A Wraith's Pursuit[Travel Topic]

Kutari would dart ahead as he escaped the clutches of Sunagakure’s reach, already having been miles away going towards the coast as the heavy sun would bash down from above, little time having passed since the events at the village’s gates. His destination would be clear, as the young assassin had no intention of abandoning the one comrade he truly connected with: the village hidden within the clouds. He knew Kenshin was strong enough to survive the sudden attack on Sunagakure and didn’t need the Uchiha’s aid, his talents potentially being applied elsewhere. The siege of Sunagakure led by Kenshin months ago was a success, damning away the Kumo oppression which resided in the village, though the foes that Kutari made contact with seemed to have been notified of their presence rather quickly without Kenshin mobilizing to attack. Arguably the work of Kumogakure, alongside the fact that Kenshin intending on riding away the scorn of the village he despised the most, it fell upon Kutari to travel to reach the destination to bring about something pleasant in regards to all that's happened in recent memory.

The Sunagakure project was nothing more than a failure, and the orders to subdue the various Kumogakure resistance that wished to outdo Kenshin would be matched with a ferocity to attempt greater feats as he went towards the village itself. A lone body as he always had been, now operating in the express interest of his ally as this tactical advantage would prove to be useful to Kenshin, who was coming to be a dear friend. Furthermore, Kutari wished to challenge those who held a greater power than himself, and see just how much stronger he could become along his Shinobi journey. Traveling with his armor, katana and spear by his side and actively searching for opponents with the minds eye of kagura wishing to stop his travels, Kutari would traverse the flat desert terrain far away from Sunagakure as he would inevitably sail by sea to the lightning country.
