Is it wrong to pickup children in the woods? P NK Empty Is it wrong to pickup children in the woods? P NK

Mako was not thoroughly excited about his most recent mission. His laziness was constantly at war with his want to be better. After eceiving the parcel telling him to scout the woods near to the fire country border for missing ninja and report back all he could think about was his warm cozy bed.  Before leaving he had remembered to pick up some extra smokes and matches.  What was with this fear of Missing ninja all of a sudden? Mako didn't particularly like them but they've always been a fact of life it's not something new.

As he leapt through the trees with his monkey running he kept his chakra sees active scanning the area every so often.  These were the kind of things that continued putting a damper on his life.  He wore his basic gear and had all three of his blades on him. Additionally he recruited the help of the youngest monkey sage of Naya to help with the expedition. Though he wasn't being of much help perched on his shoulder chain smoking cigarettes.

The parameters of the mission included a detail about location, and just as he was finished scouting the area it specified, he stopped for a moment to light another cigarette and take a quick break.  He had seen nothing up to this point and highly doubted he would see anything at all. He leaned against a tree and struck the match on his belt and lit the cigarette.  He could sense nothing nearby but decided that sitting wasn't a great idea.  He would look around a bit more before returning trying to be thorough in his search.  He remained the ever vigilant ever watchful sentinel of the Leaf that he had built a reputation around.  Though he sincerely hoped nothing happened, so he could go home and crash on his couch.

the soft flick of his match against its strike plate brought more then just the promise of nicotine. As he lit his smoke the sound of two voices traveled through the dense wood, coming from a clearing off to Mako's left about thirty feet. There the Hell's Angel stood, feet dug into the earth to ground her as she looked quizzically at a taller woman who's figure was hidden behind a long flowing royal blue cloak.

"Now. We need to get your body back into shape. Unfortunately the work we've done within the Fae will help you little here. Concentrate. The world weighs more heavily here then it has before. The earth style training will most likely help. Be prepared and remember.... If we get into trouble run... You aren't in any state to be in actual combat." The older womans calm words ressonated with a sense of worry, though it wasn't clear in her tone. Her words were strangely monotone, flowing from her lips in an almost matter of the fact way. She released the cloak, dropping it to pool on the ground at her feet, the silver inlaid designs glinting slightly in the sun. Beneath it was a simply Kimono black in color that contrasted heavilly with her platinum blonde hair. Across the back of it was a large symbol denoting her existence, the symbol of her master and the same symbol that was hidden across Kira's shoulder beneath the savar suit.

Kira allowed her chakra senses to flow through the area, searching it quickaly to ensure they werent followed when they reenetered the world. She sensed Mako, her eyes shifting to the side before quicklay glancing back to Selene. "W...We. might. Um. Have company." There was little worry of course. In the event they got into trouble The demon of chance hid in waiting beyond the gates of konoha, well hidden to summon the two of them out of the situation, but it was important that they be aware.

Mako clasped his sword and did a quick spin placing himself behind the tree he was leaning on hiding himself from the people who he had now noticed in the wood.  Mako actually knew that the gig was up, whoever they were they knew he was there.  He wasn't in any mood to start a fight or to make enemies but he knew nothing of these strange people.  Ordinarily he was capable of sensing the power of the people he met but for some reason he wasn't able to make that ability work in this current situation.  He could not tell if these ladies that he could hear in the distance were enemies or friends, or if they were even ninja or just random travelers who happened to be in the area.  After gathering up some courage, he would step out and walk forward confronting the strange individuals who were there in front of him.

He would step out, he had a green chuunin flak jacket around his chest unzipped. With a black v neck on underneath of it.  On the flak jacket was a tanto upside down on his left chest and a heavenly sorrow ninjato on his back. At his waist was the konoha army katana, and even though he didn't wear a headband affiliating him with the village hidden in the leaves, the vest and sword would give it away.  He had black disheveled short hair and a well groomed beard.  There were brown khaki pants styled in cargo type increasing pocket capacity.  With ninja tools around the black belt on his waist and a leaf symbol belt buckle.  He had muscles, and was a well built young man, he carried himself with great posture and confidence though his eyes seemed to shift around cautiously.

He walked forward to greet the ladies non threateningly, with both hands behind his head exposing his muscled arms a childish smile on his face with the cigarette he had previously lit dangling out of his mouth.  He didn't really know what to say and didn't have a plan but he figured he was quick enough that he could make a get away if absolutely necessary and it was up to Mako to gather information on these mysterious people.

"Hello, my name is Mako Sarutobi," He said flashing a charming and disarming smile, "If you don't mind me asking, why are you skulking about the forests this late at night?"  He made a friendly gesture by bowing as he asked the question.

As he stepped into view Selene moved, Her feet light against the earth as she seemed to glide over, putting herself between Mako and Kira. Her left hand stretched outward, preparing to call out to her true form, the spirit of sorrow preparing in the event he decided as so many had that violence would be a strong first course of action, but then he spoke, the sense of danger lifting slightly.

"does one not skulk about to prevent assault? I believe it would be more effective to offer the same question to you who travel the borders armed to the teeth as you seem to be a strong reason for our actions."

The speed of the wa man and her movement betrayed her expertise, confirming Mako's original theory. They were indeed ninja, but he could see no markings offering affiliation that he recognized.  He felt his stomach churn, his fears justified, he had in fact come upon some missing ninja. He overcame his initial fear, having every intention of avoiding combat at all costs. The two of them did not appear overly threatening more so cautious.

The moment Selena lashed forward placing herself in between Mako and the child Mako scouted the surroundings and formulated a plan.  The area was densely populated with trees, and though there was fog in the air that was the only water to be seen.  He would have a knee jerk rezction as he would back step a meter or so and place his hand on the sheathed katana at his waist.  Realizing his reaction, he instantly loosened his composure and went back to a relaxed stance, but always watching to make sure there was nothing tricky occuring.

"Well, you've got to be well armed when you're in a forest with rumored village less ninja," Mako would jest with a disarming smile hoping to calm down the woman. "I like to be prepared for trouble.  Can you blame me?"

Mako noticed that he had dropped the cigarette in his reaction. He placed his foot on it and placed a new cigarette in his mouth and struck it. Sizing up whether he should offer the stranger one, he looked from the pack to Selena and back to the pack. "Want one?"

"If you're suggesting that I'm a missing ninja... I am not. " Selene's statement came on the heels of his dance about the words that struck fear in the heart of the alone. Missing ninja. Her statement never wavered, simple and to the point, suggesting no sarcasm or ille intent as it assumed none. To selene it was a simple conclusion.

"Well armed is  quite the subjective term I suppose. You are riddles with weaponry suggesting such neccessity to an unarmed woman in the forrest. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to direct that statement in such a way that it only reflects your beliefs considering the situation?" As Mako and selene spoke Kira's gaze shifted away. It wasn't that she was disinterested in the situation before them... She was, however it was more due to necessity. They were there for a reason after all. Closing her eyes she allowed her chakra senses to extend to their max distance, taking in the chakra of the man before them and any others should they choose to show themselves. The key she used to learn any of her powerful ninjutsu was a basic one, and she needed to prepare for that. Her body called out to the Fae wilds hidden just past the realm between. She pulled in it's energy through the link her soul held to the higher plane, causing a clear aura around her that anyone with chakra sensory could see stopped just at her body due to the savar suit.

Mako was not caught off guard by the woman's unwavering answer, he knew that rarely do missing nin admit to their current state.  What he had found in the woods was just simply what appeared to be a woman and her child training in seclusion and apparently he had interrupted that. Mako was a skilled negotiator though and he still had more answers to lull out of this mysterious woman before him.

"Well, as I had said before I am Mako Sarutobi. I am an apprentice swordsman, and a chuunin of Konohagakure.  I am on a mission to scout out missing Ninja along the Fire country borders, so now that I have discovered there are none, might I inquire what village you are affiliated with so that my report can be accurate, and so there will be no concerns."

Mako knew that honesty was the greatest course of actions at this moment, as making enemies was rarely good for ones health.  He would then respond to kiras apparent distrust.

"And honestly this mission has been a huge pain in my ass so the quicker it's resolved the happier i'll be," his childish smile appearing once again smeared across his face his eyes squinting from the muscles forcing them nearly closed and a cigarette dangling from the corner of his cheek.

He held himself in a non threatening pose hoping to calm Kiras obvious paranoia, he held no I'll will towards her and meant her no harm, nor did he particularly feel like getting into a scrape with few options to return.  It was then that he felt the imposing chakra aura attaching itself to him and filling the entire area with a powerful chakra though it's nature was unknown he did not know whether to view it as threatening or not, so he did nothing for the time being but if it's nature seemed malicious in the least he would dart out of the area the moment he could.

"The girl behind me was of the Hidden leave village as you are. She was kidnapped some time ago unfortunately and will probably show in the records as dead. I hold allegiance to none save this girl and my master. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. " As she finished her statement Selene dropped her head, eyes still watching the man as she curtsied low. She was never one for breaking proper form specifically if it was required social norms.

Kira continued to pull in nature energy, using it to power up the Doton chakra flowing through her body. Now... What would she do with it? She remembered Amber's suggestions, her sharp nara mind still clouded by the world she currently stood within. If she'd been at full strength it would take seconds to figure out the proper ammount of chakra to twist into her will, she was a savant at things of this nature, however the haze muddled her surface thoughts bringing clear cohesive thought to a weak mix of geuss and check. She moved the flow of chakra through her body, lighting each of her tenkaitsu with the strength of the deep earth one by one. She could fell the incredible force but it just didn't seem to be enough. She needed a catalyst. Her fingers slid together, testing seals one by one but as she poured power into them she found herself more confused then before.

Is it wrong to pickup children in the woods? P NK Empty Re: Is it wrong to pickup children in the woods? P NK

Well, this was awkward Mako thought to himself, the situation here must be fairly confusing and strange.  He had no ability to sense lies truly other than just pure experience with it and reading expressions, though it was more of a guesswork as opposed to an actual science but nonetheless it had worked to draw out the information that he needed.  So the girl was a ninja from the village hidden in the leaves but no longer counted herself in affiliation with the current power structure, which meant it was hard to tell where here friendships lied beyond the two people she named.  Additionally, why would she lie to Mako at  first saying that she isnt a missing nin then proceed to admit to being off the grid.  Nonetheless it was a curious situation one that Mako wished to get to the bottom of, if not for anything other than as added information in his report to the Hokage.  He needed to know these ladies' story and had no idea where to begin prior information out of them so he would just start speaking and hopefully it would loosen their lips.

"I am a swordsman and sword maker within the town.  As a member of the Sarutobi clan we stake claims on many advantageous lands, additionally my family house holds claims to several large plots of land within the Nara clan forest.  My father Demetri Sarutobi and my mother Shika Nara are prominent members of the village. Seeing as how we both find each other under very strange circumstances, I find myself compelled to offer you valuable information about myself in exchange for valuable information about you.  My interim teacher was Risako Akara though i remain mostly self taught.  I have a contract with the monkeys of Naya and I wish you no harm. It is not in my personality to make enemies when I am outnumbered and possibly outclassed, so do tell me a little about yourselves."  Mako didnt expect this train of one sided conversation to get him anywhere but he assumed all of the info he shared coud possibly be relatively public knowledge, so as such he didnt feel too uncomfortable sharing, though it was a terrible idea to give strange women in the woods to much power over you.

Mako would back up and lean his back against a tree behind him and take a long drag of his cigarette this whole situation was far too perilous for him to feel to much comfort, but at least the girl was nice enough to curtsy they she did so in such a way to make her appear deadlier..  Mako hoped that with the small sharing session he had had maybe would cox some info out.  He had one more option in sedction but hoped and prayed that this would not go there though.

As he spoke of the nara clan Selene's lip turned up into a slight grin. She glanced back at kira, wondering her intentions with this information and was rewarded exactly as expected. The hell's angel allowed the cloak of the night to flow across her body, mastery of her father's blood proving no need for seals as she allowed the nara bloodline to show itself to mako. She would now seem almost like a shadow of herself, all but her eyes blackened by shadow chakra but making no attempts to sugest aggression. As the cloak protected her she continued her work, shifting the doton energy about her body in search for that which she desired, or more importantly that which Amber required.

"I was a being of great pain. The spirit given to a blade forged by the goddess herself. the Liars knife given life to be used by the most willing and used I was. My consciousness lives within the hosts of the scythe of sorrow.... or did until A brilliant medical ninja found use of me within the physical plane. For this purpose I was given true life. For this purpose I have affiliation to none but my master and her. "
