The Blind And the Wolf

Despite being Blind Fenikkusu Fushichou found his way around town just fine,and he even completed the Academy at a fine pace aswell, but his first mission was a bit of a tough one to get sent on, he had to capture a wolf, who in their right mind sends a blind genin to do that?! eh well he didnt care he got told he could get a rank increase if he captureed this wolf, but he wouldnt be doing it alone, he had a team and he had to meet them at the gates.

Fenik is a boy of twelve standing about five feet three inches tall, he had long red hair, and today he wore a long sleeve white shirt which covered his black marks, and an appropiate set of pants for his kind of misson, his pouches on his thighs, and they would both be filled with his equipment.

He would blindly lean on the gate as he didnt know if they had arrived before him or if they would arrive after he did, so he just waited and looked around as if he could see and he would smirk at his own smartassness and sighed, wishing he could see

The Wolfy Beast

Yuriko - or, to herself and those she would introduce to her later - Angerona, had been making her way back to the village for several hours now, she had just recently escaped a conflict with her former Sensei and now proclaimed - by both Aufero and herself - Devil, Yaju. She knew that it was likely suicide to return to the village in such a short time, but she had desperately sought out a reunion with her Parents who still resided within it's walls, they had not seen her for weeks now and would likely consider her deceased, but regardless she wished to visit them and assure that her mission was holy, that it was right, and that only she could perform the tasks which Aufero had asked of her. With that in mind, she would carefully enter the Village and move to her old home, entering it carefully and speaking quietly: "Mother? Father? . . . I returned." A full few minutes elapsed before she saw the depressed and worn visages of her parents emerge from the bed-room, seeming to be as if they were on the verge of death themselves, though it appeared self-induced, as if they no longer had any will to live. Angerona would quickly move to them and embrace both in a tight hug before saying: "I am alive --- It's ... Its me, Yuriko." in a hoarse, strained tone.

She spent the next several early-morning hours with her parents, speaking to them and telling her story, of both Aufero and her former Sensei. Surprisingly, they had taken all of this rather well as long as they knew that their precious daughter was alive and well, and that she was doing what they assumed was the "Right" thing to do, they also assured her that they would never speak of her to the man named "Yaju" if he should ever ask, and that they would wait for her return once more. Aufero, too, was pleased by this turn of events and assured Angerona that: "-Your Parents will be placed among the highest honor when the time arrives to bring salvation, they will join you as Vessels, even." She said this in the typical soothing, maternal voice that she typically used when speaking directly to her Wielder. 

After this reunion, Angerona would give each of her parents a long embrace before swiftly exiting through the door with a billowing of her cape as she now moved to the village gates, where she would hope to leave undetected, her dark red eyes glowing faintly with the power of the Darkness as she did so, absently she began to stroke the hilt of Aufero as she finally entered seeing distance of the Gates, so that anyone from the Gates would be able to see her, and vice-versa. She did see faintly the visage of a man leaning against the gates, but at her pace and position she was too far away to see him clearly. Aufero, within Angerona's mind, began to speak: "It was dangerous to return here . . . But if all goes to plan, none shall be able to withstand us soon enough. We just need time, Yuriko, a little more time to gather Souls." Angerona knew this was true, they needed time, but at this moment there was no time to be had - Yaju was too powerful and she needed desperately to out-power him, she wished that he had not fled their battle earlier, she truthfully would have been able to best him then. But he had, and thus she was free to return here - She hoped, too, that Suto would be alright on his own for the time being as she visited her parents. She had only informed him, after-all that she would be leaving for a day and that she would return as soon as she could afterwards, but nothing specific.

Finally, her thoughts cleared as she stopped for a moment, allowing the Darkness to flow over her and create a faint visage of it's Aura, though nothing compared to her Dark Rose Stance, which granted her a Veil of such an aura. She did not intend to use this to intimidate however, merely it allowed her to calm herself and relax as she moved forward once more, awaiting what may come.

Aya checked herself for the hundredth time in the mirror. She was to go on a team mission, her first, and it was to capture a wolf. Now, that was strange, but then again she was a Genin. Perhaps this was supposed to be a test, to see if she is ready for Chunin. Hopefully she would succeed, even if she didn't know who her apparent teammates would be.

She had her layers on, but decided to bring a scarf as well. It was black with tiny, broken, lines of white threaded through it. She quite liked it, and hoped it would be suitable for the missions. Checking one final time to make sure she had her gear, she secured her weapons pouch in its proper place on her thigh, and adjusted her Kumo haite-ate on her obi before setting off. Exiting through the window, and pushing off from the rooftops and walls. It didn't take long for her to reach the meet-up point, and found two people already there. Landing not far off, she jogged the rest of the way.

"Hey! Are you two here for the mission?" she asked as she caught up, her eyes trained on the girl using some strange aura. For some reason it... set her at unease, she wasn't sure why. Maybe because it was simply foreign to her senses. Taking a deep, calming breath -that also refuelled her oxygen supply- and walked the rest of the way to meet her group properly. That is, if they are part of her group...

Angel wasn't told much.  Just that she was supposed to go on a mission and that she was to meet her team at the gates. Waking up early she took a shower.  Most people thought that since she didn't wear shoes that she liked being dirty.  The spray soothed her skin rolling down her back.  With a sort of affinity for the earth and stones, she didn't wear shoes because it created a connection between her and the world.  A connection she didn't have in most other situations.  She kept her body clean and healthy...and strong.  Dressing in her normal clothes, she prepared for the mission ahead.

 Arriving at the gates she was greeted by a picture of a few people around her age.  maybe they were her team.  She didn't know if this was a good idea.  she hadn't worked on a team hardly at all and her skills were sub-par.  Angel was not strong nor was she very smart or have any talents to speak of.  but she would use the kunai weighting her pocket to protect her team the best she could.

Her gray coat hid her slight form.  Not well but it did.  The hood came down over her forehead casting a shadow over the top half of her face and covering her shoulder length red hair.  it gave her a measure of secrecy that she and the Aburame clan admired.  She moved quietly toward the boy leaning against the gate.  If she stood by him maybe she would not have to explain herself being there.  Angel didn't look at any of the people to closely.  She hoped none of them would look to close at her.  she kept her hands in her pockets at her side.  Her bare feet made no sound as she moved.  Her feet had become accustomed to the rough ground and she found that not wearing shoes tended to silence her steps as well.  

When she reached the boy she stopped and turned so the entirety of the group was in front of her.  one of the girls looked familiar but Angel kept her eyes down and just listened....

Inijo had recently been assigned to a mission, a rather high ranking one. He recalled taking on a few high missions as a genin, though not necessarily recalling their ranking, either way it wasn't really relevant. He would put on a brown shirt, a weapons pouch, and his headband. The headband had the Kumogakure symbol on it, and covered his forehead. The weapons pouch didn't carry much. Only a mere Kunai knife, which he was taking in case of any need. He began to wander to a place where he was supposed to meet a few others.


While approaching the location, he would take notice of a rather familiar chakra signature. It was Yuriko, whom of which he had recently encountered during his training outside of the village. He would begin to dash towards her, "Oi," he would say, if he would ever reach her.

{So yeah. Short nd shit. 'cause couldn't post earlier and rushed}

Well...this was a confusing and odd way to start off the day, and the bad part about it was that he had absolutely NO idea how he got stuck like this. Yaju had apparently did something or whatever to get himself stuck in wolf form and could not even attempt to get out...a lot of good that had did him while he walked around the village. Many people looked at him oddly before walking off in a rush, apparently a giant black and red wolf was not a thing in the village but he did not care. What happened next would cause him about as much grief and trouble as usual. After walking into his normal store to get some meat the local worker there freaked the fuck out because he started talking, and thus his predicament began.

Twenty meters away from the group of five assorted ninja, Yaju had walked out of the store with some meat in his giant maw's clamping down in content," This...is not gonna go well, but who cares," his yellow eyes continued to scan the area before seeing and feeling five different chakra sources nearby and stared at the kids for a second. His head would tilt to the side before howling unintentionally and this would cause the kids to look at him. Now when and if these kids made even the slightest of moves, Yaju or the black wolf in the case would take off through the streets of the city," Well.. this is gonna be interesting...and why the fuck are kids chasing after me!!," he thought to himself as he made a swift right and weaved through a bunch of citizens.

Angerona was frustrated at the inaction of those around her, and as such she would begin to dash forward at half her full speed [50] and slowly draw Aufero from her sheathe in order to activate the Dark Rose ability which required her to draw the blade and close her eyes momentarily as the Darkness would flow over her, though now thicker than it had been when she was merely using it to calm herself. Now it was a full covering of her body which whirled and hissed as she moved forward, the veil was of-course not as prominent due to the varying degrees of sunlight which continued to shine down upon her as she moved through areas of shade, causing the veil to momentarily dismiss before renewing itself. However, this was not the effect she was truly concerned for, Angerona merely used the Dark Rose Stance in order to quicken herself, [50 Speed increased to 60. Apparent speed is 65] allowing her to further close the distance between her in the wolf. She did not know exactly why, but she felt that this wolf must be stopped, and at all costs.

With that in mind, Angerona would let out a soft growl as the Darkness within her stirred and began to grow annoyed at the constant Light, though Angerona would merely tolerate these feelings for now as she knew that if she were to cast her Sun Thief, it would render her allies at a disadvantage. As such, she would raise the sword and bring it down in a powerful cleave, then raising it upward in another strong motion. This move would send two [2] Aura Slashes; One slightly moving upward, and one slightly downward, both toward the Black Wolf. These, however, had no intention to kill as they would be fairly weak [15] compared to her actual strength, these merely served as a distraction and a possible way to wear down the wolf which they now so desperately sought throughout the many bridges and streets of the Village.

Aufero impatiently pulsed with energy as Angerona continued on, attempting to make mental contact with the Wolf, as it was a living-being and as such had a conscious of it's own, animal or not: "Answer my call . . . Submit and you will not be harmed." Aufero urged, softly, her voice attempting to penetrate any mental barriers, though if she were unsuccessful at contact she would merely return to her Wielder, moving through her mind and memories freely, as the two were so deeply ingrained in one-another. Angerona was now, after her attack, merely waiting for the actions of the others to see what they may provide in aide for the task they had been assigned, it was of course unlikely that they would be able to harm this wolf which, in a way, gave her a bit of solace as her mind now wandered to the two young children who seemed to have brought themselves into this mission. Looking away from her target for only a small second, she would glance at Inijo, hoping that he too, would help her in this chase. She knew only that he was a higher rank than she, so it came within reason that he would know a few things that would be able to put a stop to the pursuit, and hopefully he would use them. Hopefully this would all be over soon.

Angel waited while the group formed another guy showed up and moved toward the girl who was giving off a bad vibe.  Angel didn't judge people.  She just watched.  she stood next to a guy who seemed very relaxed.  Angel was alway nervous meeting new people especially if she had to work well with them.  'what if they don't like me or we don't work well together.'  she worried about these things constantly.  But the worst fear was 'What if they ignore me or forget about me entirely?"

Suddenly a commotion brought Angel back to the present.  A howl went up from a large what looked like a wolf .  It had just stepped out of a nearby shop.  Angel's eyes widened in fear. She saw the large piece of meat hanging from it's jaws.  'please don't come this way please don't, please.'  Fear was not the appropriate reaction for a shinobi.  The appropriate reaction was action.  The Girl close by who Angel had thought felt creepy took action.  Angel was amazed at the girls reaction speed to the situation.  no one else had started moving before she dashed forward.  "Wait!"  it was probably to late as the girls sudden movements caused the Wolf to run into the village.  

This wolf had to be their mission and they needed a plan.  As the Girl who went first took off after the wolf, Angel turned to the others.  "I have an idea.  This has to be the wolf we're supposed to catch.  You guys go after him and bring him back my way.  I'll..."  Angel swallowed hard, "I'll get the bait."  They didn't have time to second guess their actions for all they knew the village was in danger.  She turned and ran over to the Meat shop.  

Upon Entering the shop she saw the worker cowering in the corner.  "It's all right we are going to take care of the situation.  I need to borrow some meat, you'll be reimbursed later."  Angel kept a calm tone trying to relax the man.  "I..I..I...It spoke to me..."  the worker said.  "It...it was like...like he knew me."  Angel was taken aback.  If the thing could talk it might be a ninja hound....A really big ninja hound.  but if the hound knew one of the villagers it was likely he was from around here.  "I need some of the meat it took." Angel said again.  she didn't have a lot of time if the aura girl continued to attack it it might not be so nice as to just run away.  And if it was a ninja hound then they didn't want to hurt it.  The worker waved at a counter and Angel grabbed a large piece of spiced meat.  

Running back out to the street she looked a round but saw no sight of the hound even though he was quite massive.  "Ah."  Angel muttered getting an idea.  She leaped up to a roof top and, holding the meat aloft made he way toward the center of town.  She kept her eye out for any commotion as well as using the taller buildings to get a better vantage point.  Should she spot the girl the guys or the Wolf she would head toward them, otherwise she would continue moving around the city hoping the meat would draw some attention from the otherwise scent sensitive crowd.

Blinking at the slightly sudden influx of people at the gate, Aya shoved her hands into her pockets and eyed the girl emitting such dark intent so openly with a little apprehension. Her haite-ate symbolized her as an ally, but the others seemed more or less intent to keep to themselves.

'Not much of team we appear to be' she thought sardonically, and observed the other people who were present. A girl with a hood and obviously a shy disposition was standing off to the side, the boy leaning against the gate and a boy who had called out to the dark girl. Fighting off a shiver from the ominous feeling that girl gave off, and instinctively pulled her chakra into a tight ball, mostly hiding her chakra signature.

A sudden explosion of action made her jump, and pulled her chakra tighter into her body. A black and red wolf suddenly made an appearance, and it seemed to be carrying something in it's jaws. The redhead narrowed her eyes, and managed to figure out that it was in fact a slab of meat. She blinked as the situation sorted itself in her head. A wolf just exited a shop. With some butchered meat. Like that was the most reasonable thing to do. How... civil...

The dark-aura girl shot forward, and then the shy girl gave the rest of them some instructions. Though there didn't seem to be much confidence but...

"I'm with the little miss" she stated casually, jutting her thumb at the retreating girl "At least she seems to have some semblance of a plan"" she added before turning towards a wall, and running up it with a little application of chakra. Scanning the area, she reluctantly sent out her chakra to try and locate the wolf and it's pursuer, the dark-feeling girl. It was a near impossible endeavor, though, since her senses weren't sharp enough and to her the whole area just seemed like lights of varying degrees of brightness surrounded her. But that dark aura was hard to miss, and she sped towards it as fast as she could.

When she finally reached the girl and wolf, she immediately went as close to the girl as she dared. Which was only just enough for her to be heard if she spoke quietly.

"Hey" she said softly, hoping to get the girls attention but also that the wolf wouldn't be able to hear "We have a plan, sort of, and we need to get the wolf back to the gates. Understood?" she said evenly. By the end of her words she had become more professional, and calmer despite the adrenalin running wild through her veins. She looked over at the wolf, and took a deep breath to steady herself. She had never worked in a team before, minus family but she doubted this counted, and could admit to being nervous.

The wolf dodged the initial attack by Angerona by jumping into the hair and raising his paw which became lit with lightning and slashed through them," Stay...out," growling at the young girl who had just tried to penetrate his mind, he would shake his head and continue moving. Landing back onto the ground he would continue to jump into the air and run up the building to its left, startling many of the villagers below him. He wasn't quite sure of this but he was pretty sure they were there to kill or subdue him, but why not have a little fun in the process? Eating what was left of the mean he would continue to run across the buildings, noting the one girl with the meat in her hands," Is that...spiced meet she has?," thinking to himself he stop and leered at her for a moment, and began to run at her with a voracious look in his eyes. She had unintentionally made the wolf hungrier by having one of his favorite meats, and because of that he would have chased her for it.
