Arashi sat in a chair in a store, steadily chewing on his toothpick. He was a little hungry, so he decided to stop by a store before he got done with his training. Arashi was a simple person, and usually didn't buy extravagant things. This time, he ordered a bowl of rice and chicken.

Are my skills good enough? I fee like I'm not as strong as I should be..."

A steaming bowl of rice and chicken was placed in front of him, and he began eating at a slightly quicker pace then he usually did. He wanted to get to training as fast as he could..in about five minutes, he finished and left some ryo on the table. He jogged out the store with a frown on his face.

I've already spent so much time on eating...I'm gonna have to wake up earlier if I wanna get stronger...might as well make up the lost time by jogging to the training grounds...

The training grounds were a little far when you came from this store, so Arashi was assered it would be a decent warm up. He managed to avoid bumping past people, albeit barely. Many people gave him glares as he ran past them, and he shot those same glares back, making some of the civilians flinch.

"Idiots...when I do some missions and get promoted, I'm not taking this crap...I'm beating some ass, and I don't care what anyone does.."

He said this in a tone similar to a mumble, and continued his jog towards the training grounds. The training grounds were slowly coming into view. Soon, he entered the boundaries, and his jogging turned into a steady walk. He was panting a little, and he wiped a drop of sweat off hhis brow, looking around. It seemed empty, which Arashi liked.

"Now...let's get this training session started!"

Hunter sat in the training grounds that day.  The air was sweet with the smell of flowers, and he was under a tree that gave off a particularly good amount of shade.  Hunter had his swords all inside their sheathes and resting on his shoulder while his familiar Slow Death was training with students already.

There was a familiar scent in the air as he looked around.  It took him a few minutes, but after scouring the Training Grounds he noticed the boy from the training session held just the other day.  It seemed the boy was still rather young, yet he craved power...It was as he found a bit of himself in the boy.  He waited till he grew closer to the tree, and as he did Hunter stood up.

"You there, student...defend yourself."

He would say calmly as he body flickered in front of the boy and moved with a speed that was a mere fraction of his top.  He was going in for a strike at the boy's shoulder.  Not enough to do permanent damage, but enough to sting.  If the boy was smart enough, he would step to the left and try to dodge and strike out at his hand.

Arashi was just about to begin target practice, when a man who appeared out of the blue launched an attack at him. Being caught by surprise, it was a bit hard to maneuver out of the way in time. Gritting his teeth, Arashi managed to spin his body out of the way of the strike, and used the momentum of the dodge to his advantage by launching a roundhouse to the face of his attacker.

"I don't know who the hell you are..but you're pissing me off..I suggest you get away from me before my anger gets loose and I kick your ass!" Of course, Arashi knew that it was entirely possible this guy was holding back and could've killed him by flicking a finger.

Hunter saw the attack coming and he let it land, and as the boy would soon experience...his foot would hurt pretty bad.  He smiled as he stood up and looked at the boy in the eyes as he scoffed.  Hunter merely walked up to him and touched his shoulder while using The Ripper Technique with a single finger.  There would be no way to avoid it, and Hunter knew very well that it would hit since he was going 40 speed.  He sighed as he sat behind the young boy.

"Anger leads to bad judgement...as well as an empty stomach.  It also allows your enemy to see that they have the true upper hand in a fight.  Don't worry about the numbness, it will leave in a few seconds.  If you are still angry though..."

Hunter sighed as he used his Hammerspace Generator to summon his Wakizashi, as it materialized he threw it above the boy, making sure it landed at his feet.

"Then pick up that blade and strike me down...if you can manage to land a strike on me...I will concede defeat to the better warrior and you will never see me again...however, if you are not able to strike me...then you will become my student.  You have no choice in this matter.  Now remember this saying, do or do not...there is no try."

Hunter would yawn as he now had all of his swords laying against his shoulder again, it almost looked like he was asleep.

As soon as Arashi landed hhis attack, he felt confident that this guy was an amateur. That is, until, a pain shot immediately through his leg, causing him to quickly retract his leg and sit down on the ground. What the hell was this guy made of? Arashi gritted his teeth and clenched his fists..was this the way he was gonna die? How pathetic..then, the man went up to him and simply tapped him, causing his shoulder to go numb. Instead of being struck down, however, the man proceeded to give him a lesson on why anger was bad, and laid down a sword infront of him...it seemed he wanted Arashi to try and kill him.

Arashi took the sword in his left hand, which was the worst out of the two, and gripped the hilt, his hand slowly trembling. It was now or never...but Arashi couldn't do it, and dropped it to the ground.

"You attacked me so fast that I couldn't even react...just because I'm currently very angry, doesn't mean I'm stupid enough to fight an opponent I can't beat. So fine, I'll become your student."

Arashi knelt down on one knee looking off into the distance..this man was clearly the path for Arashi to become strong enough..

I'm gonna become strong enough to protect my family, and when I learn enough, I'm gonna kick his ass and make him eat dirt...

Hunter yawned as he opened his eyes.  He looked at the boy without a smile as he snapped his fingers, the Wakizashi that the boy dropped was now back at it's home in the Hammerspace Generator.  Hunter stood up and came to the boy and put a hand on his shoulder, by this time all of his blades had been placed inside his belt or on his back.

"Dont kneel you fool stand tall and look proud for I am no king.  A swordsman is a servant...a tool for your Kage, King, or Master, and whether I am your master or not...you bow to me and refer to me as your teacher, now rise.  We have much work to do..."

Hunter would smile to the boy as he would look at him and rough his hair up a bit, remembering how his Master, Yaju, used to do to him on a daily basis.  He then yawned and sat in front of the boy before pointing to a tree behind him.

"This tree here...probably been around for hundreds of years, plenty of ninja have probably slept under it, more have probably died under it, and even more so...have probably fallen into that emotional state of euphoric state that carries us all away...love.  We are not here for any of that.  We are here to train... Now what I want you to do is climb up as far as you can go, and find two branches suitable for smacking each other around...I will give you about two minutes...Then I will cut the tree, with or without you on it.  Startin.....Now!"

Hunter began to count down in his mind waiting for the boy to begin his training.

When the man went up to him and ruffled his hair, Arashi frowned slightly, almost yelling at him. But, he held it back and formed a smile on his face. He felt like he could trust this guy...his sensei.. he got up from his kneeled down position, and bowed slightly. He was right...they did have plenty of work to do. His new sensei instructed him to grab two branches from the tree in front of them in two minutes..honestly, that didn't sound like a challenge at all since Arashi would easily be able to climb trees with the tree climbing technique.

"Hn. I noticed we don't even know each other's names. I am Arashi..."

Arashi then went off towards the tree, molding the chakra into his feet. It was a pretty basic move and required only minimum chakra control.. Arashi then proceeded to walk up the tree, looking around for any branches that seemed good enough for sparing.

Gotta remember I'm on a timer here...how bothersome.

Once he got to the middle of the tree, Arashi found two branches that looked perfect, and ripped them out. He walked back down the tree over to his sensei, the branches in his left hand.

"So...that was easy. I doubt I would've made it if I didn't know how to climb surfaces, though."

Arashi threw one of the branches, letting it slide near his Sensei's feet.

"Hn.."

Hunter noticed the boy's complete lack of theatrics, but also noted that he did do as instructed. Even if he did cut the corners to do it. Hunter remained seated on the ground as he looked at the branch that was thrown at him. He did not scoff, nor smile at it as he looked back up.

"Again...and this time without the use of your ninjutsu. You must learn to use your body's natural reflexes and movements. Kenjutsu and the use of weaponry in general does not come from your Chakra, your Chakra does not swing, throw, or defend FOR you...you use it in conjunction to your own natural ability. Besides...this...twig, would not even do good to roast a rabbit on. You have two minutes."

With that Hunter yawned as he stared back at the boy, his relaxed and overall nature suggested that he did not care and was bored. Yet the way he spoke showed that he was well educated and truly knew how to handle a weapon, and would eventually show his new student how to truly work. He also still neglected to tell his student his name, but he did so for a reason as he waited for the right moment.

Arashi silently cursed. Doing this whole thing without Ninjutsu would suck, but he didn't expect his training to be easy. He looked back up to the tree he climbed up on the first time, and began walking at a quick pace.

Hn.... the first steps to power. No matter how pointless, how tedious this seems... these type of people always have a method to the madness.

Arashi was quite adept at the use of Ninjutsu, that's what his teachers told him. Combining Ninjutsu and his weapon would be powerful. Arashi heard stories of Shinobi's with swords slicing through mountains with chakra infusion. He wanted that kind of power..the power to kill anyone who threatened his village and his family. But before he could do any of that...he first needed to figure out how to climb a tree..his large stature made it difficult ffor him to properly anchor himself.

"Hn..."

The sound contained the slightest bit of annoyance that Arashi wasn't able to do something so simple.

I was one of the smartest in my class, but I can't figure out how to climb a damn tree? All of my bullies...I can feel them laughing at me...in the end, I have still failed..

His inner frustration was barely visible on the surface, with only a small frown forming on his face. Finally, Arashi managed to get on the tree, but how much time did he have left? He plucked two branches that looked good enough and leaped off the tree, throwing the branches near his Sensei.

"Are these good enough..?"

Folding his arms, and tapping his foot at a steady pace, Arashi was not amused by this exercise.

Hunter looked at Arashi as he had a great trouble climbing the tree. It was both a humble, and amusing feeling as he stood up to watch his young student fail again and again. He was running short on time when he finally reached the branches up top. He managed to yet again pluck a few mere twigs and jump down before throwing them to Hunter. Hunter smiled before putting his swords inside of his belt again and picking up a branch from the ground. He examined it carefully before looking at his student, and then just as gracefully as he picked it up he looked at the tree and thrust with a quick exhale and just at a mere 2 feet away he stabbed the tree with the branch, the twig should have splintered, but instead it was neatly placed through the tree as if Hunter had stabbed a stick of butter with a hot blade. Then he turned to his student and walked from the tree leaving him to gawk a moment before finally calling to him.

"I ask for something suitable to train with...yet you bring me twigs, no matter..."

He would say as he would hold out his hands, the Hammersapce Generator was glowing and pulsating before finally two wooden Bokken appeared in each hand, perfectly sheathed and looking like art more than tools of training he looked at his student.

"The Bokken...it is tradition that the student use a Bokken before handling a real blade, its Katana like design and weight..."

He demonstrated by tossing the blades into the air, jumping up and catching them both as the sheathes fell to the ground and stuck there. He then began to move fluidly as he struck the ground with grace. Even his tall muscular build was flexing as if he was a puppet on a string. He stopped just as quickly as he started and looked at his student.

"Allow the Student, or even the master to practice at their full speed and work their muscles to their breaking point without fear of cutting themselves. Now...I asked you to do a simple task, and you did it....but you still failed. You lack desire and discipline...your movements have no meaning, and your as cocky as the Alpha dog inside a cage. IF you wish to learn from me as I have been taught then you must forsake your teachings of being a ninja..."

He would hold out the Bokken in his right hand, his most dominant, and trusted hand. It was both a signal and a door that would be metaphoricly opened.

"and simply take this Bokken into your hands...It is designed to practice with, not to carve or draw on, not to cut or maim...it will become apart of your body, and you will be able to with it, like I did to that tree with a twig. This is the way to become a warrior. A way to become a servant of the people. A way to free yourself from the shackles of life. And a way to power."

Hunter would wait to see how his student would react. Would he become the Apprentice of a swordsman, the very people that go against the natural order of the Ninja World...or would he stay a sheep blindly following the teachings that everyone learns.
