Backstory: Typhon wanted to make something to show his improvement as a blacksmith's apprentice that would also be useful to him in his shinobi career. As a hand to hand fighter it wouldn't make much sense to start using a weapon with long reach. Instead he decided to lean on his strengths and make something that enhances his usual attacks.

Inspired by the history of the Canopic clan he landed on a glove that could be used in regular combat, as well as be used for applying his virus to a target.
