Training for a mission [P/NK]

Miki sighed, and nodded. "Yea, Vixie's probably alright."
The boy was sort of a problem when he lost track of things, but Miki didn't mind it too horribly. He did have to head for his exam though, which was pretty soon. "Kuro we gotta start heading to the academy, hurry up and tame the fox or whatever so we can go."
With that, he left with a similar exit to last time, turning on his heel and hoping Kuro followed, as he headed for his genin exam.

Kuro nodded and rose to his feet. "Yeah. Vixie's good." He then very carefully reached down and began pettingvthe vixen's soft fur. He felt her body stiffen reflexively flinched and tensed up... but didn't move away. She pulled her head out of his pocket and looked up at him, to which Kuro reponded by handing her bread from his inner coat pocket. "Good girl. Come on, we gotta go. Miki's gotta take a test." Kuro stood up and smiled as he followed Miki, glancing back to see the vixen following with her tail gently swishing back and forth. This looked like it was going to be the start of something good. Kuro then turned his attention back to Miki, seeing he'd already fallen behind. He hurried up after him and the fox matched his pace. "See that Miki? You just gotta get through to em. Even if it's a stubborn fox, if you wanna make friends you just have to keep at it. Even if they hurt you a bit." Kuro looked at Miki meaningfully. He'd meant that two ways. One was that you could make friends with anyone you wanted if you tried. The other was that, even if Miki hurt him, Kuro considered him a friend.
