Your hair is white too? (P, NK)

Youta Rentei, protege of the Singing Blade Yozora, stood on top of one of Tengakure's training towers. Her eyes were closed as the wind that flew her white hair carried distant screech of Cael, her dragon soaring some distance above her. The girl was deep in thought, meditating you could say, despite standing and holding a sword in each hand. Although the draw of her last fight bothered her some, at the moment her mind was void of any troubles. She was focused on very specific movements of the blades, also called Dance of Twin Lotus. It was another style that she inherited from her master, also another that she was left to figure out by herself, as Yozora's death was so unexpected. The Genin's closed eyes would not see as shining drops like snow started falling on the tower from above where Cael trained in his own way. The silence only framed by the howls of wind continued for some time. Then, with a sudden motion the girl's hands moved, carrying the blades to follow her into the dance. The glowing blue eyes now open, Youta would step and spin, thrust and bolt aside. Her new attire was different from what she normally wore, black suit encrusted with small light plates and covered in green and white robes which flowed with the dance.

Then after sequence of 27 moves, she would stop. Both blades horizontally, breathing heavily. It wasn't it, but close.

It was rare that Takeo had the time to visit this place anymore. Takeo didn't recall that last time he had actually visited the training towers, though he wagered it to be at least two months or so. The repairs on his office were just about completed now meaning that it would be unlikely he would get the chance to have another break for a long time. Still, he found it quite relaxing to be able to just walk around like he did back before he was in charge of this place. Originally Takeo had planned on his going for a stroll, thus his attire would not be what he normally wore. The white scheme had been ditched in favour of a black shirt and pants. All of the equipment he carried with him remained however mask, wires, kunai etc. He had however decided against bringing his Kage hat, deciding he didn't want to try and draw attention to himself.

He wasn't sure why he had decided to come along to this place. Maybe he just wanted to have a feeling of nostalgia. A lot of things had changed in quite a short amount of time and Takeo felt a bit worn out by it all. As he climbed the tower he thought back on some of the more recent events, mulling things over in his head. He was still thinking about them when he finally reached the top of the tower. Having always enjoyed training on the rooftop it was only natural that he would have headed there. It seemed he was not alone on the rooftop however, that becoming evident when he exited out into the open. The figure on the rooftop was familiar. Takeo had no difficulties remembering who it was. A contender in the tournament and also the girl that Takeo nearly killed at one point.

He watched silently as the girl went about her practice. Takeo didn't make a sound until she had finished, he didn't after all want to break her concentration. Once she had finished he clapped slowly, walking towards the center of the rooftop. "Fancy footwork." He commented casually, ceasing in his clapping and turning his attention to the buildings down below. "Although one would do better if they had an actual opponent to try it against. Why are your team mates not helping you?" He asked, not bothering to look at the girl when he spoke. Takeo wondered if Genin teams actually trained together with each other. He didn't recall his doing it when he was apart of one. Perhaps that was the reason why she was up her alone. A frown came over his features. He probably needed to do something about that, perhaps create a training schedule for Genin teams. Yeah, that'd work.

As the two blades went down a clapping reached Youta's ears. Calmly turning her head she would spot Takeo, who managed to sneak up on her training, not that it was anything to react to. Takeo and Youta had a bit of a history, as in he once nearly killed her and she just barely survived, although they later made peace on that and he returned her master's corpse to her. The man also recently became Tengakure's newest Kage by disowning the previous two. One of them Youta had later met in the plains and he seemed like a decent sort, not somebody who would turn on the village. So she had seen some contradiction...

Youta would nod at the man, but remain expressionless as he stopped clapping and commented on her footwork. Hearing the rest she would sign lightly. "They're unavailable. If you are suggesting I fight you, then I accept. I need to get a lot stronger than this, if I wish to restore my master's legacy. Just one thing" She would point at the shadow above her, which obliviously circled the tower's airspace. "Don't hit that." After saying this, she sheathed her master's katana, put it away and grasped Shigure with both hands, raising the tip towards Takeo.

Unavailable, seemed like a nice way of saying they were too lazy to get off their asses and train. He made a note to find out the names of her team mates and have someone pay them a visit. His eyes moved upwards when she mentioned not hitting something. He spotted a shadow circling around above. His byakugan activated on a reflex and he frowned at what he saw. "I'm not even going to ask." He mumbled to himself turning his attention back to the girl. "Unfortunately swords aren't something I'm used to working with. Though maybe I'll give you a taste of what a real fight would be like hm?" His eyes widened slightly and he grinned towards her. Takeo felt like he went a bit over board when he let his aura manifest around himself, it flaring up wildly. "Now then, let's have some fun." With that said his aura disappeared and he dashed forward towards the girl. Now of course he didn't actually go all out. He purposely had to slow himself to about three quarters of his natural speed (75) which he hoped allowed her to react to him. Takeo decided to start things off rather simply, he drew back his right fist and sent a punch towards her nose. If she failed to do anything about this, then he'd just have to lower his power even more.

Youta was uncertain if the Tenkage's aim was to scare her, as he lit up his chakra before her. From the intimidating spectacle it was apparent that Takeo was at least twice as strong as the girl. Lucky that her katana was already raise, because who knows if she would have been able to raise it after that in time, not to mention the man's overwhelming speed. But a fist was no sword and the fact that the girl had hers in front of her made her difficult to approach, although surely it would be no bother at all if she didn't do anything.

There was no doubt that the field protecting her would do little against Takeo, although he might feel something. Seeing his fist come from the front, Youta's actions were simple - she slightly adjusted the blade which was already in front of her to sit directly on the fist's path. That way if Takeo did not abort it, he would only hurt himself. If he did take it back, Youta would step forward and thrust the blade at his chest, indicating to keep his distance.

For some reason, Takeo felt himself slowing ever so slightly. Normally he wouldn't have picked it up, but he wasn't going at full speed. It actually threw him off quite a bit, enough to cause him to nearly stop dead and try to figure out what was going on. He however powered through, continuing onwards in what he was doing, that was until he realised actually where his fist would hit. It was times like this he wished he still had Wraithraiser, boy did he miss that armour. As his fist was mid-way to punching the sword directly he opened it and twisted it to the side. All this did was mean his hand passed by the blade, close enough that he swore he could feel his skin brush against the metal of the flat side. Even if that had been his imagination, it was reality soon enough. He pressed his palm against the flat side of the blade, pushing it off to the side. If that was successful, likely considering he was stronger, then it would leave the girl wide open, at which point he would bring his elbow forward to strike her across the chin. "You know it's been awhile since I've actually sparred with someone." He mused taking a pause in order to think back to that time. "I don't remember if it was the time me and Xyxer blew up the roof of one of these buildings or the time I left Haru in the mud." As he talked he threw two or three punches towards the girl. From the way they were thrown it was easy to tell that he wasn't going all out, perhaps out of want to not to overwhelm the opponent. Takeo was such a nice guy.

There was no denying Takeo's overwhelming speed and superior strength. He easily brushed the blade aside, getting past her defense and with his elbow hit her across the chin. The force of the hit was enough to send her flying a couple meters before landing with a thud. Staggered momentarily, the girl would absorb the words being spoken, without much understanding of it. Getting on knee and one foot, she would try to shake the daze, while Takeo continued his musings. She would soon see him coming again at her, while still talking, mentioning Xyxer, his co-kage, and Haru.

This time he was much more clearly holding back and the punches weren't meant to get past her defense. However, Youta did not intend to even put them on the path to hit her. At he got in range, she would lunge forward, keeping the blade of Shigure in front of her so that if nothing was done it would pierce Takeo's left side.

Perhaps he had overestimated his own strength compared to the girls. Takeo watched as the girl was sent flying backwards from the elbow. He made a note to use a bit less power next time and continued on with what he had been doing before. The girl lunged forward causing him to step to the right, twisting his body so that the blade would just strike the air. From under his sleeve one of the blades attached to his set of wires, Bararaq Sei, slid into his left hand. He swung his arm forward, going at a speed he was sure she would be able to track and dodge, aiming so that the blade would carve into her neck if she somehow failed to move out of it. Of course if he saw that she wouldn't be capable of stopping it, he would do it himself, stopping the blade an inch or so away from her neck. Takeo was positive that it wouldn't come to that of course.

Takeo slipped to to her left and Youta's eyes followed him as Shigure hummed through the air where he used to be. Without much delay the girl would twist to face him again. She would notice the weapon that the Tenkage revealed. As it was thrown, there weren't many way Youta could chose to respond. She did not like the idea of blocking it and probably getting Shigure bound by the wire. So instead, as the weapon gave her enough time, the girl would swing her blade at it, releasing a wind arc which would deflect Bararaq Sei aside.

Hoping that created an opening the Genin moved forward with another swing aimed at Takeo's left shoulder.

A wind arc deflected the blade off to the side, though a slight tug of the wire would bring it back into Takeo's grasp quickly enough. Fast enough that he was able to block the swing with it. He thought back fondly to the time in which he had lightning blades at his disposal. Alas gone were the days where he used those, now he was stuck using more...plain weapons. With the two blades locked together it gave Takeo free reign to attack any blind spots, which he took advantage of. The other blade of Bararaq Sei slipped into the grasp of his right hand. At the moment he felt no need to show off its actual power and went for a more normal stab at the collar bone at his fastest speed, 110. Likely untrackable by the poor girl he was stabbing at.
