It was time for another energy drink fueled mission-o-rama, this time starring everyones favorite protagonist and her new danger friend Shikuki. I am elated to be able to tell this daring tale of a full weeks worth of work subverted through the power of ninjutsu and sheer force of will. Saya rushed off down the long widing streets. She'd gotten information from one of her many friends in the village; the roaming musical instuments salesman who she often employed to add accompanyment to her performance, that there was a shady meat dealer in the north edge of town who offered prime cuts at less then prime prices. Now the race was on. She hoped to arrive before Shikuki, deciding that she could add a bit of challege to the task to break up the monotomy. Glancing about she searched for her new friend, hoping to get the drop on her, as she immediately beelined for the stall where she could find the meats needed for the mizukage's cute lil puppers.

Shikuki had gone by the mission center after getting a notice about she was assaigned missions for the day. She would collect them up with a sigh, what a drag this day would be, Or so she thought. She went first to the one at the top of the list, fetching meat for the mizukages dogs...Shikuki remembered hearing something about Xyxer having dogs, but not the kages after, so maybe they were nicer? or this was an old mission that was set on repeat and they would have to bring the meat back, either way it was already paid for at least, it was just a collections thing at this point. However there was a note that she was to have a partner today, although she did not seem to see her anywhere, she wondered where this partner could be hiding at or maybe she was a slacker, meaning Shikuki would have to do it all herself, she would let out a soft sigh and begin to go looking for the meat seller by herself.

With luck she'd managed to get there before her partner. A meniacle grin creased her lips as she walked into the shop. It was a standard butcher's shop with a large glass case in the center and a kindly man with a white apron behind it, but in the back corner was another figure. He wore a long brown trenchcoat and black hat, and glanced about to and fro at people walking past the shop. This was the guy. She hoped her teammate would get here soon, but saw no reason not to go ahead.

"Excuse me! I'm looking for uh. the stuff? wait." Searching her jacket she pulled out a note with various lingo she'd gotten from her musician friends.

"I need to uh. procuray some... Oh. It's just i need to buy meat. I NEED TO BUY MEAT!" She knew it was already paid for, but the idea of it feeling like a shady back alley deal tickled her to the point that she couldn't help but play along. With a nod he snapped his fingers and several barrels of various cuts were rolled out. They looked heavy.

Shikuki recognized her, it was the girl she trained with the other day, how convienant. Shikuki would walk up to the man and nodded, And Looked at the pink haired ball of energy "Seems you did not wait for me , if we are to be a team, she would not account for the others to be able to catch up? If not gather them for the mission yourself rather than just doing the mission all alone without any help?" and with that Shikuki would take the meat from the man and nod to the girl "Lets go and drop this off before it starts smelling to much worse so we can move on to the next mission, the sooner these things get done, the sooner we can go home and shower away the day" Shikuki was not one for smelling bad, and the meat made it that much worse in her opinion, let alone the other missions that they would have to get done would have them running around all day.

After turning in the meat, Shikuki and hopefully the other girl would go down a couple of allyways and find that shops and the like was being covered in sand, Grabbing a broom Shikuki knew what she would have to do, for she did not know anything that would help clean up the sand faster than this, the wind of the day was not helpful, and with her dress style she wore today, not only was her skin moist from the constant misting that happened in Kirigakure, the sand liked to stick, in places she was not fond of, Shikuki would let out a huff as she finished her part and would put the broom back, she swore that she was wearing more sand inside of her outfit then she swept away. And with that mission Done, Which took some time to finish, Shikuki would look for her pink haired compatriot "Whats next on the docet of chores for the day?"

2 Missions Down

"Oh. Um right. So i figured since these were really easy missions that would be dreadfully boring if we didn't find some way to spice them up I determined the best way to make this interesting for the both of us would be to race you. Otherwise I would have waited for you to meet up but I dunno. I thought this would be more fun. Thinking about it I forgot the whole actually telling you that I 'd planned on racing you part which kind of defeats the purpose in the first place. I will work on communiaction in the future. " She gave aid, gripping one of the barrels and allowing her chakra threads to propel her body at high speeds out the door. She even missed the door frame this time. Didn't miss the stake to the awning though. Picking herself up she rushed off to follow her new friend, turning in the meat and heading to her next task.

"I... .I have an idea. " As Shikuki began to sweep the sand up, a task that was both boring and slow moving, The brilliant girl's brain fired in overdrive. She began to form hand seals, then realized she didn't need to and touched her fingertips onto the ground at her feet. The earth cracked beneath her, and five large wooden beasts drew up from the ground. They positioned themselves so that their edges touched, and simply scraped their wooden bellies across the ground in wide lines that brushed the sand away from anywhere that it could be seen, collecting it in a neat pile directly in front of the one Shikuki had made. "Problem solved! So what's next on the agenda!!"

Shikuki would sigh as the girl asked her the same question she had asked, She would pull out the scroll and look at the list "Says here, we have to go to the old Tech shop and recover Scraps and tech that is salvagable and move them to the new tech shop, and we have another one for helping Elderly, with various assaignments, well lets get started on theses, and we will do the last one together a bit more... well together as a team I guess." And with that SHikuki would put the scroll back away in one of the pouches and would Move on towards the old tech shop in a destoryed part of Shimagakure before it became New Kirigakure. Shikuki would sigh as she looked upon the rubble, she used to run these streets when she was younger before the take over of Xyxer Gyojin, She missed the old kage, even if he had little that he did, Naoki at least just let things be.

She would go to where the old tech shop would be located at and begin to dig through the rubble , moving bits of rock by hand as she dug down looking for the part that would be the old inventory of the shop. At which time she was certain her pink haired partner would already be back up to being with her, She would than pass off some of the stuff to her and looked over her shoulder to the pink haired one "Maybe a wheelbarrow or wagon could make this easier?" and than she would go back to handing off the old tech parts before Shikuki would stand up and nod "I suppose that is enough" and with that she would begin to walk with a crate in her arms filled with scraps of tech, and would drop them off with the new tech shop owner. When she would note a elderly person in the shop who seemed to be looking at something they needed.

Shikuki would walk up to the person, was a older gentleman, Who she would nearly give a heart attack due to her clothing, and would nod "Hello sir, You seem to be looking at this, is there an issue?" she would be told how he needed the item, but could not get it home, at which time SHikuki would offer her services if the man agreed to sign the scroll saying she helped an elderly person with something they needed.

With that agreeance, She would fetch a wagon and place the item in it as best as she could, a dishwasher, and would use the wagon to pull it to his house where she would even help to install it the best she could and hand the man the scroll and had him sign in and than she would look around for her pink haired partner. She wondered if she lost her or not.

Thats when the shout was heard "THEIF!" Shikuki took off at a full sprint immediately to try and locate the direction of the shout and took to the roof tops to find someone who could be suspicious enough to be the thief.

Ok. It was tech time...Saya style. She zipped through the streets at full speed, the pinochio puppet who'd been strangely quiet up until now falling into step just behind her. She'd been so focused on what she was doing she hadn't thought to check in on her friend and teacher. Thankfully this next mission would require his help. The ruins of the tech shop were.... A pain. She arrived a step behind her friend and considered her options. Once again shikuki was doing things the manual labor way, but that wasn't exactly our dear protagonist's style. Her keen mind went to work, studying the rubble before her. Focusing on a section far enough away from Shikuki to be safe, she formed three seals. Hare. Ram. Snake. Touching her palms to the ground she targetted half the ruins and allowed her doton chakra to flow. The ground beneath them shifted quickly, her powerful chakra moving the earth at a speed seventy two. The moment the jutsu was cast she thrust her arms forward. She had a small block of time for this to work. The earth sank down only two meters as she proved her control over the earth element. That wouldn't seem helpful at all at first, but the speed at which everything changed depth caused a unique reaction. WIth the ground no longer supporting it the rubble floated comically for a moment, bits of tech dislodging from stone and wood, and the puppet was half thrust half thrown towards the mass. Easily he picked out the pieces as he worked in long lines, and planted them all in the designated turn in spot.

This was the point where they broke for a moment. She knew exactly what she needed to do, and was actually a bit excited. Oddly, and incredibly plot conveniently, there was an old lady that lived 2 doors down from the old tech shop in a half broken apartment. She arrived, going through the door without knocking, and stopping with a skid just barelly in time to not bowl the old lady over.

"Hi. Supposed to clean your whole house but I thought we'd do it a bit differently. " With a grin her fingers continued to glow light blue. The chakra threads shot out, wrapping around the woman's body. She cried out for a moment in fear. Then she felt wind in her whispy white hair. At break neck speed she zoomed around the house, cleaning dishes, sweeping floors, and generally doing tasks she hadn't been able to in 20 years. The chakra strings let her float just above the ground, keeping pressure off her weak knees, and the exhileration was enough to bring a vibrance to her eyes. They were done with what would have taken the old woman a month in mere minutes, and as they took a moment to look at their work....While doing an impressive waltz for some reason... Saya simply nodded. She would allow the old lady a few more minutes to enjoy the weightless movement before she too heard the cry.

"Thief!" Saya was off. She set the old woman down gently and the moment her strings took hold of her own body again she flew out the closed window and down to the streets below. She saw her partner running just to her left when she landed and let out a nod. Given the way things went, this would probably be THAT thief again.... fifth time is the charm I suppose.

Shikuki knew she was not moving fast in comparison, but with the roof top advantage, she would use Kunai and Shuriken expertly aimed to make the theif skid and turn on his knees and hands as he twisted in the air and stopped just before the weapons. He would take off down the Ally that Shikuki was just above and she would drop down in front of him, with Saya to her right, she knew the theif would have no option but after turning around to realize that he was busted, With Shikuki on one side and Saya on the other. Shikuki would shout out to him "Stop Thief, You are under arrest" at that moment was when he smirked, and she thought he was up to something and went charging in, Mistake. That was what he wanted, He than used the garbage can next to Shikuki to get around her and take off running, showing an excellent skill in city street running, also called Parkour. Using the wall and items, with jumps and flips to get around the ally way, as Shikuki thought to herself, if she did that, her chest would knock her out.

Yet she still ran after him, Hoping that Saya would find a way around to try and pin him down again so that way he could not get away. Shikuki did not realize that as she ran past a certain corner, that he was waiting, hiding. She ran past him and he ran back the other way, causing Shikuki to swear and skid as she turned around to pick her pace back up to max speed, although she was not that fast just yet, she was putting her all into trying to get this guy. He was cunning, but she had her own tricks. If Saya knew this thief she would know the tricks and would likely just stroll up on the man as he tried to go around a corner, and probably had her puppets cut off any other ally ways for him to run down.

This was where they would get him, As Shikuki would pull out a Kunai and warn him "if you try that again, I will throw this Kunai and take you out at your knee cap" And With that Shikuki would inch closer to him and wrestle him to the ground and with a knee in between his shoulder blades, would tell him he was under arrest and use ninja wire to tie him up with the threat of losing his hands if he was to struggle to much.

And with that they would escort him to the prison and Get his processing started, and take the scrolls signed with completions of their tasks, and turned them into the mission center, collecting their rewards, it was time now to head home.

Saya followed, watching the way her partner used weapons to affect her opponents movements. It reminded her of her battle with Travin. As she propelled herself with her skillful art with a human body technique, she compared the two situations, considering how she'd struggled to actually get him to shift to the side she was trying her best to push him towards. Then the thief began doing some dope monk shit. Of course the girl wasn't aware of the concept of a tabletop roleplaying class, so in her mind it was a foreign concept, but still the way he wove through the world actually brought her pause. She skidded to a stop, putting her full focus on how his body moved to facilitate the intricate movements. It was magic. No. It was poetry. No. It was dance. Yes, this was a dance between captive and captor and he.... HE WAS GETTING AWAY!

Thankfully with her jutsu's ability to move her like a puppet she was just so much faster then the boy that it didn't matter. She easily caught up to the pair as Shikuki tackled the thief, dropping him to the ground. He wrestled and writhed to try and get himself free, sliding the mask from his face as he looked up to see who had aided his new captor, and as their eyes met his went wide.

"Wh AH GET OFF M--YOU! " He stopped moving. It seemed seeing Saya had resolved him to the situation he had little control over.

"Oh. It's you again. Yanno. All the times we've met up I dunno why I never thought to arrest you and take you to the guard. I guess I just figured we'd see each other again. " It was THAT man. The man she'd met outside the village with Ita. The man who she'd battled in an all out challenge of elemental supremacy. The same man she'd stopped from stealing weaponry by raising the ground in front of the door and simply not allowing him entry. The first across the ship when they battled the not so deadly pirates. This boy had been a constant in her missions. Half the time just seeing her coming had caused him to run, but she'd never actually considered that she could end this entire endeavor and bring him to justice. It was like a fly that you couldn't swat so you just had to deal with it when it landed.

"I WILL get you one day sayatria.... I swear. The next assasin I send won't be so weak and they'll murder you and I'll be able to do my buisiness without interuption for once. " She shrugged. He wasn't particularly DANGEROUS to her, so she let him rant and rave the entire way to the jail cell where they welcomed him into his new home.... until he eventually found a way out and they met again. maybe this was the big turning point. Maybe with this he'd finally learn that crime doesn't pay.
