Nova Tournament Youta Shinkou vs Yamato Shinrei

Youta would walk out to a new arena being kind of rushed by a referee to the tunnel he needed me to go through. he would walk out and see boulders to his right and grass to his left. He would see Yamato and would position himself 20 Meters away and would activate what would look like monster but would look a little more blue. He would be 25 m from the wall looking in yamatos direction. "You ready Yamato" Youta would say and as the dark energy would wisp off of him and if yomato were to even glance at him. His vision would start to go black and Yamato would lose vision all together. If Yamato were to lose his vision Youta would move 5 meters into the grass and duck down below the grass level. and prepare to see what Yamato does.

Seeing that it was his turn in the arena…Yamato stepped away from the observers platform and made his way to the designated arena and was out on the field in no time as his speed allowed him freedom of movement. He would enter the arena and stand ten meters from the center of the fighting arena, dressed in his armor, katana at his left hip as he noticed Youta walk through the tunnel. Taking in account what he saw in the last fight along with what he witnessed when on patrol…his file allowed Yamato a certain level of understanding and he did not meet the young one’s eyes. He instead watched the shadow cast on the ground as he would walk out onto the arena floor, the concealment of his eyes meant that Youta could not see into his helmet and get a glimpse where his eyes were pointing. Feeling a surge of chakra and a question. Yamato would activate his own aura. A flurry of colored chakra concentrates around the user's back, looking like a mass of peacock feathers made of wispy energy would form before he would speak one word. “Ready.” Once the last syllable would leave his lips he would whistle the signs; Boar -> Tiger -> Ox -> Dragon ->Monkey -> Bird at his top speed of 100.

This would have him immediately activate Swamp of the Underworld , placing the point of origin 5 meters away from him as he also utilized theflight capabilities of the Peacock Spirit Blessing. The swamp would form at a speed of 145, with a power of 145 and an area that would encompass the entirety of the 50 meter in diameter arena. He breathed slowly and made sure that he still stared where the shadow was cast originally. “If you do not wish to be buried or to be nailed to the wall…I suggest you surrender now Youta, there will not be another warning.” He would say, preparing another barrage. His hand never left the hilt of his blade, yet he did not draw…yet.

Youta would see Yamato activate a enhancer in the form of the technique peacock. As soon as he does Youta would break his Fuinjutsu seal and sky blue designs form all over his body. Running 5 meters from the point towards while making the handsigns at the same time as Yamato he would form in this orderRat,Hare,Bird,Dragon,Bird,Dog at his new speed of 130. He would then wait for the swamp to get 5 meters from him and all of a sudden all the energy would disappear from Yamato’s technique. He would then reach down and put his palm on the ground. Youta now being 5 meters from Yamato would reach down and activate zeil moving at 240 speed with 240 power. A purple seal would expand 30 ft radius. Hoping to catch Yamato in his curse seal. “I will never give up . I might not win but I will make you earn it.”

As Swamp of the Underworld spreads out and his declaration happens, he starts his next barrage as he stated (in last post). With Youta unable to activate his seal and trying to run forward. He is absorbed into the Swamp of the Underworld at a speed of 72 which drags him down and under the ground, 5 meters before Yamato. The depth of the swamp is 30 meters, he would take the damage of 145 power, while also stopping his casting of hand seals. His words would not have a chance to be heard as Yamato would activate two seals on his body. The SpellBinding Seal, encompassing a 25 meter radius around him, while also activating the dark river breaking seal, floating just above the surface of the swamp so he would be above where Youta would be stuck inside the swamp. All this would happen instantly before he would fire five, 1 meter in diameter bolts of the dark river breaking seal. Two were fired into the swamp with a power and speed of 150, and three more around the swamp at intervals of 10 meters in a triangle. He would detonate the dark river breaking seals inside of the swamp at about halfway, so that he could end this if possible. He did not wish to hurt the young kid any further than what he had to. “Sorry Youta…there is too much riding on this for me.”

If by chance he were to feel any chakra surge from his opponent, he would activate the spellbing seal to absorb or debuff it. The power of the spellbinding seal is 250 power and speed.

Youta would be overpowered by the black sludge that would start to pull him down. He panicked and before he knew it he was dragged under the ground and he would hold his breath. But eventually he would pass out. Next thing he knew he woke up in what felt like a hospital bed but it was really just a bed in the back of the arena, in a little bit of pain. He was a bit confused but he was no worse for wear. He would just Yell “Hello? Anybody around?”

Seeing Youta succumb to the Swamp of the Underworld allowed Yamato some time to reflect, albeit only seconds…it was needed as he felt the chakra signature of Youta go dim and calm. He knew the time since he submerged was enough to engulf his consciousness and render him unable to fight. Yamato approached the referee and informed him to stop the fight and of course the referee was already aware of this as well and once the jutsu was canceled, Yamato dispelled his seal as well. He helped to pull Youta out of the arena and helped him onto a stretcher before getting him into an infirmary. “You did well Youta…we will spar again, and I will see you once you wake up.” He said as he left without much more, knowing his words only fell upon deaf ears at the time. He was off to the next challenge of the tournament, and he was currently counting the seals he had to use in the last fight…he would need to step up his game if he hoped to achieve anything.
