Travin sat and enjoyed his meal across from the Kazakage Guren. The two didn’t really speak and just focused on enjoying the meal for the time being. Travin had never had a steak and potato that was cooked to perfection like this was. He had, had good food before, but this was on an entire new level of cooking for him. Once the two were done eating, they would continue their conversation after Guren paid for the food and left a tip for the wait staff. Travin gave a half grin in response to Guren joke about how much he ate, but he did not shy away from the challenge. Travin trained harder than most people that he knew. He knew what he wanted and knew how much work it would take to get there, and nothing would stop him from getting there. That much he did know.

With the two standing up from the table to leave, Guren told Travin to walk with him, that he had something on his mind. Travin simply nodded and followed Guren out of the building, with several of the people giving a slight bow in respect for Guren and his position within the village. Once outside, the two turned to look at each other, and Guren told Travin that he wanted Travin to prove himself in the blood works to test himself once he was ready, and if Travin survived the encounter he would have an offer for him. Travin’s heart lifted slightly at the chance to work for or with the Kazakage himself, but before he could say anything, Guren vanished into thin air.

Not knowing where Guren went for sure or how he did it. Travin started to walk towards the training grounds, he had work to do, and for the first time he saw a path to his dream.
