Damn there were a lot of mission piled up in Takigakure office. Den had told the person in charge of handing out missions that he only wished to do low risk missions as for now, and even though he had expected there to be only a few, maybe only one mission for him, he found that there were perhaps dozens of missions he could do. Apparently not many Takigakure shin obi had been actively doing missions as of late, which was curious to Den seeing as there seemed to be a few shin obi. The man at the office said that the Genin weren’t really being encouraged to perform missions as there weren’t but so many high ranking ninjas to watch over them, but even the few higher ups should be able to perform a good number of missions Den thought, plus most of the D or C-rank missions he saw didn’t seem dangerous.

Den’s current mission didn’t seem to be to dangerous at all, sure he was patrolling to see if anything suspicious was going on, but Den didn’t think that he’d find anything. Den dressed in his usual gear for this mission, minus either of his swords. He did bring his weapon pouch and kunai holster though, just incase he had to use ‘lethal force’ against anyone, but again he highly doubted he would need to. Den flew once more over buildings, not literally as he was only jumping, searching for any trouble that might be caused, or anything that struck him as suspicious.

While den was resting on a building his stomach spasm again, and like with the leaves he puked this time too. Den wondered if he should go to Sanctuary and examine his appendix again, but decided he should finish his mission first. Taking a deep breath, Den lifted himself back up to his feet.

Don’t get yourself killed boy, I’d hate to have this village try and capture me. The gobi didn’t seem much a fan of the village, which was surprisingly something Den could relate with. He had met a few good people within this village, but the place itself seemed almost dead. He was one of a few doing missions for the village, and he was simply passing through. He wondered if he should talk to Taiga about why his village was performing so poorly, but wasn’t sure if he wanted to meet the man again.

Den contemplated whether or not he wished to see Taiga as he once more jumped form building to building, traveling from island to island. The first time the met, and last time they talked, Taiga had not left the best impression on Den, having asked if Den had truly been friends with his deceased acquaintances. That had been an out of place question and offensive to the former Kiri ninja, who had returned to the place his village once stood to find an ocean devoid of land, his home having sunk into the sea. Who had watched as his closest friend drew her last breath, who had dedicated his life to avenging her.

As Den finished patrolling, finding nothing wrong a she had expected, he decided against going to see Taiga for now. Perhaps later, if den felt he was going to stay in this village for more than a few days.
