Mission Info:

Knock! Knock! Knock! Tadashi's head rose out of the gutter. Lifting his head, strips of yellow ramen noodles fell from his face as an orange-like broth substance dripped periodically to the ground. His sapphire eyes groggily revealed themselves from the comfort of his light tan eyelids. He scanned the location, discerning that he was in the kitchen connected to his house's living room rather than his bed...for some reason. Then he looked down... "Holy crap." He verbally exclaimed in a whisper. A monstrosity of dried ramen broth and noodles, takoyaki bits along with a piece of bread were scattered just below the kitchen table he was resting on. Suddenly, all memories of what happened flooded like a tsunami to his head. It appeared while he was reading his Jutsu Encyclopedia the night before the start of the Chuunin Exams, he banged his head against a ramen bowl slamming it to the ground along with his other snacks before drifting off to sleep. A surge of pain electrocuted through the ginger's head, he must have gotten a headache from his previous injury. What a way to start a day, even more since it was the Chuunin Exams today. Eh, he had some time to spare before practicing again. It was 8:00 in the early morning, so the person knocking on the door must have something important to tell the Ace. Opening the door with his regular clothes, a note with the emblem of the Konoha Government was left on his doorstep. Tadashi dusted it off before neatly opening it with sheer force. It wrote this:


"Dear Tadashi Ishida Namikaze,


You have been chosen for a mission as of this moment. Recently, a man has claimed to have lost his door to Christmastown by a being referred to as Santa. Santa Claus. Rumor is that his door shifts to one place to another. We assume it is a teleportation technique being used. Your job is to track down the door see what is inside it..."


Tadashi sweatdropped once more before scratching his head both in confusion and curiosity, "I wonder what it holds." The Ace innocently pondered his inner youth showing. Soichirou, his father and Akame, his deceased mother have always read him bedtime stories during dusk basking in the ethereal night sky. Oh, how long had it been since the glory days where he didn't have to worry about the duties of being a ninja nor the inevitable coming of age to rise as an adult. Tadashi would sacrifice almost anything to return to his blissful childhood.

Time, it would seem, only kept on advancing.

Suddenly, a spectred image of a slightly open door appeared right in front of his house. "Well, that was fast..." The ginger smirked while putting his hands in his pockets. He bent his knees, gathering up energy in his soles of the feet. While not being the best in genjutsu in terms of elegant chakra control, he was a master in the art of precise Chakra Control. With a deep breath, the chakra accumulated from his soles burst out in a conical spiral of a soar as he entered the flying door. It was completely pitch black, with no natural light passing through the dimension. The ginger grabbed a piece of candy in the form of a miniature cane, placing it on an invisible platform his feet were on. "Guess the guy wants me to mark the spot where I entered."

Then he left.
