Pupilless blue eyes surveyed her claimed corner of the training facility. Momochi Yamanaka wore her usual uniform- striped turtleneck made of reinforced material, dark pants, and dark boots that were easy to conceal stains of any sort. Her exposed hands, however, were cascaded with numerous and countless little lacerations. It felt as if she had angered a Koutaishi- after all, the cuts certainly felt like those she would have obtained from paper. Nonetheless, the answer was much simpler. The interrogation specialist had a latent wind affinity. She was attempting to practice it, and in the process learn how to separate it from her water chakra. Most of her efforts had two possible results- one, a violent spray of mist that seemed to combine both of her affinities, and two, her fingers being opened up by razor blades of wind.

None of the cuts were lethal or career ending. The biggest danger from them would likely be infection should they remain untreated- and she knew how to treat those pretty consistently. Worse came to worse, she could visit her acquaintance in the hospital. An older woman by the name of Mino came to mind- the young adult couldn't tell what the chuunin thought of her. Affectionate irritation? Just another comrade? Either way, she enjoyed the medic's company, even if the medic didn't enjoy hers.

She couldn't imagine why she wouldn't- most of her experiments that didn't need to be disposed of immediately were sent to her to see if any additional information could be extracted. A soft hum left her lips as she tilted her head forwards. This might be easier if she had some help, but the grounds were sparse today. Perhaps it was due to the hour- most shinobi were working at the moment. Her job had much more flexible (yet at the same time more demeaning) time constraints, often having to be done at the early hours of the morning or nearly insufferably late.

Nevertheless, she'd keep moving forwards. She'd get it eventually.
