The pockets sometimes there are reasons why they are empty. Like a rum bottle after the final drop. That case such a bottle was drained of the moisture. In xubas case it was proberly smashed into the head of another dumb drunkard. 

Sometimes it was hard making ryo in the world. Honest day's work varied  on the pay. And that came few and far inbetween. However, his luck wouldve changed for the better at this point. A nice new change in wear was the first in order. With a new falsified uniform of konohagure xuba looked more or less appropriate for  dealing with stangers. He even wore a cleverly crafted headband of konoha. Symbol, length and width, same metal, same cloth material. A replica of the hidden village.

This was convincing as thoes whom truely knew him would know that it was a great way to infiltrate a village by posing a messenger. All save for the people whom worked in the village. Such as shinobi and the heads. They would know and remember each and every headband that was made. And whom it belonged to. It was a large world. So for safety it was safe to pose as one of the "village ninja"  as it would provide an excellent economical  oppertunity.


To xuba he throughrly enjoyed the idea and took to a grand job of smiling big to travelers and greeting them. A careful eye for their posessions and their value. For many were of low wage worthy and stealing for scraps was a "nono" for xuba. 

The question however remained. Was there truely a means of going too far? Perhaps, but the call of money leaves no man without some sign of hope and desperation. Just diffrent values of it.

Days went by and few travelers in between showed little value other than to feed the children and  get food for the cows. Here xuba considered that while the travelers wealth were in question. Their very health lead him to  belive their very wealth was all they had.

Xuba finally saw a lone traveler well packed and exhuasted. The afternoon sun was beating upon the man and his eyes noted he was a small time trader with various wears. His total profit was in the question but what was on the man wad an interesting cause to xuba. He was surprisingly well dressed. Easily meaning easy money for the con man. However, it was like looking into a simple mirror. Perhaps his ammount was not as high as one could barter. Nonetheless.

Pay day!


Xuba thought as he made himself known to the man by showing himself from behind the tree. The exhuasted man looked up at xuba sweat pouring down his face as he recongnized the garbs  xuba was wearing.

"Due  to the current transistion of power kind sir. and a future kage meeting i am here to ask you for your support by a kind donation of  500 ryo. A meetimg of kage shall come soon so donations are greatly appreciated. 500 ryo is a easy contribution."

Xuba asked full of kindness and sincerity. As his hand stretched out to the man. The man was no fool to the world. He was a man whom lived long and worked hard. And his eyes studied xuba carefully for some time before speaking. Although xuba looked like some shinobi of the leaf. He was far from the sincerity. A certain bad feel came from him. Turning the mans gut slightly.

"Very convincing guise theif. However, it takes a lot more to fool a guy like me. For one. You may be able to pillage as you please. However your heart stains of blood as does your "suggestion of donations".

The man spoke as he proceeded to back away as subtley as possible. But xuba was not going to buy it. He was upon the man like a wolf on a wounded deer. And twice the firocity. A single scream and "crunch" was all that was heard as xuba finished the man with a crushing of his neck. The poor man hardly hardly understood. What was hapoening.

 To a viewer  from afar view a body was seen dragging out of site into the thickets. Of the trees. A lifeless husk of dead weight  from a former live man. Now since expired of life and value. His valuables were for the taking now. And easy to take.

The pockets were emptied of uselesd notes and various valuables which to xuba had little value to xuba. The body and now belongings being fully examined with fast but deft hands. No unusual alterations nor  eye raisig jackpots. Just a normal man deceased.

The distant look of freight, fear, and outrage on a dead trader saw his last sun heading west. The sun was setting as xuba took to finishing a more throughrel search of the dead man.  All that was found was a pouch full of ryo. 

The pouch was quickly pocketed like the deft hands of a theif. As there was very little left to having a dead body on the side of the road. Xuba proceeded to dig a decent hole. 6feet wide, 8feet deep.  Easy enough thankes to his strength and speed. Xuba was done before even the first stars began to show.

A dead man and the belongings taken care of and handled by burying him. Xuba rolled his shoulders and proceeded to count the money he simply pocketed. Easily a sort of satisfying guilt  built up inside xuba as he recounted the ryo gained. 

"499,500... man its better something then nothing. But in my defense the corpse collector was saved fule use by using nature and ridding the air to be wasted by such a loud mouth. Sometimes i question if it was a free service? Perhaps... Tis fine nonetheless. Money is money."

Xuba spoke to himself as he left the scene almost perfect. Save for a dead man several feet under The now stary sky.
