First day of Training

There was a nice gentle breeze blowing through the village this morning. The sun was smiling high in the sky, with its ever radiant beams peering down upon Hiroki Shimada. It was the perfect morning to start working on some new jutsu. Even if he was able to manage just getting one down today, he wouldn't complain about the outcome of it. However, if not, then that might be a different story. Hiroki would burn that bridge whenever he got there, but for the time being, he didn't worry; there wasn't a need to, after all.

Making his way over to the training areas, he found a small area where he could get to work. Before actually starting however, Hiroki peered down upon his watch. 2:00 PM he thought to himself. If I can get this done before the hour, then that would be absolutely splendid.

While the shinobi loved training, it could get exhausting after a while. Especially since that fateful day all those years ago. But this wasn't the time for him to be moping around all sad about something that was now way beyond his control; he couldn't help the fact that bandits had followed him from the woods that night...but what he could do was get his vengeance. Since that day, he has sworn to get his payback.

Deciding instead, to not put it completely behind him, Hiroki decided to use these emotions which have snaked their way into his heart to push himself when training. Not even wasting a second, Hiroki started to work on the jutsu he wanted to learn: Lightning Uppercut Combo. Even though it was simple, and most likely the training would end up being a bore, the blue eyed teen still would try to have some fun with it.
As a warm up, he started by just focusing his chakra into his hands; the same way with how he learned the surface walking technique. He felt as the energy surged through his body, until it reached his hands. A surge of pins and needles rushing through his body like a riptide, Hiroki couldn't help but smirk. Maybe this will go by fast after all. As this electric feeling was reaching it's peak, that's when he hit the nearby tree as hard as he possibly could, and-

"OWWWWWWW. SHIT! That really hurt, who's idea was it to hit th-" At this moment he realized...it was his idea to hit the tree...

Now mumbling to himself, pacing in a circle, all Hiroki could do now was to refocus and reground himself; which is precisely what the boy did. Taking a few moments, he sat in and meditated for 5 minutes.

Breath in.

Focus on the chakra flow, and feel it moving throughout the body.

Breath out.

Move the chakra, and hold it within the hands.

Breath in.

Keep it there, focus on the imagery of lightning.

Breath out.

That's when he felt it. A rush of both speed and strength. Showtime. And just like that, Hiroki was able to notice his speed had increased while running around. This was awesome! Now, he was actually having some fun.
