Kin's initial response to retracting the puppet away from the elemental onslaught was commendable. He seemed to force it right by his side, and at the extent of the water trumpet's range. It was quick thinking and practical, exactly how a shinobi was expected to be. Yet even though the range of the water trumpet and electrical beams were shot out, the clones did not cease their upkeep of these techniques. And so Kin's next moves were questionable to Guren. He seemed to send the puppet straight into the water blast from Luren. Perhaps the puppet Sparrow was able to absorb techniques and nullify them? Quickly this hypothesis was debunked though, as once the puppet met the power of the trumpet of water it was concussively repelled and swept off its feet backwards, plummeting into the ground, fallen but not destroyed. Luckily the intense force of the water trumpet prevented Sparrow from proceeding into the range of Ruren's electromagnetic murder. After the collision between the water trumpet and the puppet, Luren would cease its expulsion of water from its mouth. The residual water from the trumpet's range would fall onto the ground. 

"Don't give up now!" Guren would call out, as he'd force Luren to remain stationary, 15 meters from the fallen puppet and Kin. But simultaneously, Ruren would start to close in the distance between himself and the puppet. His aim was to force Sparrow into its range. And so as Ruren moved forward at his max speed, he'd stop once 5 meters away from the puppet, forcing it to be electrocuted to a crisp. But this didn't spell doom for Sparrow just yet, as Kin could still find a way to get the puppet out of harm's way once more. Should Kin and the puppet react, he'd adjust his intentions and actions to adapt.

In the meanwhile, Luren and Guren would watch idly by to see how Kin would react. They'd refrain from sending Luren, as perhaps a 2 on 1 was unfair.

Sparrow’s course of movements would change. Based upon a reaction of seeing how the water didn’t cease to exist right away as planned, the puppet’s charge forward would be abruptly halted almost immediately before actually fully reaching it. The chakra threads on it’s back tightened to keep it held steadily. Narrowly avoiding that, bout of danger, Kin’s eyes would pierce upwards, looking calmly towards the Kazekage and his two sanguine clones. An expression of passive delight dazzling the man’s face, not a sweat had been broken quite yet. But it was rather fun, trying to match pace of a superior shinobi. It kept up to be a tough fight, and certainly this wasn’t even half of the power his opponent could yield. Clearly the Lord 3rd was holding off for obvious reasons, but it was something the Sarutobi sub-sect member had been grateful for.

This was the moment when the cone of water would actually come to a cease. Immediately ceasing the opportunity, Sparrow’s flight would be taken once more. The avian construct would be lurched to the right while it’s user would quip back to the bearded Kage ”Don’t worry Lord Kazekage…” The winged piece of structured and sculpted blocks of wood would be moved 6 meters towards Guren’s left, to aim for the strip of land which was now freed from it’s previous blockade of swiftly oncoming liquid. As Ruren would start to press an attack and charge forward, Sparrow would make it halfway there. Having to consistently scan the battlefield and place focus in to multiple things at once being a puppeteer, Kin would notice the one clone starting to surge forward, bringing the Sparrow to move in the same direction as before, but now making it do so on a diagnol line going backwards towards himself. The meter distance helped make a difference; it would be seen just escaping from the lightning’s pulsing wrath.

”I won’t!” The nobleman would then state, completing his thought towards Guren from earlier. This would be said in tandem with the puppet then being launched back towards the trio of Urens; it would go as fast as it could. The goal here was to at least close the distance to a spot where if Ruren had tried to follow the Sparrow’s movements with that of his current technique’s area of effect, it would also be placing the other clone in it. Just to provide that extra bit of security. If Sparrow had moved past this successfully, it would attempt to launch it’s kunai feathers out 4 meters towards Luren, 10 total moving towards the clone’s direction.

(since you had the puppet move forward in your previous post, it would have been hit by the water. can't cancel an action that already happened. the force would be concussive, not destructive so let's just have the puppet repelled backwards and swept off its feet)

As the concussive blast of the water trumpet repelled sparrow backwards, Ruren continued his forward pursuit towards the puppet. For sparrow to proceed with his motion towards Kin's right, Kin would have to first lift the puppet back up. Assuming this was done, Kin would have remarked to Guren about his resolve. Excellent, a shinobi that didn't give up. In any case, while Kin made his comments he'd angle sparrow to move in a motion towards Guren's left. Ruren would respond by continuing with his aforementioned actions. When Sparrow would narrowly dodge the lightning, the clone would cancel the technique once 5 meters from Sparrow's location upon being hit by the water trumpet but he'd continue towards Kin and the puppet at his max speed. It was evident he had the puppet and puppeteer on the run, and all that was left was to conclude the fight. Interrupting Kin and Sparrow's actions, Ruren would now be within striking distance of both. In an instant and once 3 meters from Kin, he'd expel a violent shockwave of force and blood vapor that would undoubtedly repel Kin and Sparrow backwards. Its force would be equal to 90 power and speed, and have a radius of 10 meters. There was likely little to no time for Kin to react with a technique of power to match the shockwave, and so he'd likely be forced to take the damage. And if he should then he'd be unable to maintain his posture and actions to control Sparrow to attack. Resultantly, Ruren expected the puppet and Kin to be defeated. And if not by the shockwave, then by the residual blood vapor that would be within the air and the potential for techniques to utilize said vapor. Luren still stood 15 meters from Kin, and would activate the 4 seals required to form the water wall technique. He'd expel water from his mouth directly a meter in front of him, which would amass into a wall of water that was 10 meters tall and wide. The wall would be large enough to protect himself and Guren from any techniques the puppet was able to execute, if it was able to execute one before the bloody shockwave was emitted from Ruren. Seeing through the wall, Guren and Luren would look towards Kin, Sparrow, and Ruren in anticipation of what happened next.

And just like that it was over.

Basically, as quick as it had started, the battle had thus ended with the blast of sanguine liquid being expulsed from one of the Guren clones, destroying Sparrow within the blast. Luckily, Kin avoided this because he was still where he always was (hit got Sparrow, but not Kin due to himself not moving and only the puppet last post). As much as he’d try to avoid the incoming attack, it was rather impossible to do so. But there was still a visible effort to do so that would be seen. At the moment it would start, Sparrow would be seen trying to maneuver around the clone but would ultimately fail in doing this because it simply wasn’t fast enough. But it is what it is. He was just hoping to have at least gotten one scratch on his opponent. Granted, the opponent in question was the Kazekage, it would take more than just a mere, low power puppet to even take one of his clones out.

With the puppet now in shambles, peering back towards the Lord 3rd through the newly formed wall of viscous substance. Shrugging it off, he’d simply smirk while tilting his heads downwards. The braided haired heir would be then heard talking to his spar partner ”Well, unfortunately, at this current moment that was the only puppet in which I possess, so it looks like the fight is over. It was a fair and decent fight, Lord Kazekage, and it was an honor getting to do this with you.” While this manner of speech would normally be uncharacteristic for the genin to speak, there was already the knowledge that the conversation did have to slightly lean more towards the formal side. And while at heart, he was a bit of a rebellious soul, there still was always the hint of not wanting to screw up any first impressions.

Taking notice of the sun’s positioning now, it had appeared as if morning had fully come to it’s fruition as the tide of the battle waned; and with it, the sun that was merely peaking beyond the horizon, had now fully crested over the edge of the skyline off within the distance. ”Well, I should probably start doing some other things that needed to get done today, but before I head out, do you have any comments or suggestions on how I should go about combat in the future?” Kin would ask, starting to make his way over to pick up the pieces of the broken bird. If there was anything that was mentioned, he'd stay around to listen to what would be said. After it had been clear that the two were officially done, he’d promptly bow before thanking the man once more, and be on his way.

And what would happen next would simply be the end of the fight. Though Kin and the puppet lost this fight, they put up a valiant effort. Guren would dispel his blood clones and they'd harmlessly fall to the ground as piles of blood. Unfortunately the puppet had already taken some damage. Guren had felt a bit bad, but not much. The puppet could be repaired and replaced, at least Kin was unharmed. As the genin concluded the fight with his acknowledgement of its results, Guren would nod his head lightly and call out in return. "Please, the pleasure is mine. Let me know how much it costs to repair the puppet. I'll reimburse you. In regards to how you can improve, my first suggestion would be pacing. Watch your opponent and try to read his movements. You naturally have the numbers advantage alongside your puppets, so just figure out how you can use that to gain the upper hand...And don't send your puppet flying into a water trumpet."

Guren would chuckle slightly at his last remark. And with that the genin would bow and take his leave. Guren would stay behind and reflect on the situation. It was nice to see genin taking their training seriously. Hopefully this one refined his craft and would one day become skilled enough to revitalize the historic Puppet Core.
