Deceiving Allegory [Mission/Solo] Empty Deceiving Allegory [Mission/Solo]

Mon Jun 26, 2017 11:53 am
Spoiler:

Deceptive, yes it was. But there was little chance of his plan failing, and the goal was to prevent fighting as of now. There was a lot of paranoia based on the information that Haruki was given when he heard of the task given to him. Stopping a fight from breaking out between two groups, priests and ninjas. Because of this, he was going to get a chance to try out a new strategy of his. Of course, all of the guards were going to have to be aware, so he made sure to position a few of them in place before he told them what to do. They seemed to listen to him, as he was the one giving the orders, but they were not going to go along with anything stupid. At the end of the day, they could beat him to a bloody pulp if they felt like it. Knowing this though, they were likely going to do the opposite once the Akari finished this task up. It was recommended that a team of Genin did this, but that was where Shadow Cloning trumped all.

“Here is the plan.” He explained to the guards, placing the side of his right fist into his open left palm. The guards were alert, silent, and prepared for battle. That was not what he was aiming for, but the Akari was glad that they were willing to fight battles from breaking out with possible fighting. That did not contradict the mission in any way, but they at least can take orders from him. This was more of an… Arrest mission. “I can use Shadow clones. Due to this, I will make one for each side, each of them using transformation Jutsu. I’ll give them codenames as well, Makoto and Chi.”

Makoto and Chi were random and simple names, but everyone needed to be aware that they were fake. To arrest shadow clones legitimately would be wasting everyone’s time. Haurki needed to make that clear so they didn’t do just that.

“Once we do that, I’m going to “expose” them for being spies. These two groups are paranoid as it is, I might as well satisfies those and give them peace of mind.” He stopped for the moment as he noticed that there seemed to be a bit of uncertainty among them. That was understandable, though he did not have too much time to put it into perspective. “I get it, this is not easy. But we don’t really know if there is a problem in the first place. The best chances are them just being paranoid about it. If they had their fears relieved of them, they would end up having some peace of mind. Therefore, we have to do it this way.”

This was of course a case of a coin toss chance of this being right. But the twelve year old did his best to play with chances in his favor by applying a bit of common sense. If some of the best were unable to tell of the problems with these cases, then there was most likely a chance that there was never a problem in the first place. With that said, the goal was to make sure that they were not fighting at the moment. If a real problem arose later, that was deemed outside of the mission. Besides, when he had more strength, he would be able to solve the real issues.

“Once we have Makoto and Chi taken away from their sights, we will end up having them calm down. They have their problems solved and they don’t have to worry.” Now they seemed to be a bit more on board with the plan. This was to act as if there were a third party trying to trick the ninjas and the priests into fighting and killing each other. If they were to fall under such an illusion, they might act as if the other group had no problem with each other in the first place. Without a doubt they will not become allies, but they can at least prevent any bloodshed from occurring. To him, that was the victory, as that was all that his mission was in the first place. It was deceptive, but it was nearly foolproof as well.

Unfortunately, nearly was exaggerated. The problem here was if one of the shadow clones ended up getting hit. As in, one of the groups decides to attack one of the shadow clones out of hostility, believing that violence will solve it. Haruki had yet to figure out how to pacify them once Makoto and Chi were exposed to the public. Next, he needed to make up some form of story as to how he heard about these things in the first place. He was a Genin after all, technically, he had no place in being around areas he had no access to. Maybe just make up a mission to locate these two unjust criminals for their heinous crimes. Yeah, that would be his story.

Now it was time to begin. The two groups are going to be attacking each other later, so it was best to wait for that to happen. In the meantime, Haruki was going to be practicing their personalities and making sure he had them nailed. If he messed up the acts of a priest and a ninja, he was going to have a much harder time getting them to avoid the danger of being attacked. Ninja were not too hard to copy, but the priests were something he had little experience with. If he were to stereotype, he was going to have to make them a pacifist, making sure that they had a calmer persona. A staff and a robe would perhaps make it even more believable, and they can act as if they were experienced in medical ninjutsu. If asked to prove it, that shadow clone can use basic medical ninjutsu. And so he would spend the whole night doing just that.

The night revealed itself as the time for battle was among them. Haruki was prepared for this as he practiced the figures and characters for hours. They were burned in his head, and he made sure that the clones were trained to go by the script. It took a bit to give chakra the mentality and shape that he needed, but he nailed them down after a while. Just in time as well, as he needed to plant them into the armies that are preparing for war. They were about to fight, and Haruki must not act slowly.  Otherwise there will be a battle and the task will result as a failure, along with countless lives being stripped away from physical bodies. The brunette would continue to move through the village as he was looking for the battlefield out in the Water Gardens. Both armies were walking forward slowly, prepared to cause a possible genocide.

Haruki placed his fingers up, crossing them to allow two shadow clones to form by his sides. The clones quickly used transformation as they split and moved towards the sides in the opposite directions. Makoto would be the “spy” for the priests and Chi would be the “spy” for the ninja. They needed to blend in with the armies, going to the last line. They didn’t seem to have much to assist them, as they all had their chakra mixed with each other, so sensory would be difficult in such massive crowds. Haruki knew they wouldn’t be deemed unusual as long as they did not approach in sight. Backrow of the army was still a part of it, so they would still look like members of an army. The clones were already gone within a few seconds, and the Akari can only hope that they were doing well with their mission.

Next, he was going to have to figure out his approach to them. If he were to just jump in the middle, they would just attack him right away. And if both sides attack him, they will attack each other as well without even a small question asked. Wars can break out with a single threat. It was why everyone had to be prepared to for battle when such a thing happened. To make sure that hundreds were not about to do that, Haruki needed to make sure those hundreds did not end up feeling threatened by the presence of a young child. To do this, he was going to approach the middle calmly. Walking, exposing himself to the danger of both sides. It was what needed to be done so that his voice could be heard. They might not like him bothering them, but they were not going to harm a child that did not possess a threat to them. As long as there were no signs to convince them otherwise, it was likely for them to hear him out. Of course, these were just odds, nothing it guaranteed. The Akari deemed himself to be rather lucky with numbers though.

In case there was any real danger though, there was a second plan. This was just one to make sure Haruki came out alive though. The two groups attacking was still a possibility. So because of this, he placed a mark seal on himself. The instant that war brought out, the shadow clones were going to use summoning technique on him to make sure that he got out safely. They most likely were both not going to end up getting struck, and only one of them needed to bail him out. Thanks to his larger chakra supply, the task would not be so difficult for him to nail.

The marching armies were gaining ground, though none of them found the location yet. Perfect! Haruki didn’t have to walk in on anything, he could just be at the middle of it before they arrived. Then he would be able to just tell them on the spot… Assuming they both arrived at the same time. If not, it was just going to be a hooded green idiot trying to stall for time with a speech to say “Calm down! No more fighting, I know the solution!”. When they ask him what it was, he was going to have to wait for the others to arrive, then execute the original plan. In the meantime, he was going to ask for them to wait, in which they will most likely be hostile towards him and think it’s a trick. That’s where problems would arise. It was not too good for him, thinking as far as he did in order to get this. Luck was a major factor of any battle though, and his just happened to be good enough. However, if he kept on toying with it, the small chance of failure would come back to haunt him. And on one has ever thought that far, what would he do during that time? But to make sure that never happened, he would just keep thinking and decreasing his chances to give himself peace of mind if not anything else.

The Akari would then notice the incoming armies coming from both the North and the South of him. He made sure that he was exposed to the sight of both of them to make sure that they were able to see and hear him. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would wait for the both of them to arrive. Like he planned, they would end up stopping about a good 20 meters away from him, a far distance without a doubt, but nothing too big a deal. If he cupped his hands to amplify his voice, he was sure they would be able to hear him. The ninjas seemed a bit more hostile to him being in the middle of what was about to happen. The priests seemed more neutral to it, that being either good or bad. Regardless though, they didn’t seem to have much care.

“What business do you have here, child? You are in the middle of a battlefield.” One of the ninja asked. A young female, in her twenties without a doubt. She was armed with a katana, though it was sheathed as of currently, most likely due to his presence. Or maybe they were actually planning on talking? Well, those two groups talking most likely would just end up with bloodshed anyways. It was better for the brunette to be the one to talk instead. Whatever paranoia is going on, they hopefully could be cured with this act. An Akari needs to be tricky and pull good illusions, this was going to be an example of that.

Before the Priests could have their leader speak, Haruki would be the one to deliver his message. “I understand you all have problems. But I can rest assure you that there is no need for you all to go into battle!” His words echoed, causing a damning silence to trigger, leaving much discomfort in Haruki. Still however, he needed to finish that bold statement if he wanted to have his head by the end of this night. “This is what THEY want! For you all to eradicate each other before they end up attacking!”

“Oh is that so? Enlighten us on who “They” are then.” The Priest leader ordered, a young male. Thirties perhaps. He was wise, that was a question that Haruki has not been expecting. Swift thinking, he needed to make up another lie. It was a bit rough around the edges, but he found one that could perhaps work. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would take a calm inhale followed by a shaky exhale, his nerves beginning to grow. They were intimidating, and public speaking was not his strong suit.

“They are unnamed, as their group or whatever they belong to has yet to be identified. But the guards are working hard on getting them captured. But if you fall for their trap and fight each other, you will all perish!” The more he spoke, the more confident he was in his words. His tone would strength and his stance would be more of a leader than that of just a speaker. The two armies now began to mutter among each other from hearing that. They needed a reason to believe him though, and he was not going to let that question slip out in the worst way. The less that the leaders got to say, the easier it would be for the Akari to be persuasive.

“If you do not believe what I say, I’m going to expose the two of them!” Haruki told them before placing his palm on the ground, activating the summoning technique. Mark seals on the clones would bring them to him. He brought Makoto and Chi in front of him at that moment, their clothing convincing enough to make them believe him. Makoto was the priest, his haircut clean and moving to the side. It was fresh, but nothing too special. Chi has a wilder haircut, messy blonde curly hair that would not sway due to the headband placed on the clones head.

“And how do we know this isn’t some gimmick?” The ninja leader asked, placing the back of her right hand against her hip. Another good question, but he was ready for that one.

“They possess the eyes of the Akari. Rare, but is that something deemed common here? Unfortunately, not many have it.” That was true. Considering the origins of the clan did not reside in Hoshi, it was more believable to not see too many of them. And all clan members were known, that was just how villages worked. In this case, this looked like some stranger that had a clan ability. “And if you don’t believe me, I can simply force the Akari eyes out of them both with a single Fuinjutsu!”

The act was getting better. Haruki lightly placed his fingers on the backs of the clones. They would let out a fake scream in the process before they activated their eyes. Golden eyes, glowing bright enough for both sides to see. They were doing a marvelous job with their acting, and the crowds were beginning to favor him. There was still one more thing that needed to be answered. Not only was he prepared for it from the start, he was expecting it to be obvious. A well put together lie.

“And how did you even find them and get mark seals onto them in the first place?” There it was. The hundred ryo question. Haruki would just look at the priest with dull eyes. It was supposed to be obvious if he paid attention to the story that had been made it.

“Did you not hear me? The guards are looking for these people. I am good with intel, and placed mark seals on them. Took me a lot of time to do it. But imagine, once the war is over, they could just kill off whoever is left.”  He explained to them. Both of the leaders would look at the two of the clones that were there. The original Haruki would lightly push the back of their knees to make sure they were secured in place. The clones placed their hands behind the back of their heads, showing that they were under the mercy of the Akari.

“All right then, I say we execute them!” The ninja leader declared, her army cheering behind her. The priests joined along for it. However, Haruki waited them out for a bit, giving them time to get the energy out of them before he was allowed to speak to them once again.

“That would be unwise. It is not in your place to do it. If you kill them, you have spilled blood on Hoshi ground. The blood was not shed by the Kage, and therefore will also be placed on your heads. If you want my suggestions, I would like you all to leave this to the Kage. The punishment for them will be a lot worse, and none of you have to get in trouble.”

There was some muttering around the area, though none of them could quite object to this. They were thinking of what to do with them. Pushing for execution seemed good, but the blood would be on their hands. That fear alone prevented them from making the rash choice of doing it. Not that they even had time to do it anyways. The guards that witnessed everything came a few seconds after, right on time. The clones were taken away from the scene, being “Arrested” and to be put on trial soon. They were not going to be there for too long, as Haruki’s chakra was beginning to run out. But once they were out of sight, he could call them off. Then peace would finally be obtained within the two armies. Now that that was done, he was going to have to talk about the relationship between the priests and the ninjas. Surely they can’t be mad at each other now, though confusion was without a doubt a factor to consider.

“So what happens now…?” The priest asked, the question that everyone had been wondering had been asked. Everyone stood silent for the moment, both sides looking at each other with Haruki in the middle. It was an awkward silence, but he was more than glad to fill that in. Anything to kill the chaotic silence everyone had to endure. He would clear his throat, his voice a little bit hurt from his amplified voice he needed to keep up for a while. That, and his chakra was draining, making his body feel weaker. To help himself relax, he would take a small skate around the area in an oval.

“Whatever happened was because of those two. They manipulated events and prevented things from becoming good. I don’t know what beef you all had, but I think it should all be over now.” He explained. There was a chance he did not know what he was talking about. Should it be something like a theft, then there was still something to answer for. But the events being manipulated part was enough for them to just agree with what he said, making everyone’s lives much easier. As he continued to skate around, he looked at the armies. Not a single one of them were prepared for war anymore.

“I suppose you are right. If what happened was because of those two, then there is no reason for us to battle. It was no ones fault in the first place.” The ninja leader explained, crossing her arms. The weapons of the ninjas would all be lowered slowly. The priests then decided to mirror them as well. With all of them dropped, the two leaders would step up to each other. After a few seconds of hesitation, they both nodded their heads. The staff in the priests hand and the katana in the ninja’s would both fall to the ground in front of them right next to each other. A declaration of peace between both groups, no longer were they going to fight. Even if it were just for the moment, that was enough for Haruki to get the task done. They no longer were hostile towards each other for the moment. If one group screwed up after this, that was on them. But he was able to report back to the guards and tell them of the job he had done. The result was a success.

“I’m sure you all have a lot to talk about now. My task here is complete. I will let you all chat.” The Akari told them before skating away from the scene. Now it was time to tell the guards of what happened. The clones were gone now, he could tell due to his chakra no longer being drained by their existence. Their duration was heavy, but they lasted long enough for him to not get in trouble. Should they disappear in the middle of it, they would know they were clones. And who would those clones belong to? It could be one of the ninja, but they most likely were just going to believe that it was Haruki pulling the strings. And they would not be wrong for doing so.

With that done, he felt like he had done enough for Hoshi to accept his presence now. It was a tough task, but considering the recent events being shattering to just a single Genin ninja, there was going to be a lot of recognition for those missions. At the very least, no one can ever say that he was hostile because he was a foreigner to the village. And it was true, he did not aim to inflict harm onto the village. This was just his second chance, the ability to make things right when they burned down the first time. New friends, and bitter memories were going to be wiped. Still though, he would like to see people like the Yuuri twins again. If he could continue to grow in his lifetime, that would be amazing. He felt restricted to the current phases of existence, due to not being able to supply himself with much chakra yet. That was another reason he came here, it prospered, and most of the ninja he heard of in this village tend to have a bright future.

Placing his hands in his pockets, he would proceed to move towards any inn that he could find. The night was perhaps going to be morning very soon, so he was going to be sleeping in. It was very much deserved after all of that acting and practicing he had to carry out. At the end of it though, it was very well worth it. Now it was time to collect the ryo that paid for his rent for about another month.
