The day was almost done with the sun starting to set off in the horizon. The air was still warm where there was plenty of people still out. There weren’t many places that were still open at this time, so most people were out for one thing. Late night fun. This meant parties were being held, clubs were active and bars were drinking the night away. Hato was one of those people that was out at this time. A couple nights ago, she was at a party that got attacked. She fought them off, but then it reminded how much fun it was to get into fights. Especially when she was getting underestimated. But with the act she had to place for herself she couldn’t just get into random fights, that doesn’t mean she couldn’t provoke them. Where was the best place you could get in a fight? The bar, of course. So Hato put on her combat shorts, her black tank top and her black combat heels. Putting her hair up in a bread was the last thing she did before walking into the bar.
Today was muscle men day it seemed as everyone there seemed to be a big burly men. They breathed manhood, their veins popped out everytime they moved. Their were seemingly the exact opposite of Max sensei. The blonde headed beauty sat at a solo table when a waiter came up to her. “Well hey there pretty. What would you like?” Hato smiled at the comment and requested some hard sake. The waiter smiled and left, he seemed to be used to men staring at women that enter the bar. At least the waiter seemed nice, which is the least she could say about the others in the bar. This allowed one of the big men to approach her. “Hey.” He said in a burley voice. Hato looked up at the man and smiled. “Hi.”
“What is a lady like you doing here?” He asked, eyeing her up and down, like she was some toy he could play with. But instead of him playing with her, she was going to have a bit of fun of her own with this drunk idiot.
“Getting a drink.” She said as her sake had arrived to her table. Hato took it down in one shot, placing the glass on the table hard when she was finished. It didn’t it her hard, she was pretty used to the effects of alcohol due to her history of blackout parties. She could also hold liquor like a champ, it would take hundreds of shots to get her drunk. Which was like a blessing and a curse.
“Why don’t you and I get a room together?” He asked, sounding more like a wolf that will try to eat her then a human asking for some gratification. She pretended to be surprised. “Um, no that's alright.” She said politely, hoping he’d react violently. Which he did. “I wasn’t asking!” The drinks must of made him soft in the brain because he did ask her. “I said no. Did you learn that word?” She said to the big dummy, but not upset like or angry voice, but in “I’m better than you” voice. This ticked him off. It ticked him off so much, that he tried to strike her without another word. It was stopped suddenly, not only surprising the owner of the fist, but everyone in the bar, which stopped and stared. Hato was smiling, she had caught the fist with her palm, which looked silly as she had a much smaller hand than Hato. She threw off the fist from her grasp and got up the chair, being the same level as him now, she spun around and struck him in the head with her leg. This would send him to the ground. There was a good solid silence in the bar, everyone in awe.
Then one of the men got up, clearly upset. “She just knocked out Big Fist Sammy! Rip her apart!” Hato looked at all the men get up. And because they can’t form their own opinions, they were prepared to beat her up. “Alright, I’ll make sure not to kill you.” Hato taunted at them, rising from her chair unafraid of the men that were threatening. “Just know, this is only in self defence, nothing personal.” She added.
The first one to make their move was a big man behind her. The devil in dove’s feathers noticed right away. He tried for a nice solid strike to her back, which Hato just avoided by back flipping behind the monster of a man and kicked him in the back of the head, which was like both a sharp stab to the back of the head because of her heels and a massive kick. This set him into the table that she was originally in. This gave Hato a great view of all her opponents. There were ten men that were still standing, and one mystery person wearing a hood, keeping their identity a mystery. The men seemed to know them because they didn’t react to them. It didn’t matter in the end, she had to focus on the bigger men. Speaking of which, two were charging at once. “Finally using your heads.” She said smugly. The first man was in a full on charge and the following man was right behind him, most likely preparing to fight off Hato if she passed the first guy. Which she did. Hato climbed the first man's shoulder before he could get a tackle on her. And before the other man could punch, she landed a nice solid kick to his face, without her heel. She was now behind the first man, which made him stop dead in his tracks and turn to face her, which was only met with a punch in the face courtesy of Hato Sano. This left eight men to face. The next man was going from an above approach, attempting to do a ground pound on the poor defenceless woman. Little did the man know, she had body flicker to another location. Where you ask? On top of one of the men’s shoulders that was watching from the left. This surprised the man and he tried swatting her. This only made her get off his shoulder and jump behind him. He turn to look at her but she had slipped under the unexpecting man’s legs. Again he tried to look but he was too slow and as she jumped to her feet in front of him, she uppercutted him in the jaw, sending him back. The men were starting to get desperate. One of them pulled out a giant sword, the size of Hato herself. “Wow, now we are playing a dangerous game.” She said, almost nervous. “DIE!!” The man called, bringing the sword down on Hato, using gravity to really bring the thing down. It crashed against the floor of the bar. Luckily for Hato, he was slow enough so she could side step away from the trajectory of the massive blade. Hato grabbed the hilt of the blade and used it as leverage to kick the man in the face, sending him back as well. Six left. Hato now had possession of the blade. No one thought she could lift it, but she proved them all wrong right away. She picked up the massive blade and held with both hands. She smiled and this time approached the man that tried to slam down on her. Hato winded up the blade, and swung. Luckily for the man, it was the side of the blade but it still smacked him back. Another man tried to attack when her back was turned, but again, men as huge as they were, they were bad it. She swung the blade behind and struck him the same way she did with the other man, sending him back. 4 left. Another strategy they were about to try was surround her. They made a 4 corners position around the woman. Hato smiled again and placed the massive blade into the floor. She would then jump at one, kicking him in the face. Using the recoil, she bounced back to the massive sword, landing on the flat side of the blade and then jumping off it to jump at the other man beside the one she had just knocked out. She took him out as well with a KO punch. Last two. Hato body flickered behind one of the men and punched the back of his knee, making him kneeling, then traveling up his body to slam it into the floor. Last man standing. He fell back in fear. Funny thing was, it was the same one that had told everyone to rip her to pieces. “Oops, I guess I won.” She smiled, getting all up in his face. He was against the counter of the bar, nowhere to go. “P-please…” She was about to strike him but was stopped with whip around her bicep, stopping the punch dead in its track. Hato turned to see the mystery figure with the whip, stopping her.
Hato stood up, not struggling against the grasp of the whip, letting it slip off but not letting it go. “I was wondering if you’d do anything.” Hato said. The figure said nothing. Hato wouldn’t fight the figure without any reason, just in case it could ruin her reputation. Luckily the figure would attack. They pulled on the whip that Hato still had a grip on, pulling her with it. Their strength was enough to take her off her feet and bring her to them. But the blonde wasn’t about to let that defeat. She used the extra leverage to get a strong kick towards the figure. But unlike her other opponents, the figure was faster than Hato. They dodged the kick with a side step, making Hato fly past. But Hato took the whip her, pulling it towards her. Instead of going with the whip like Hato did, the figure let the whip go. Hato caught her fall towards the wall. Pulling the whip to her, she now had a hold of the hilt. It was a comfortable weight and the length was incredible, almost 5 meters. “There, a gift from me.” The figure said, in a feminine voice. “Who are you?” Hato asked. Hato tried to peer into the hood, but she had a white expressionless mask on as well. The figure said no more than that, leaving mostly a mystery.
With the brawls over, Hato scoped the bar, seeing the damage. It was pretty bad, with broken wood everywhere, some blood from the customers. The only person not taken out in the bar was the bartender, coming from his hiding place. She looked at him and paid for her drink only. “Hey, you can’t charge me with the other’s mess. I was just in self defence.” The bartender was too scared to argue with the blonde as he didn’t want the same fate as the other people in the bar. Hato left the bar, leaving the click of her heel the last thing they hear from her.
Hato had taken home the whip, a trophy if victory. But it also made her wonder who the heck was in the bar. She could recognize the voice of someone she has met before. Did she know who Hato was? Were they going to meet again? If they did meet again, Hato was going to be asking a lot more questions and with a lot more force. Hato placed the whip with her other gear, the next time she was going to train, she would use it. Who knows, maybe she’ll be more proficient with it than she thinks. And maybe something she would use for the chunin exams. But at the moment, she need to rest from the battle in the bar. She undressed and laid in her apartment bed.
