The Journey Begins: Zakari Akari Training Part 1

“This is ridiculous!” Zakari yelled out in the training yard of the Academy. He was one of the only students still there, because most of them had already left for the day. Then, why was he still here instead of having fun somewhere? It was all because of this stupid clone technique. He refused to let this thing beat him. One of his classmates had laughed at him, when he saw Zakari fail miserably earlier in the day. That was the last straw for him. He was going to perfect this technique, and then shove it in that kids face.

He sighed, and took in a deep breath. He had to calm down if he was going to get this right. First, he needed to go over the hand seals, again.

“Ram, Snake, Tiger.” He performed the hand seals, but messed up. This was like the twentieth time, and he was still messing up. He wanted to just scream. After what felt like forever, he finally seemed to have the hand seals down.

“Alright, time for some fun.”

He gathered his chakra, and performed the necessary seals. Performing a jutsu was like nothing he had ever experienced ever before. He could feel the chakra energize his jutsu, and suddenly an image of him appeared. He was about to let loose a cheer when he stopped.

“Wait, what are you?” It was true, a clone had appeared. However, it looked really funny. The clone’s color was off. The skin was grey, and the hair was poop green. An insult that Zakari was not happy with.

“You look like crap. Your pathetic, get out of here.” He swiped his hand through the clone and it dispersed. This was disheartening, and even worse was that he just told his own clone that he was pathetic. Does that mean he called himself pathetic? Zakari shook his head, not allowing himself to think about think about it.
All he had to do now was train a little more. He had experienced the jutsu once, so he knew how it was supposed to feel. Now, all he had to do was expand on that feeling. He grinned as he performed the hand seals once more. His hands formed the Ram, and easily mixed from Snake and then, finally, to Tiger. He felt the chakra in his body begin to energize the jutsu, but when last time he got caught up in the feeling of the chakra. This time he strained and forced more chakra into the jutsu, but he almost lost control of the chakra. He remembered what his teacher had told him and his classmates about keeping a clear image in your head. Zakari closed his eyes as he focused more on his own appearance. 
Finally, he felt the feeling of the jutsu take form. It was like a ball of energy in his stomach pushed from his body.
He was a little scared to open his eyes. If the clone was not their then, Zakari would be at a lost for what else to do. Slowly, he peaked open his eyes to see himself staring back at him. It was a mirror image, perfect.

“Alright, I did it. I’m awesome.” A wide grin had appeared on his face, and he held up a thumbs up, which his clone copied exactly. He was beside himself with glee. Once he was sure no one else was around, he danced around the training yard in glee. Once again, the clone copied his movements. Suddenly, the clone vanished again. Now that the clone was gone, Zakari became aware of how much chakra he had spent doing this.

“This must be the longest I can hold it. Well, I guess with some more training it will get easier.”
