration inside them as they had taken it without simply reaching out and asking the family about it. They were going to get to the bottom of this one way or another once they arrived and helped the Foster Family's eldest member. Determination from escorting still in their mind now they did not have an unconscious attacker on their shoulder, Quinn made their way home. Not to Fosters' Forge where they resided, but to their family home.

Arriving, Quinn felt nervous as they could get out while seeing the home in even better condition than they left it. The family had improved in the years that Quinn had been on their own and thinking about it, they also did not press into Quinn's life as they developed the forge. Curious about what the construction was for, Quinn knocked on the door to get more information as it was obvious that their brother was already there and had begun working. The Forgemaster was surprised when their grandmother was the one who answered the door nonchalantly and welcomed them in. Guiding Quinn upstairs to the Fosters' complex it was apparent a multitude of home improvements were being done to the home and more were still in the works. Considering the scale and need, Quinn was surprised that their nephew did not bring up the needs or demands of the family. Considering the other two workers were also extended family, Quinn was baffled by the progress unbeknownst to them.

When finally pressing what they were there for, Grandmother Foster simply stated, "To help, of course, deary. Your brother has been wanting to surprise you but I knew better than that. You've always been one to focus too hard so I figured posting a 'mission' would get your attention." She smiled slyly as she attended to a small chair moving stuff to sit down. Grandmother Foster elaborated on the multitude of work that Quinn's brother had done in the village post the arrival of Shinobi and the establishment of Otogakure from the unknown village they once were. From there it appeared that when the construction business boomed in need, the rest of the family moved into that market from others to support the eldest of the next generation. With Quinn being the youngest it never came to them to do much of anything other than to keep working to find their niche. It was a wild concept to hear that they did not ask Quinn for assistance.

Shortly after their grandmother explained it, their brother showed up and gave a pat on the back, "Don't mind her. It was my choice to not ask for your help. At this point, we just got to your old room and figured you would be the best to help out with improvements and getting it fixed up. You may not sleep here anymore but you always will have a bed to rest your head if you need time away from the Forge. You're doing great for yourself sis', don't forget we're looking out for ya." He said maneuvering lumber past them. Shocked at minimum, Quinn nodded and wiped a tear off their face before jumping straight into the thick of sorting through what had already finished and then started to aid and help with the project.

Many words were exchanged from passing family members and extended family, apparently, the crew at the Fosters' Forge was now here and helping too, supporting their boss and cousin. For one supporting and helping their aunt. When pressed about the business, they scoffed at Quinn and helped lift more lumbar in place to construct Quinn's new room. Not foreign to construction themselves, Quinn fell into the rhythm and routine provided by the family members around them. It was indeed a minor construction job to any individual who was not part of the family but for Quinn this was the highest honor and task they could have accepted that day. Being surrounded by family reconstructing their bedroom put tears into the Forgemaster's eyes as rivets and billets were used and made and formed into the materials needed. With their keen eye for the materials needed, their older brother was quick to demand resources from different parts of the family and skills as well. As the foreman to the development of the task at hand, Quinn bade him farewell once it was all done and he departed to move items back where they belonged.

Hearing that the house was a slow project due to demands, it was obvious that there was more to do but for Quinn that would be a  different day to be of aid to the family, there was much more for them to do and accomplish today.

Reporting to the Gates of Otogakure, it was a strange request but an important one to undertake. The mission here was to simply help and watch the Guards of Otogakure perform their duty and aid in any way possible. There was a multitude of objectives listed to keep track of but it was not anything too crazy or wild for Quinn to consider as the needs of the village were important and as much as last time Quinn handled loading items in and out of caravans at the edge of town was well before the development of the village, they were interested in how the process worked now. Aware of the village's defense that was active and present now that stood as a safeguard for the citizens, there were and had to be exceptions made somehow that the guards were making.

Arriving early to their shift as a Guard Intern, the Forgemaster witnessed a small altercation that had taken place. Apparently, two caravans collided due to the village's defense unintentionally and the guards were settling the dispute between the two merchants. One had goods that were covered and protected to a heavy degree that got Quinn's suspicions raised whereas the other, a very much apparent farmer, stood there looking to simply unload some extra crops to the village for continued support and protection. With the disparity between the two present and relevant to the issue, the farmer was on the backpedal as the merchant pressed for payment for the damages to the cart, the goods, and to himself for what occurred. Obviously not as well off to pay off the 10,000 ryo tab that was unloaded onto his lap, the farmer had rushed to the gates for aid and assistance.

Once that issue was resolved, Quinn took up their post with the guard and witnessed a lot of things that were interesting, Surprisingly a few people stumbled and wandered by the gates under the influence of the defense. Guards kindly nudged them away and kept their vigil post at the gates without much stuff to do. Maybe found the time best passed by practicing simple skills and doing small bouts of training in rotations. Some groups seemed to have had seniority when it came to passing time whereas others did not. Observing was an interesting task to be given as the ability to dictate who came and who went was a surprisingly simple job. Since most that were supposed to come came with the charm required, it was simple checks for the guards inspecting items and missives on what was being brought in and out of the village. The job itself was simple until other issues came into play such as some stray shuriken being launched from deep within the woods.

No guards were hurt from the shuriken but a traveler with a charm was heading to the gates being attacked but local banditry. It was obvious they were lost and aggravated so once they found someone they probably leapt at the chance to get to where people were. The guards were quick to act and the individual was swept into the gates before they closed. With the individual safe, the guard that Quinn was shadowing instructed them to step aside to let the gate guards handle the situation. As quickly as a fight had started and broke out, it ended without much difficulty either. It was apparent the guards took their position seriously and offered kindness when needed and overt hostility or suspicions were not a premise for their actions. None of them complained or seemed indifferent to the world around them as they stood there awaiting for something to occur. As much as Otogakure did not have an open-door policy, they did tend to treat others with respect and dissuade those causing issues from continuing to do so.

With that problem resolved, the waiting game began again. This time Quinn's guard that they were shadowing was up to bat for their time for a reprieve. Following them to the side, it appeared they had some practice dummies set up and worn out by the constant use of the guard. It was baffling to see the procedures so calm in the village even for such a vital role in the safety of the villagers. Although the village was the only Shinobi village in a few countries, the knowledge of its existence was sure to be aware of others out there in the world, and at the slight concern about preparedness, the guard noticed Quinn's expression and explained why they did what they did while on shift. The purpose was to stay limber and avoid standing fatigue. For them, this was as much as being ready and prepared, as it was hitting a baseball in a batting cage to get in the swing and muscle memory of the motion. This action although possibly seen as slacking off was keeping their bodies in motion so should they need to spring into action they were ready to go.

With the realization of this, Quinn took mental notes to keep in mind for the next day when they needed to bring up lessons for Taijutsu for the Academy as they were going to be a substitute once more. This was a vital piece of information and hopefully, one that would elate kids to know that even adults and trained shinobi can still find time to relax and play while working. The interesting part to Quinn was when they asked them to bat for them for a second, giving no other reason to not participate, they chose to do so. Having fun while working and improving their own relationships with others was something they were working on and it was obvious at this point that they've been succeeding well enough and transitioning well into the Genin role and the Shinobi World. Once their 'internship' was finished, Quinn waved them goodbye as they approached the next task on their list. Another remodeling job except this time was a restaurant that required full assistance from the shinobi who picked up the task. Without batting an eye, Quinn moved forward towards the next construction job.

Assisting with construction efforts twice in one day made for an exceptionally long day. There was indeed a lot of physical effort being made and done by the Forgemaster today. From escorting, to construction, to guard duty, Quinn found themselves back to where they kind of started the day due to the demands of the escort were thankfully minimal, though they paid little mind to the escorted. Next up on the chopping block was in fact not a chopping block being requested but aid to fixing up a once popular restaurant that needs a facelift with all the changes the past few months with the founding of the village. When the arrived at the place, it was boarded up and taped off indicating a rough construction zone was put into place to allow for workers to do what they need to do to help get this place up to code. Seeing the owner, Quinn flagged them down, to begin with what was going to be needed of them. As a physically fit individual, this job would take some time but likely required them to do most of the heavy lifting due to it as well. Taking spurts of their energy to focus on their breathing techniques, Quinn knew they could handle more and more than just what was asked.

As a quiet foodie themselves, Quinn made an effort to put forth as best conduct that they could while aiding this owner. From moving lumber around the location to removing furniture, Quinn did it all without asking a question, bickering about the work, or even complaining about the heat that was setting in the area. Although the Land of Sky was more north and encountered snow regularly, the blistering sun was overhead upon this day and the back and forth without a proper building to keep cool, took its toll on most of the other workers. The Forgemaster remained strong in this department as their work experience as a blacksmith allowed them to continue their workload and push forward beyond that of other workers. Picking up others' items even to help move them out of the building to get it gutted so the materials and new furniture being delivered would have a place to be put and eventually set up for the reopening of the restaurant by Rordan Gamsey. It was a sight to behold with the dream and vision that was being advocated here.

With the bulk of the removal work done, it was time to help get the new furniture inside the restaurant... after they fixed the interior's structure. It was an older building and the struts themselves had seen better days. Aiding with getting the beams in place to take on the stress of the weight, Quinn worked quickly and adequately to the development of getting it done today. There were some questions on how the Forgemaster was able to keep up but it was not anything crazy or wild for them to consider when it came down to the work ethic they provided. It was a baffling crazy amount of energy being exerted by Quinn alone as compared to the rest of the time. Thus showing how sturdy, reliable, and dedicated the shinobi of Otogakure really were to their mission. With much left to worry about after the struts, Quinn moved on to help replace the walls and siding of the building. The day was nearing its end as the sun began to crest lower towards the horizon. To make sure that Chef Gamsey was ready for opening the following day, Quinn doubled their efforts to help.

Eventually came time to get the furniture in place inside. Most of the moving crew had just dumped the tables and chairs outside and left it to the crew there under Chef Gamsey's orders to get them inside or organized in any way. Quinn was fortunate enough to have dedicated enough energy to not get their ass chewed out by the chef. Considering they were primarily inside when it was delivered, there was not much Quinn could have done to help interject in the delivery process to get them to help out. That aside by now, the needs were now much on timeliness as once the sun set for the evening there was not much more that could be accomplished as afterwards the light necessary would be significantly limited. Pushing into overdrive, Quinn took up a more active leader mantle and began to bark orders toward the crew that was helping initially. Taking on this new position while equally moving furniture around to Chef Gamsey's orders and plans for the layout, the Forgemaster started also being called the 'Iron Chef' for how much they had carried the renovation in the afternoon.

Once the tables and chairs were set alongside the kitchen's appliances that arrived shortly after the dining space was fully furnished, Quinn took a few steps back to look at the handiwork they were able to accomplish. There was not much thought left in their head as Chef Gamsey took a straight line to their position looking at the restaurant. Extending a firm hand, Quinn accepted it and thanked the chef for his work and dedication to the food within the village and for helping them improve these nightmarish situations that have come to light since the recent upgrades across the village. A mutual respect between the two formed for their hard work and dedicated as Chef Rordan Gamsey gave Quinn a firm nod of approval with the handshake he gave them. With all said and done, Quinn also indicated excited to see what the restaurant was to be like come tomorrow and planned to visit after they finished their tasks for the day and they had high hopes for the menu that Chef Gamsey was going to be instituting here. Upon the full completion and the sign being put up for the new business, Quinn bid the crew farewell for the night as they went home back to the forge to rest for the next day. It was once again an early wake up to be planned with being a substitute teacher once more.

WC: 1,026, TWC: 4,094 | Mission WC: 1,026 / 1,000

Waking up the following day after completing the multitude of missions the previous day, Quinn woke up prepared and ready for the day mentally. The task at hand was to go back to the Academy one more time to help substitute. At this rate, it was going to be a huge shift and change from the previous two times they had gone but that was fine by them. This time it was a specialist course being requested and asked as a mission. It was not their first pick for what to teach since it was their secondary specialty but they knew they could impart good knowledge and understanding to the next generation who could benefit from it. Preparing for this morning, Quinn took a different approach as they ended up wearing a simple tank top and shorts while they wrapped up their wrists and hands with cloth. It will be a lesson to discuss once they get to that point in time at the academy. It is truly surprising how little in general sparing is discussed or talked about as a genin, and Quinn hopes to make that change for the future.

Once their hands were wrapped and they were prepared for their journey to the academy, Quinn packed a bag with gauze and bandages on the off chance they might be needed. Teaching Taijutsu to the students might end with them bruised or battered to the point of needing to showcase how to properly tend to their injuries as well. Perhaps it would not be needed but if there was a chance for that to be needed, then it would contribute to the teaching. Quinn being more practical, knew the best teacher was experience and if they were going to teach Taijutsu of all the specialties that could be taught, then experience was the best option they had to offer. Once departing from the forge, the Forgemaster kept their momentum from the previous day into this day.

Running into the old ex-genin, now presently active Genin, on the way to the academy pleased Quinn. Stopping to discuss the changes that they had decided on, they chatted in the way to the academy and went over the procedure that was going to happen today for the course. With the idea of practice, Quinn asked if they were occupied and if they would be willing to help with the course it would be better to spar and show the practices of sparing with another genin and not a student. The genin thought about it knowing full well how Quinn quinn-handled them previously and figured if they held back to show students that it could be a good learning opportunity for them. Unfortunately for them, they were wrong in how Quinn was going to go about the practice. Fortunately for Quinn, the genin agreed to assist with their exercises for the day. With a companion to work with and teach with acquired, the duo moved forward into the academy prepared for the lesson that Quinn had planned. With their hands and wrists wrapped already, the Forgemaster was excited to be able to contribute and aid in the development of future martial artists or practitioners.

Signing into the teacher’s roster for the day at the administrative office, Quinn designated the other genin as an aide for them for the day to allow their participation in the affairs. Considering Quinn’s overall rapport with the faculty at this point was clear and obvious to the other genin thankfully enough which makes it easy to get them included. Once the paperwork to get them included was finished and Quinn wrote up the lesson plan and got it approved by the senior instructor, the duo departed and made their way to the field to get ready for the students. With the wraps prepared, the two talked over the order of operations for the course they setup for the day. First, they were going to show, advocate, and explain common sparring practices. From there the two would work on getting the students set up with their own wraps and then from there have them practice the motions of doing them themselves so they could work on it at home or be able to do it when they practice and train. They nice comfortable with wrapping and the motions then they would get the spars set up as pairs and then through all the concepts proposed together. It was a matter of effort and time to get them set up to work towards that for the students who were to seek this school of the shinobi arts.

When the students came out to the yard they were equally surprised and ecstatic to see that Quinn had returned to the Academy to teach some more. A few started to ask questions about the random genin who they had not met but also knew they were talking about quitting before. With introductions underway, Quinn observed the Genin smile and be happy meeting the students and assuring them that quitting was not the right choice. Letting it be a learning moment, Quinn reintroduced the genin as their aide for today's lessons. With the encouragement of the students, the lessons were soon to begin and from there, a multitude of questions came flying back towards Quinn and the Genin. From, why were their hands wrapped but the Genin's were not? Should they change their attire for their exercises? Was the Genin going to get beat up for his woes? Of which Quinn promptly answered none of them before the quiet one raised their hand to ask a question, "Are we going to do a physical activity today?" Quinn smiled and nodded as they started the first lesson which was about physical care.

Pigging backing from their 'Basics' lesson, Quinn began to talk about physical education first before going into specific training. From balanced diets to general exercise, the Forgemaster explained the difference between skill sets does not beget ignoring other fields of the Shinobi Arts. Elaborating that anyone can benefit from the other specialties, some students seemed perplexed by the introduction to the class this time around. Quinn not skipping a beat got the kids up and had them form into a few lines. The first exercise was to expose endurance to the children as they took turns jogging around the school's field. With the preference that the leader of the line set the pace. Anyone who wished to change it would need to speed up to take over the line and then set the pace. Many kids laughed as a mad scramble to be first started to occur but before the time was up for them to keep doing this exercise, the first group of kids lay on the ground. "Fail." Quinn stated with a smile as the group stared and blinked blankly at them. "Huh?? You didn't say this was a test!" The Forgemaster promptly responded, "Everything is a test. Nothing is never not one. Always play. Always have fun. Do not forget. The Task at hand." They ushered them to the rest of the group and told them they would have another chance to try again at the end of this part of the lesson.

As the next group of students attempted to do so, they didn't scramble from the start and started out relatively fast for the group. The leader ended up dragging the rest of them behind them behind. Quinn took note of this student to see if they were an individual who would be more inclined towards Taijutsu to make sure to pair them with someone who was a good match later down the road. As the time near, everyone but the leader dropped to the ground as they kept going. "Fail." Quinn staccato'd out as the leader turned around and gave an exasperation about them saying something. Quinn gave a smack on the head for that one before kneeling to match their eyes. "Leaders lead. If you are in front. You check behind. Leading nothing? Not a leader." With that lesson learned the new group was also offered a redo at the end. The third group stepped up and began like the others except they just walked. It appeared they had talked about their game plan to make it through the time without overexerting themselves. Quinn smirked as they began to walk behind the person at the back of the line. Not doing anything but definitely standing overhead of them. The student in the back picked up the pace and started pushing the one in front of them. Turning back the rest of the line began to walk faster as Quinn began setting the pace for them. Eventually, the leader set a pace that Quinn was happy with and walked out of the line as they continued. By the time that they finished, Quinn gave a clap. "Pass. Smart choice. Start slow. Wrong choice. Should remember task. Said to jog. Not to walk. Still a pass."

With the group's better understanding of the requirements that Quinn pushed forth, it was clear and simple what needed to be done. Two more groups attempted and succeeded before the first two got a repeat chance. After learning their lesson for the exercise the whole class ended up passing but felt the rigor that Quinn put them through. With the idea of endurance in mind there were a total of 4 individuals among the students that stood out to Quinn and made new groups of 4 with them as one. "Now more to know." Quinn started as they began teaching the understanding of why they wrapped their hands and wrists getting into a bit of medical knowledge. This actually came from the fact that they boxed with their brother when they were younger and needed to rest their hands before getting back to the forge. Elaborating on how depending on how hard one could punch or throw their arms, a lot of things can occur that could damage their body. Citing the 'Basics' course they taught, Quinn gave a small example of punching a tree that was in the yard, a lot of damage could be seen just from a light jab from the Forgemaster as compared to the other Genin present. With the difference shown, Quinn would unwrap their hand to show light blistering of their knuckles as compared to the other genin. "Will teach how to wrap." Quinn added as they rewrapped there's quickly before getting wraps and handing them out to each student. With the general size of the arms of students being equal, Quinn was able to stretch how much wrapping material was needed for teaching.

It took a while for the students to learn how much they really needed but had fun at the same time which was fine and understandable to Quinn. Helping guide them through the process, the other genin was helpful and supportive to the proceedings that they had once tried to persuade others away from. There was a multitude of options present and available for them to benefit from now as it appeared they too found a better niche field to familiarize themselves with. Once all the students were wrapped up in their arms and hands, Quinn moved to the actual practice of sparring. The procedure that was taught in general was a simple one to follow but was always important to remember. To start Qiunn quizzed the class for any who watched the Sound Tournament. A few hands raised, of which the four that Quinn identified were 100% the ones who were more interested in the physical aspects of being a shinobi. Nodding, Quinn followed it up with whether they knew what the hand signs used by the participants were for or meant before and after they fought. A few students blurted out answers of random proportions. From showing ignorance to tradition, there was a multitude of close answers but close only counted in horseshoes and exploding tag balls. Elaborating the practice is from tradition, it is also a sign of respect and friendliness. Explaining that even when shinobi spar, it is important to remember the end goal is to win but more to the point the end goal is to help learn and train together.

The idea and concept were not a wild one to comprehend for the students so Quinn and the Genin demonstrated the procedure. Setting themselves 5 meters apart, the two gave each other the Seal of Confrontation and smiled as they began. Starting out with simple strikes and blocks, the students were wowed by the showcase. Nothing was exceptionally crazy till Quinn began to utilize more of their Taijutsu prowess with some unique techniques that weren't shown. The difference in physical skill was obvious between the two and Quinn did not let up on the other genin, however, he had a point to prove for himself as he did not fight back the last time Quinn went on him for trying to persuade others to also stop. With that drive in mind, he continued to keep up with Quinn to the best of his abilities before eventually being overwhelmed. With no lethal blows being presented in this toned-down spar, it ended when the Genin threw a hand in the air, exhausted and overworked by Quinn who had just broken a sweat at this time. He shook his head and gave a bow before closing with the Seal of Reconciliation and then Quinn returned the same motion and action. With their spar done, the Genin rubbed their whole body as they returned to the back of the class to keep an eye on the students while Quinn continued the sparring exercise for the students to practice.

The first group to volunteer was a duo of girls from the 4 that Quinn grouped up. Both seemed determined to showcase their strengths as they set themselves 5 meters apart and started throwing punches. Quinn immediately stepped in and grabbed both and hung them in the air away from each other. "Nope. Try again." They articulated looking at the two. It appeared they had bad blood or some other reason to be vicious and aggressive in this manner. Perhaps something to bring up to the Senior Instructor later down the road. Until the point in time where that could be informed, Quinn watched the two diligently as they restarted and performed the seal before going at it again. There was an obvious gap between the two but that did not deter the weaker of them to stop anytime soon. At a certain point Quinn had to forcibly stop both of them before knocking them out. Heaving out a sigh, Quinn picked both of them up before turning to the class. "Excessive force in spars. Not allowed. Should I see it again." They started saying before leaving it with a glare. The other Genin picking up on the queue, continued to have the spars begin and for the other students to watch. Quinn made a note to have the other two in that group of four for last as they took the two girls to he Academy's infirmary to get them checked out before having them sent back to class.

Once dropped off, Quinn took it upon themselves to report this to the Senior Instructor right away. When asked if their class was unattended when they entered, Quinn informed them that the aide they brought was covering for their brief absence due to the circumstances. After filling out the paperwork and notes for the Senior Instructor, Quinn informed him that they would return at the end of the day to describe in better detail and elaborate further as per what was the correct order of operations. When that was done, Quinn stopped by to see the two girls resting in the infirmary and left them be. It was time they talked some of it out and perhaps this was a good catalyst for the two to improve their relationship. Either way to that, Quinn returned to the class to see that the other Genin had stepped well into the teaching role themselves and had gotten a few spars done and out of the way before their return. With the Forgemaster's presence seen by the students, they all stiffed before they waved and smiled at the group.

The rest of the sparring lesson went on without any more issues or problems. All the students learned the seals quickly and the other Genin stepped up appropriately when called on and Quinn gave them a pat on the back. It was a great day to see the growth of so many from the students to the once-lost and now-found Genin who stood there as their aide for the day. They picked up on the lesson and did not deviate from it either which made Quinn very proud of them. It was getting close to the last part of the lesson and Quinn decided to use it as a teaching moment with the last two that were left. With the final spar about to begin, the Forgemaster decided to turn things up a little differently as the two seemed adequately prepared for each other as a firm hand on the aide's shoulder gave them a clue on what was about to happen. As the two settled into the dirt-made sparring ring, Quinn positioned them on one side of the circle with Quinn and the other Genin on the same side. "Both? One of us? If one, which?" They simply asked the two, giving them a unique option to close out the day before the wrap-up occurred. The two discussed for a while before locking in on the answer they had. "Both!" They shouted forming the appropriate sign to the duo. Smiling, Quinn was ecstatic to see the gumption of the two as the pair had not sparred on the same side unlike the students whom likely knew a bit better about their partner's strength and weakness.

Quinn seeing through this knew the course for the duo as they reassured the Genin that they were fine taking a more offensive approached against the two. With the substitute and aide giving the appropriate response sign back, the spar began. The Genin took the lead against the two as Quinn stood behind and used their speed to help deflect and defend their partner in the spar. It was an overwhelming difference that Quinn displayed as the Genin took an easier approach on tactic on the two. Quickly the students realized what was happening and changed up the attitude they originally had and went for a dive against the Genin in hopes to get one of the two to forfeit and win them the match. Seeing through this tactic, the Red-headed quickly moved to bring one down with the Genin being able to subdue the second with no other outside factors. With the final spar done, the final Seal of Reconciliation was shown and the class fully gathered. Quinn advocated for each of them to train their bodies better to keep up with everything they saw today. With the Genin being exhausted at the end, they stood and remained though the kids were tuckered out and ready to go home. It was a good lesson as the two girls came back out for the closing remarks of the Taijutsu-focused day.

Once the wrap-up was done and the students learned how to unwrap their hands and wrists, Quinn gathered the cloth before giving the light pat on the back to the aide who came with them that day. It was a huge difference and change from when Quinn first encountered them but it was not a huge disparity in the attitude. It was a shift in thought and Quinn was fine with that change of pace for them. It showed growth and good character true to what Otogakure wished to cherish and support. There was a multitude of options present and available for those who wished to support the cause of unity and harmony in the Land of Sky, but it was up to the individual to make the judgment call on what was right for them. With class dismissed, the two made it back to the Teacher's Lounge to discuss what occurred and happened that day. The two girls were sent home but did not discuss further with Quinn the issues since it was not their responsibility or concern realistically as a substitute. Their only hope was that they would correct their behavior.

All said and done and chatted up at the end of the day there were a few more things to cross off the list for Quinn. While walking back the way they came and went normally, they stopped by a restaurant they had just finished helping rebuild. With a long line out the door, Quinn offered to treat the Genin who had helped them that day to a meal. As the two approached, none other than Chef Rordan Gamsey was standing outside and spotted the pair. Greeting Quinn informally, the other genin was frozen in shock as Quinn simply walked in past the line and waved for their aide of the day to come on inside with them. "My treat." They said warmly as the two entered the restaurant and enjoyed a fresh new menu in a new atmosphere that mirrored the changes in the community to a tee. In Quinn's mind there was nothing more amazing to see than the growth of the village, the changes in the people, and the future. With a light toast, their day ended finally.
