Clone Jutsu

Sakana was up by 6:00 am even though training didn’t start till 8:00. He was so excited to start his training as an official academy student. He woke up threw on his blue t-shirt and shorts, combed his hair, and put on his sandals. Then he started to eat breakfast, while he ate he imagined how the training session could go. He imagined at least 50 possibilities that ranged from everyone ignoring him to being the best student in the class. He finished getting ready but realized it was only 7:00. Sakana didn’t wait to wait around his room anymore so he left for the academy early. On his way out he said goodbye Kaigo, and thanked him once more for this opportunity to train as a ninja.

It was still very early once he arrived at the academy. But he still walked into the room where his training session was and took his seat. He was the first one there. Sakana remembered that the first jutsu most academy students learn was the clone jutsu, so Sakana waited patiently for class to start and went over the hand signs, Ram-Snake-Tiger, he knew them by heart because of how much he watched the ninja train while on deliveries for Kaigo. After what seemed like forever a man walked into the room. From what Sakana could put together the man was a chunin, probably his teacher. The man immediately saw Sakana and said “Who are you and what are you doing here class doesn’t start for another half an hour.” Sakana couldn’t tell whether the man was angry at him or just surprised. Sakana replied “I am Sakana Meijin. I came to class early because I don’t want to miss any training.” The chunin smiled. “Well I am your teacher until you become a gennin, most students already have a handle on the clone jutsu. I know you joined the academy late so if you want I can help you catch up by teaching you the technique now.” Sakana jumped out of his seat, running to the front of the room, and he told his teacher that he would love to learn the technique early.

The teacher's face turned serious, as he got into a ready stance, did the hand signs and said "Clone Jutsu!" There was now an exact copy of the chuunin standing right next to the real one. Sakana immediately thought he could get it quick so he tried to replicate his teacher, he got into his ready stance, did the hand signs and screamed "Clone Jutsu!" But something went wrong there was no exact copy of Sakana, instead the copy was deformed and couldn't even be mistaken for a person. The teacher chuckled, "Sakana you didn't let me finish the lesson, know the hand-signs is just one part of the jutsu, you also have to visualize in your mind an exact copy of yourself standing next to you. Look at you reflection in the window, and try again." Sakana once again got into his ready stance, but this time he spent an extra minute visualizing a copy of himself, after he was sure he had it he did the hand signs and said "Clone Jutsu" once more. This time there was an exact copy of Sakana. "Not bad kid." His teacher said to him, " go back to your seat because in class all the students will be reviewing the technique before we move on to a new one."

Sakana listen to his teacher and trained hard with the rest of the students during class. He went home that day super excited to tell Kiago about his training.
