History: Sunagakure was a village created in an inhospitable land, and while the locals were indeed used to dwelling within the desert that didn’t mean that they enjoyed it… because really, nobody enjoys the sweltering heat of the desert during the day, which was why the village was most active throughout the night. That wasn’t even getting into the harmful effects that the rays of the sun could cause to ones body when they stayed out for too long, and in the desert that could happen quite quickly. In response to this Kenshin assigned his Anbu Commander and resident Fuinjutsu expert, Lilith Uzumaki, to solve this little issue… and what a solution she had come up with

What it does: Created via a complex series of Fuinjutsu seals placed upon four large spires surrounding the village, this dome acts as a village wide temperature and climate control regulator, essentially allowing the temperature within the village to be kept at a comfortable level even during the most sweltering of days. The dome also has the added benefit of filtering out the sun's more harmful UV rays AND protecting the village itself from the seemingly endless sandstorms that plague Wind Countries deserts. The secondary function of this upgrade allows for a specially trained group of shinobi to detect when anyone enters the confines of the dome, with this detection being limited to entry only (meaning that once inside people cannot be tracked. This secondary function extends underneath the village as well, allowing them to detect anyone that tries to enter under the village.

The Spires themselves are treated as though they have 150 health, and if even a single pillar is destroyed then the dome will fall. If destroyed the spires are able to be replaced at a cost of 2.5k each.

Essentially, this upgrade makes life within the walls of Sunagakure much more bearable for everyone within the village.
