Ambitious little upstart! [IO, NK]

Ketsueki walked slowly toward the academy. He, and his newly adopted puppy walked along the village streets. It was post teachings of course, so there were no issues with him skipping classes. He looked down as the pup strolled in front of him, occasionally taking time to chase a bird he had seen out of the corner of his eye. 'What do I do to train him? Are there even books about that? There should be if I scour around enough.' He let out a sigh chasing his dog to another patch of birds that were bathing themselves in a small puddle just a ways in front of them. He smiled when they evaded the puppy, leaving him in a wet mess. 'A bath wouldn't hurt after we get to actually train...' He picked Mitsukatta up, using his jacket like a cot for him as he walked along. The puppy quickly tuckering out, 'Gonna have to do something about that energy. I doubt you'd get by just as a house pet...Maybe...' He thought for a while before the front of the academy came into view. "Remember, you can't go for a stroll while I'm in class, you're still small." Mitsukatta yapped in response, waking from his comfortable slumber in Ketsueki's arms. 'I thought he'd be more active. I should get him a ball.' Thoughts ran through his mind as he stopped in front of the academy.
